Greenview doesn't have a great reputation, but it's still a good start for a lot of people. It's about twenty minutes away from the center of Pilot Ridge (by car) and a half-hour from Hammel.

University of Vermont has a long-standing agreement with Hammel: A little bit more scholarship money, and each crop of students will have at least one person who can distinguish the school.

The University is a half-hour from Pilot Ridge, and 45 minutes from Hammel.

The LGBT Youth center is just on the edge of town. Dr. Sean Neville and Dr. Ben Rhodes are frequent volunteers.

A 24-hour greaser diner on the outskirts of Pilot Ridge with retro booths and a breakfast bar. It has an old-fashioned jukebox in the corner that plays a variety of 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s music. Their specials include burgers, waffles, and Salisbury steak. They are rumored to have the best pie in town.

Just outside of town, there is a big, open space reserved for a Farmer's Market in good seasons and a Flea Market in off-seasons.
