[Sawyer Lynn]

She must have stared at Dani's door for about two minutes before she realised she wasn't there to visit the electrokinetic. Sawyer hadn't been able to stop herself from thinking about the smaller meta ever since Valentine's Day. And it felt a little...cheap of her for only deciding two weeks after to contact her. Via email. About the DJ interface the other girl had promised to hook her up with.

Sawyer shook her head of those thoughts and walked past the room and into Lucy's, not bothering to knock as she opened the door and announced her presence.

"Bub, I need yer help to send an email." She said, getting her phone out of her pocket and waved it at Lucy. "Do you have a connecting thingie to get a photo out of my phone and on to a computer?"

Lucy wasn't spending her time on anything in particular. She was comfortably seated in front of her computer, shooting the utter hell out of random people online. She was definitely having a decent run of it so far; truthfully, it felt like it'd been ages since she'd had a good few hours to kill on something like this. Surely there were more important, school related things she could be doing. But she didn't want to.

The door swung open and Lucy didn't even bother looking up. Sawyer and Rowan were the only two who visited like that, anyway. She leaned forward, running the sound down on her speakers as she spared a glance towards- Sawyer.

"You can't send a bloody email?" She asked, raising her eyebrows as she settled her hand on the mouse again. Only a few minutes left and this run would be over. She couldn't stop for an email crisis. "I... Reckon I do, yeah." If she had the capacity to look, she would have checked her phone then and there. "Don't you have a dropbox?"

Not really an emergency, the fact that Lucy was playing a game had Sawyer jumping into bed and lounging. She could wait until the Australian was done with her game.

Her question had Sawyer scratching the back of her head. "Eh...never had a reason to have an email." She answered, nodding at her response, even though Lucy couldn't see it. Another question and Sawyer crinkled her nose. "The fuck's a dropbox?" She asked.

Lucy listened to the way movement went around behind her. Sawyer was happily chilling on her bed already. That was good, she supposed. Though the last thing her bed needed was memories of another girl tied to it

Still, she exhaled a short, sharp burst of laughter at Sawyer's response. She had to be kidding, right? The tone of her voice said that what she offered was a fact. A ridiculous fact. "You gotta be fucking with me." She said, twisting her mouth at the fact. She shouldn't laugh too much, really.

"It's a thing that connects your phone storage to your computer. So when you take pictures they upload to an internet site and you can download them from there." She explained, rolling her shoulders back as she offered a few rapid clicks of the mouse. "How old's your bloody phone anyway?"

Rolling her eyes at Lucy's response, she did realise just how ridiculous it is for her to be so behind the technological times but still, it didn't change the fact that she never had the need. She had always been too busy finding ways to destroy the people in her lives. And gymnastics. Wow, how long had that sport filled her life?

She let her friend laugh, nothing too harmful to her ego, seeing as Lucy was used to technology more than she was. "I thought you needed a cable thing for that though?" Sawyer asked, leaning forward on the bed with a curious furrow of her eyebrows. "Uh...I dunno...I've had it since I was like...fifteen or something." She shrugged.

"No cables for that. It uses this epic little thing called the fucking internet." Lucy replied, finally swinging back in her chair when the game at hand was finished. Scores were loading. Points and gamer cards were being updated. So she finally turned around to look at her friend.

And lower her eyebrows at the explanation about her phone. "Are you fucking with me? How do you do anything?" She asked, extending her hand out. She better have brought it with her. "No wonder you never send a damn text." She muttered, knowing Sawyer was prone to IMing over texting any day.

"What's this about anyway?"

Sawyer rolled her eyes once more at Lucy's matter-of-fact tone of voice. "Yes, yes. I get it. We're all supposed to be plugged into the internet and trust all these machines. Whatever." She made a face. "But fuck me for dealing with things the old fashioned way."

The look on Lucy's face had Sawyer giving her a questioning look. Was it so weird not to be up to date with things like that? Oh well. She was about to learn how to do one important thing today anyway. "Well...texting costs money. We get the thingie for IMs for free. Of course I'd choose IMing." She tossed her phone at Lucy and sat on the edge of the bed, closer to the computer.

"Uh...I'm sending my interface specs over to Dani who's gonna hook me up with it." She shrugged, all nonchalant. Lucy knew about the DJ interface since Sawyer gushed about it enough with the ink manipulator.

"I wouldn't fuck you for the hardware you're sporting." Lucy shot back with a laugh, unable to stop herself when Sawyer gave her that look.

Lucy returned the questioning look her friend gave her with one of her own. Did she really not know how imperative it felt to keep up with things like this? If Lucy carried a device like this she might have shot herself in the face a long time ago. She needed to keep up with things like this. It bugged her when she didn't. But to each their own. "You're just in love with your IM name." She replied, recalling many a volley between vectorspectre and majorluckyswindle.

Breathing an audible sigh at the device, Lucy pondered her luck here. "This is possibly the gayest thing you own." She pointed out, half listening to the way she spoke about Dani. Her eyes were too busy speculating the skills of this ancient flip phone.

"You can still MMS on this shit, right?" She asked, glancing at Sawyer as if she actually knew what that meant. Not that it really mattered, Lucy was scrolling through to find the image gallery anyway. "Do I wanna know what else you take pics of, mate?"

"I don't want your filthy hands on my hardware anyway." Sawyer responded with a smirk. "I'm lying. If you can't tell." She added with a smirk. It took a lot more than a 'I've been sleeping with someone else' from Lucy to stop Sawyer from serving up innuedos left and right to her friend. All in good fun of course.

"Hey, vectorspectre is an awesome IM handle." She shot back with an exaggerated frown.

The remark about her phone made Sawyer chuckle. Lucy would be right. The phone had been a fifteenth birthday gift from her dad. She didn't know why she held on to it for so long. It probably had something to do with the fact that she still subconsciously held some hope that by keeping the device, it would make her dad know she didn't hate him.

"Nah, the gayest thing I own is you." She responded with a lazy shrug.

Looking at Lucy with a frown and an upturned lip, she asked. "Is that some sort of disease? Male menstruating syndrome maybe?" She asked before smirking at Lucy's question. "You know you want to see if there's some raunchy pic of me you can save into your spank bank. Don't lie." She shook her head.

"So, do you have the wire to connect it to a computer maybe?"

Lucy offered a dry laugh at the serve of banter she offered. Maybe the gayest thing she owned was the Australian. "Some relationship this'll turn out to be if you're talking about ownership." She retorted, but she grinned all the while.

"Yeah, you fucking nailed the meaning of MMS right there." Lucy tried, though it was difficult through her laughter. Really, she couldn't help how funny it was when Sawyer struggled with all things technological. This girl was up to date with her DJing equipment, but not her damn phone? How much sense did that make? "Don't need a picture to see you naked, y'know."

Really, that much was obvious.

"I don't do much with LG, mate." Lucy replied as she tapped away at the keypad to Sawyer's ancient phone. "Chill out though, I got this." Was all she offered on the subject, making a point of spending a little time fiddling with the device. She kept her eyes on it, reaching forward to grab her own phone.

Sure enough, she'd managed to send the image to herself. So she tossed Sawyer's phone back towards her and focused her attention on the little screen in her hands.

"What'd you say to Penny?" Lucy asked, as nonchalantly as she could given the subject she was pressing on with.

It's okay. I like to think if I own something, I pay for it. You've been mine for free forever so...you do the math uh?" Sawyer extended her leg to push against the chair Lucy was currently occupying.

It was something of an accomplishment to Sawyer when she got to make anybody laugh. Doubly so if it was people she was close to. Even if it was at her instead of with her.

At the point Lucy made, Sawyer pretended to ponder over it before shrugging. "Guess you're right. I am your kept woman. I keep forgetting. I'm getting old, Serrano." She sighed

When the reassurance came, Sawyer hid the smile that was threatening to explode on her face. She was well on her way to both have a reason to talk to Dani and quite possibly get her interface! "Cool." She jumped off the bed and paced a little in the smallish room, nosily eyeing everything that the Australian possessed.

The question came when Sawyer was the least distracted by the items and with a small frown, the voice mimic tried to recall what Lucy could possibly be talking about. A grin broke out on her face when she remember exactly what this could pertain to.

"Oh you know, the usual. That I was your woman and I was up for a three way. Why? Is she interested?"

Lucy rolled her eyes, her nose crinkling as her chair was forced to swivel slightly underneath the weight of her friend's foot.

"At least you're admitting it now." She replied, throwing her head back and offering something of a snerking sound along with her laugh. Truly, Lucy supposed part of her did belong to Sawyer, in a weird friendship kind of way. She was important enough to keep around. Good enough to stay around, too.

She ignored the way she paced. She wasn't the first girl to pace in the Australian's room while in her company, and likely wouldn't be the last.

Finally reaching forward, Lucy listened as she placed her phone down and her attention went to her computer screen. Dragging up a browser, loading up emails. Finding the picture in a marathon of messages she'd sent. She saved it to the desktop - at least that way, Sawyer could be easily guided through the emailing process.

"Does she seem like the type to ever be keen on something like that?" Lucy asked, breathing a laugh as she hauled herself out of her chair. With a tilt of her head she indicated that she should sit down. Get her email started. "She was really fucking pissed off, so thanks for that. It was a bloody joy to deal with." Though the words could have sounded harsh, Lucy had toned the fact down in her face. She wasn't mad at Sawyer - she knew this was coming.

Sawyer smirked at Lucy's response, along with her laugh, shrugging nonchalantly. She would have added something else pertaining to the joke but she figured she'd already said enough.

At the question, Sawyer chuckled, her lips narrowing into a small pout. "I dunno. The quiet ones are known to be freaky." Sawyer remarked before smirking. "She's shacking up with you, I'd say she could be open to anything."

Sliding down into the chair, Sawyer stared at the computer and then back up at Lucy. "What? Why?" She asked, a slight frown gracing her face. "It was a joke. She knew it was a joke right? I mean...that's our thing." Sawyer pointed out.

Lucy didn't respond, initially. She knew it was better not to, because in part her best friend was right. She just grinned back at her smirk, opting not to point out just how forceful and possessive Penelope Blaise was when other people weren't around. Besides, she'd already alluded to that much last time they spoke.

Now it was just... Different.

"Well, yeah. Like, I know it's our thing." Lucy started, sounding pretty proud of it. Because she was. Whatever she had with Sawyer was definitely something for the books. "She's got no idea we even have a thing. Which is fucked, because anyone with half a damn brain knows you're the bloody love of my life." She couldn't help but smirk at the fact as she leaned forward, resting her hand on Sawyer's and guiding it to the mouse. She eased the cursor around the screen. "You got her address, yeah?"

She damn well better, because that was something Lucy couldn't help with.

It was, however, a decent break for the conversation. A good distraction. It all meant Lucy didn't have to look at her. "It's not just fucking, I don't reckon." She started, again, pursing her lips at the fact. The admission sounded strange coming out of her mouth; "Not any more."

"Augh, bummer." Sawyer pouted exaggeratedly. She had a feeling that as much as this thing she had with Lucy was awesome, it was probably going to either have to be simmered down or put down completely with Penelope's arrival. But who was she kidding? Sawyer wasn't about to stop play-flirting with the girl who didn't think she was so abhorrent.

The question of an address had Sawyer stumped for a second before she realised Lucy was talking about Dani's email address. "Oh yeah I have it. In my phone." She snatched it up and went through her phonebook until she found what she was looking for, and showed it to Lucy.

When the other girl started speaking again, Sawyer looked at the ink manipulator from the corner of her eye. It sounded serious and it felt serious. The discomfort she had felt when Lucy first opened up about her relationship or whatever she had with that blue-haired mirror-walker started to seep through Sawyer's cracks.

"Is it mutual?" She finally asked after a long pause.
