Zeke has the ability to make himself smell like anything he has smelled personally, from chocolate chip cookies to roses to farts.  It's largely influenced by his emotional state, and due to his nervous disposition, he's had a hard time learning how to control it.  When he's happy, typically he releases a good type of smell; when he's upset, it's usually the opposite.  When he does finally get his ability more under control, he should be able to manipulate himself to smell like anything at any time.  It's never an overpowering smell, but usually subtle enough that one has to be within four to five feet from him to smell.

Side effects include short-term nausea and occasional headaches, as well as feeling self-conscious around people when he's nervous and it's obvious in his odor.

General Appearance:
Zeke has never considered himself all that much of a good-looking person.  With narrow eyes that have a tendency to have dark circles and seem far apart, and with hair that never lays the way he'd like it too, there are a couple things he feels self-conscious about.  He does, at least, have pretty flaw-free skin, and large, pouty lips that rarely smile around strangers.  

He was never a very tall kid until he hit puberty, and then he shot upwards to his current height of 6'2".  He's rather gangly because of his height, and although he swims, his muscle tone is fairly light and not incredibly impressive.  He weighs in at about 165 lbs, most of it in his broad shoulders. Although Zeke was born with PAIS (partial androgen insensitivity syndrome), he has the physical characteristics of a cisgender male apart from ambiguous genitalia.  He thinks he would be able to gain heavier muscle mass if he didn't have this condition, but he tries to make the most of it.

Despite his height, Zeke often walks in public with a nervous slump, so he might seem shorter than he really is.  He has many nervous habits, such as tapping or scuffing his foot, fiddling with his hands, and having a hard time keeping eye contact.  He dresses casually, usually in some sort of dark jeans and a basic shirt and jacket.  He does work as a physician's aide, however, and dresses more appropriately for the job when he's working.

Personality: If a near-stranger or acquaintance were asked to describe Zeke, they would likely use the terms "awkward", "distant", and "spacey".  His social skills aren't the greatest, but it's not because he's purposefully being rude - his social anxiety causes him to be pretty closed-off and expressionless in casual conversations in public.  He rarely smiles, and if he does, it's very slight.  He also has a habit of keeping a larger than average distance between himself and other people in case his ability starts working against him.  He's nervous to date, although he has a few times in the past until things start to become too intimate, and he panics and flees.  Along with general social anxiety, he also suffers from a panic disorder related to being in closed spaces with people - for this reason, he struggles to take exams in school and go on road trips.

With the few people he's comfortable with, however, he can be a completely different person.  Zeke is actually a rather emotional person and expresses them quite strongly when he feels like he's in a safe environment.  He's passionate about swimming, and singing (although he's too nervous to do it with anyone but himself), and human physiology, which he's studying in college in hopes to become a physical therapist someday (hopefully once his power is more under-control).  He loves eating (especially pizza), and enjoys small, furry creatures, especially ferrets (and especially his own ferret, Cheeto).

He's also very involved in learning as much as he can about disabilities and disorders, as well as transgender culture.  While he doesn't identify as transgender himself, he feels that he is in a position to give some insight on what it's like growing up with non-binary physiology, although he has trouble voicing himself due to his insecurities and anxiety, so most of his support is online.  

Some of his other hobbies include playing Pokemon and Minecraft in his free time, sketching from human models he finds online (he especially enjoys muscular and skeletal anatomy), and hiking or wandering around Pilot Ridge and the surrounding area.

History

Zeke was born in the northern outskirts of NYC as the first and only child of Soonbok and Wonshik Moon.  Unexpectedly, one of their first decisions in the newborn's life that they had to make was whether or not to have a doctor perform "correctional" surgery on their baby, as Zeke was born with PAIS and didn't fit the normal physiological binary of male or female.  Fortunately, and for which Zeke is thankful, the couple decided against it, and determined he could make the decision for himself if he wanted to get it done, when he was old enough.  He never wanted to get it done, and doesn't think he ever will, although he does feel a little unusual sometimes because of his condition.  But he thinks it's better that he stays the way he was born, and his parents support him wholeheartedly.

He always tended to deviant towards masculine activities as a child, and grew up as a typical cisgender male would expect to.  Zeke enjoyed swimming, and science, and playing with bugs in the dirt.  Most of his friends were other boys, but he never really said anything about what was different about him - he was too young to really understand anyway.  He grew up living near his mother's friend and her son, Danny, and the two were best friends since a very young age.  Danny was always and still is one of the few people that are aware of Zeke's insecurities.  

The only semi-traumatic event that occurred during his childhood was when Zeke slipped and fell at a swimming pool once.  He hit his head and suffered a minor concussion, and still has a small scar on his forehead from the incident.  Otherwise, he feels fine, and swimming is still one of his favorite past-times.  

Danny manifested a couple of years before Zeke did, and he was pretty distraught when he suddenly found himself alone.  He had some other friends, but Danny was his closest, and he had a hard time adjusting to the next few years without his slightly older friend.  He became more introverted and anxious around other children, although it didn't get to be terribly crippling until later in life.

His manifestation was not very dramatic.  In fact, Zeke didn't even realize it had happened until the recruiters came a few days later.  He was 13, and sitting in math class during an exam, when he had a small panic attack.  The area around him started smelling like garlic, much to his and other students' confusion and distaste, but the smell eventually dissipated and he didn't think anything of it until he was visited and taken to Hammel, where he was happy, at least, to reunite with his best friend.

Zeke did just fine with the education part of Hammel; socially and powers-wise, however, he struggled.  Because his ability was almost always directly influenced by his mood and emotions, and he was frequently uncomfortable or anxious in social situations, it made both his social life and his powers training difficult.  Danny being around helped some, but Zeke still tended to retreat to his room as much as he could and spend more time alone where he didn't have to worry about being around people and triggering his embarrassing ability.  That's why, even though he graduated on time, he still has to come back to train.  He managed to get accepted to the local community college and found a job as a physician's assistant recently, but it's always a struggle for him to feel comfortable around other people.  He just does his best.
