"Duh, the X-Men are real. My dad's friends with Professor X and he runs a gossip blog." Ginny informed Logan. She had no proof that Dr. Neville had anything to do with Rumor but that never stopped her from spreading around her suspicions before and it wouldn't stop her now.

His obvious knowledge about electronics (beyond whatever powers she suspected he had) piqued her interest. "So you're into enginee---" She began excitedly before some a boy and a girl somewhere around her age shoved their way into the conversation. As she had essentially accosted Logan she didn't particularly find this unusual or a reason to be annoyed, thoiugh she wasn't all that thrilled by the come on. So she decided to ignore it in favor of the comment about the bag.

"Yeah, that's what I was trying to tell him!" She put her hands on her hips, staring at Logan. "See? I'm totally not crazy. Your bag is being chirpy."

Fortunately, before Robbie could continue his friend interrupted with her quip. "Are they ever?" Well, her dad was, but he was a special case.

"Wait." She belatedly realized just what name the girl had given. "Waitwaitwaitwait." How many Estelle's were their in Pilot Ridge? "Omigod omigod omigod. You aren't, like, online are you? I mean," She clarified, "The Council of Elrond? Estelion?"

All he gave Ginny for a moment was a blank stare. Her dad? Who was her dad? Logan think think he needed to say anything at that point. He never did like saying more than he needed to unless it was already obvious what was going on and as long as Ginny was in the dark about it, he didn't feel the need to add to it. She could just figure it out on her on.

The conversation actually seemed to be going a lot better until two other people showed up out of no where. Logan just looked at them for a moment, recognizing their faces. Hammel students, right. He considered just using this as an excuse to get out of there and go back to taking the baby monkey apart and making a few adjustments but he needed to find the right moment first.

"It was not chirping," he tried to explain. He was so close to just getting it out that and proclaiming that the thing in his backpack was gonna be smarter than a 6 year old by the time he was done with it... Smarter than any real baby chimp by a mile too but he kept that to himself. Instead he just took a deep breath to try and relax.

His eyes seemed to glaze over for a sec and Logan seemed perfectly still as he shut off the monkey for good. No more chirping and he didn't even have to reach into his packpack to do it. He probably should have done that the moment Ginny mentioned it but he hadn't thought to. Now it wouldn't be much of a problem.

He watched the two girls talking about the Council of Elrond and figured now was as good a time as any to get out. "Great! So I'm gonna go now. See ya," he said, moving forward, ready to get past them and out the door.

[Robbie Wilkes]

Robbie grinned at Estelle's introduction of him and found that the girl was obviously not interested. That wasn't going to stop him. Not yet anyway.

The other boy's defense about the noise coming from his bag was a little weird but Robbie didn't mind. What he did mind was the boy trying to move away so fast. "Whoa hey dude. Wait up. Don't go so fast. I'm Robbie. What's yer name?" Robbie asked, leaning against a book bin.

When the blonde girl seemed spazz over Estelle, Robbie huffed a breath at the girl's interest in his best friend more than him. That was simultaneously disappointing and interesting.
