I apologize for the delay; between the end of vacation and the hurricane things have been a little hectic. But I digress.

Sean takes it upon himself to help all psychic students who need help, and as another telepath, he would certainly take an interest both in Aki's power development but also in her sense of responsibility and morality, and so he would be happy to get involved and help her to resist that temptation.

Hey, I was just wondering if you'd be willing to do a session between Naomi and Sean. She's slightly off kilter and is supposed to be going through therapy sessions anyway. Not that I was purposefully thinking of that whenever I made her or anything.

Anyway, it would be interesting to see her and Sean sit down, and I'd like to get it so Naomi is at least seeing some kind of therapist. Sean's the obvious first choice.

Sean would know Reece as a past Hammel student. I think it might be good for them to meet up at some point for a coffee or something and Reece would even offer Sean free classes if he wanted them at his club. I think it'll be really a trip down memory lane for Reece to even have coffee with Sean. Tell me if you're up for it at all and when you have a spare moment for a thread.

for the lulz. Deidra is constantly way to happy all the time. I think it would be funny to see what happens when we throw these two together. I know Sean doesn't get annoyed easilly, but I want to try so much, because Dei wouldn't even know she was doing it!

Well first off, Abbey has the memory manipulation thing. So he could help train her. Second of all, she could use some help in the emotional problem department. An angry distant dad and a bipolar mother can mess a kid up.

I do use my plot page but November has been hectic on my end followed by current illness/fever so I apologize for the delay.

I would love to have them do coffee/lunch/trip down memory lane because Sean loves to spend time with former students.

I'm also in the process of closing up threads, so if you want to start it, I can hop in soon. If you would prefer I start, then you need to give me a bit more time to catch up.

I look forward to playing with the two of them!

You are welcome to throw Deidra at Sean in an attempt to frustrate him. However, someone who is constantly happy/perky is unlikely to fit that bill. He tends to be glad that other people are happy.

Did you have an idea in mind for a specific setting/event for them?

Sean is certainly the person to go for regarding her emotional problems which stem from her parents. We can do a thread for them to work on her problems, either as a first session, or we can assume that he has been working with her for a while and then do a later thread.

As for her powers, Sean is always happy to lend an ear or support to someone who has a psychic ability. However, he isn't qualified to do actual training, because he isn't a trainer. So she will need to have an established trainer from the training department (Might I suggest Anya Vasilieva or Chase Campbell? They are excellent. Anya is a power suppressor, and Chase is a fellow psychic with mind control. Both are in character friends of Sean's and their players are wonderful, wonderful people). However, if she wants stories or emotional support over memory manipulation, he is happy to offer it and I am happy to write that out. Because he does understand what she's going through.

I thought it would be nice for Adelaide and Sean to at least meet, seeing as they're colleagues now. Perhaps they could even become friends outside of work? After all, they seem to have a lot in common. What do you think?

Sean would certainly go out of his way to get to know her and to show her the ropes. Additionally, he likely would have known her from her time at Hammel as a student, since he's been at the school for over two decades.

And I agree that they could easily become friends outside of work, due to their similarities and Sean's general desire to make friends with coworkers.

I don't come from a part of the Internet that originally uses plot pages, and thus I'm notoriously bad at updating these. But here are some updates and some potential thread ideas for anyone who wants to play with me and/or Sean:

1) Sean is now living with Joshua Bernstein. What potential does this have for anyone? Josh is somewhat jealous so, with Dryope's permission of course, there is some potential for perceive flirtation and drama. What else? Sean and Josh are amiable and like having guests over. Additionally, if you are a fan of public awkwardness, Sean and Josh go to bars, drink too much, and then tend to get grabby and flirtatious with each other, and that tends to be awkward for everyone around them.

Moving on.

2) Sean is still the only mental health service provider at Hammel right now. So, if you have a student character, and you want to have a thread for any purpose pertaining to mental health services: family problems, adjustment problems, "strange new feelings", he is available. Additionally, Sean has a few other hats, which include: school discipline, issues with being a young psychic, questions about sex and condom distribution, baked goods, relationship advice, discussing the 1970s, and listening while people vent. If your student is in need of any of that, please don't hesitate to hit me up.

3) Sean is uncomfortable with the notion of Operation Patriot despite not having much information about them (and because of not having much information about them to assuage his concerns). So, if your character is with Operation Patriot, we have potential conflict or at least discomfort. If your character is uneasy about Operation Patriot, it's quite possible you have an ally in Sean if you want to kvetch or pontificate.

4) When the weather is nicer, Sean spends an absurd amount of time out on his boat. So if your character would like to learn to sail and it wouldn't be completely absurd or inappropriate to do so with Sean, I am happy to think of a reason to make this happen.

5) If you want a new friend, and your character bakes, Sean will be yours (platonically) forever if you bring him cookies, brownies, cupcakes, or pie.

6) This is difficult for me to write an opening post for since I like to leave these matters open to other people, but one of the most frustrating aspects of telepathy for Sean and most hilarious for me is that he gets random songs stuck in his head from other people. If you are interested in some sort of bonding or introduction thread that begins with your character having an awful or catchy song stuck in his/her/zie head, please hit me up. I am game for this ending in a variety of ways, but I simply love the idea of it.

7) Sean is the world's worst singer. If you want your character traumatized by terrible singing, we can work something out.

These are what come to mind right now. But I am open to plotting with everyone and any character if we can make this work.

I would love for Patricia and Sean to thread.
1. She is a rather good cook, including baking. And it's completely with in her character to make cookies, brownies, or such and put them in the staff room.
2. Given her power, Patricia spends nearly all her time outdoors. If she's not sleeping or working, she can be found outside. She's been on boats before, and even sailing, but never actually manned the boats herself.
3. Though she's not religious, she is constantly singing church songs. She tries to sing mostly in her head, but that doesn't always happen.

I got love for them to know each other, since she's been at Hammel 10 years, I don't think it's actually possible for them to not at least know who the other is. Let me know what you think Mr. Sean!

Cuppy, although I put a disclaimer about being notoriously terrible at updating my plot page because I come from a tradition of not having plot pages, that provides a reason, but not an excuse, for taking so long to reply to this. You have my sincerest apologies.

When you have the time, I would love to do a thread between Patricia and Sean; they most certainly would know each other, and I would also like for them to be friends given their similarities. They can be boat buddies!

Sean & Isaac - I know you're pretty much full on threads right now, but I have a feeling these two would get along very well. Isaac was probably a student of Dr. Neville's back in his Hammel days, and especially after Isaac's mom's death, I'm sure he probably spent a lot of time talking to Sean, and perhaps they still get together sometimes? If you have any ideas, please let me know. But, I have been itching to finally have a thread with Sean, and I think this would be a good match

Apollo, all of that background sounds proper to me. Sean tries to keep in touch with students who graduate, particualrly ones with whom he forged a strong connection, and Isaac fits into that mold.

I know we had discussed threading, but did you have a specific thread idea in mind?
