Two weeks was a long time. Lucy and Penny had successfully managed to shut themselves off from the rest of the world during their time in Naples. It was, in truth, the closest thing to perfection the ink manipulator could contrive in her mind. A time where the rest of the world ceased to exist long enough for her to indulge in the person she'd just married without worry. Without stress. For two weeks, it was just her. She was the proverbial world.
It was a little daunting to think of how things were going to be when they got back; Lucy predicted a myriad of distressed messages from both sides of the family. Demands. Questions about where they'd gone and why they weren't getting back in touch with anyone. For now, the Australian made no move to contact anyone.

They'd been back at home for hours now. Penny made a point of meticulously unpacking each suitcase, and Lucy let her. She was half asleep on the couch - her body catching up with all the exhaustion she wore from both travel and her wife's intent appreciation. But she was abruptly jolted awake by some intense knocking at the door. Dragging herself up, the Australian made the move to answer it.
There, she saw the beloved face of Rowan. It wasn't until she saw him that she realised she missed him so incredibly. But he didn't look right. He looked...
"What?" Was all she asked, concern flooding the singular word.
