General Appearance: Karashi’s appearance is usually casual. She wears her hair up in a messy bun a lot, and her clothes reflect the fact that she likes to be comfortable. She never really wears make-up (unless she’s trying to impress a boy, which she never is trying to do) and likes to wear what she wants. Every day, Karashi usually wears jeans, some Converse sneakers or gym shoes, and usually a shirt with the sleeves folded up with a nice sweater or button up that covers it.
When going somewhere nice or dressing up, Karashi likes to wear fashionable dresses. Her style is simplistic, so she doesn’t like bold patterns. She mostly sticks to solid colors. She also wears contacts and only wears her glasses at night, especially since her power gives her a headache (she always makes sure she has aspirin on hand).
Personality:Despite her power, Karashi is a bit shy. She doesn’t know how to use it, so she’s afraid that it will come out and she won’t be able to control it. That’s what led her parents to think she wasn’t social, even more so than before she knew she had her power. She was always stereotyped, even in the Hammel Institute in Japan, so she didn’t really like to socialize much.
Karashi appears very timid, and doesn’t like to engage anything, but she will if she has to. For example, if she has to talk to people for a project, she will. Because she keeps everything inside, her emotions tend to get the better of her. She’s more likely to cry than get angry at someone. She is also very frail, but doesn’t like to tell people because she doesn’t want people to pity her. She tries to blend in with the crowd and go as unnoticed as she possibly can. However, once she gets to know someone (which is rare for her), she’s outgoing, friendly, and always puts other before herself. Her traits (listed below) describe her to a limited extent.Your VicesLikes: Candy, nice people, singing, writing own stories, reading

She is a native of Japan, born and raised, and until she decided to transfer to the Hammel Institute in Pilot Ridge, Vermont, she had not been anywhere else. She lived a very normal life, which is described in the following paragraphs.
Up until the manifestation of her power, Karashi was considered a loner. She hardly talked to anyone, usually did all of the work in school projects, and she didn’t have any friends. She always went to school, did her homework, and obeyed her parents. Then again, she was an only child, and in her culture (since she is Japanese), an only child had high expectations. Karashi was expected to keep her grades up, which she did, and her parents loved her for that.
However, one strange thing led to the next, and Karashi found that she was no ordinary human. One night, as she was sitting at her desk in her room, she was looking at her computer screen, and staring at some coding for a website she needed to do for school. Suddenly, the codes began to make sense to her. Even though Karashi was a straight A student, coding had been a struggle for her.
Karashi had been staying after class extra hours, getting a tutor, and even studied harder than the others did (meaning she spent at least two weeks studying when the others only needed one week or half of one). The only thing Karashi could attest to this happening was that she hadn’t gotten enough sleep because of her studying habits. Although she did smell something funny in her room the other day, but it had passed…
But that wasn’t all. At the school she was attending, there were a mix of different ethnic backgrounds and races. Some of the groups spoke in different languages based on their race. As Karashi passed by them, minding her own business as usual, she suddenly turned towards them. They had been talking in Filipino, and she had understood all of it. The girl had never taken Filipino in her life, much less been to the Philippines. This freaked Karashi out, but things just got weirder.
A week later, Karashi was visited by a man who explained to her why all of these weird things were happening. The only reason she believed him was because his reasoning was valid. He then suggested she go to a school for what they called ‘meta-humans’, or humans with powers. About a week later, after talking to her parents, they agreed that maybe a new school would help her to become more social. After enrolling in the Japanese sister school, Eisai Gakko, her social life still didn’t improve, and Karashi’s parents were worried about her.
About two months later, the opportunity to go overseas to the Hammel Institute in Pilot Ridge, Vermont arose, and Karashi's parents jumped at the chance. They thought that having their daughter go overseas would broaden her horizons and hopefully allow her to improve her 'talent' (they didn't like calling it a power, and being the prodigy child she was, her parents knew whenever she was doing poorly in her classes). This is where her story begins.Roleplay ExampleKita giggled and shook her head. "I know you're confused. Trust me. If you're ever at fault for something and I'm with you, I'll take the blame. The punishment I would receive would be far much less than what you would have to endure." The princess had seen guards beheaded for small crimes they had committed against her parents. She had never lost a personal guard that way. Fighting to protect her life, yes. In fact she had had some near death experiences as well, and she had somehow survived. That was another reason she admired the knights. Kita knew that they dedicated their lives to her, and for that, she was grateful.
Kita frowned, hearing how he had responded. "Allan, please. Kita is my name. Unless you're standing in front of or near my parents, then formalities aren't necessary." She was used to her personal guards not being used to letting go of their formal training. Every single guard she had in the past took a while for them to finally get comfortable with her, and she understood. She would probably feel the same way if she was in his position. "You'll get used to it, I promise." Kita flashed him a huge smile as they walked out into the courtyard. She pointed out different places to him, hoping he would remember them for future reference.
Kita frowned, suddenly feeling a bit lightheaded. It wasn't the corset this time… Suddenly it dawned on her. The last time she had eaten was for breakfast. The ceremony had taken longer than expected, so they had to go through lunch. The princess had a condition where if she didn't eat for a certain period of time, she would grow weary and eventually pass out. This was one of those times. "We'll have to cut our tour short Allan. I need something to eat, or I will be on the floor." She always tried to make a joke about it, but as they walked, it got worse. Kita scolded herself mentally for not paying attention to it earlier.
Kita continued on, taking a shortcut through the courtyard and into a building, looking over her shoulder to make sure Allan was still following her. She stopped, and snapped her fingers. A maid appeared, with a beautiful Victorian style dress. After several minutes of struggling, she finally got it on. The maid curtsied and left, and the young princess swayed, grabbing onto a pillar to steady herself. They weren't far from the dining hall. "It's getting worse…" she said, mostly talking to herself. She looked up at Allan and smiled. "Here, formalities are a must." Still, she pressed on, determined to make it there before her body gave out on her. However, she made it to the doors, only to moan softly and collapse to the ground. Kita's blood sugar was dangerously low. What About You?Name: Alison. I prefer to be called Ayami though, but if that doesn't work for you, then Alison is fine. :3
