We recently had some suggestions for restructuring the residences board. It's become pretty massive, so we agree with creating sub-boards for neighborhoods. We don't want to make too many options, so I think five neighborhoods, possibly six.
Just a note about apartments: Vermont prohibits large building construction on the state-level and thus all of the apartment buildings will be smaller, older style. It's a real-life quirk of the area that we want to keep in the game.
We are interested in having a map of Pilot Ridge drawn! If you're interested, let us know. I have a sketch of what I picture the town to look like, but it needs an artist.
Here are the categories staff came up with in discussion:
All neighborhoods marked with ** have debatable names. The names are just to keep things clear during discussion.
After a week of discussion, we'll add the neighborhoods in.
So, what do people think? Is there another neighborhood we should add?

Here are the categories staff came up with in discussion:
- Outskirts - The outskirts of Pilot Ridge, any place that isn't within one of the other neighborhoods. Residences in the Outskirts are not necessarily near each other.
- **Lakeview - A neighborhood that makes up the "nicer" side of town. This is where you will find larger houses. It's close to the Lake.
- Downtown Apartments - Any apartment in the downtown or club district area. Since they're in the middle of town, the apartments here are nicer and more expensive. Most apartments here are either converted from older family homes or are above retail spaces.
- **Ridgeview Heights - An apartment complex near the edge of town. It has several buildings and the rent is much cheaper than downtown. Each building has three levels and 9-12 apartments.
- **Meadowwood - A neighborhood that is more affordable than Lakeview. There are family homes of different sizes, as well as some duplexes. The public schools are in the center of this neighborhood.
