Liam and Logan were always glad to be spending time around Hammel. After all, this was the place that felt the most like home. Nothing against their family, but after spending so much time at a certain place, after growing and learning so much, it’s hard to think of Hammel as anything but home.
They were a little hesitant at first about helping out at the College and Career Fair. Not because they thought they wouldn’t be able to offer valuable information about the colleges in the area, or because they felt uncomfortable about talking with the students; but because they had been planning to spend the day at the Hammel Library instead doing research. So they had made a compromise.
While Liam watched the students walking around and waited to answer any questions they might have, Logan had his head in a book and busied himself taking notes. Being a gestalt had its advantages.
They had noticed the sisters, of course, and were debating talking to them once the fair was winding down.
It would be interesting to hear their experiences, Liam said, watching one of the women walking by.
Perhaps,Logan replied, not bothering to look up from the textbook. But maybe we should wait for a more convient time.
True. They do seem a little preoccupied.
And although neither of the brothers voiced the fact, they both were a little concerned about government involvement in meta life. That had never worked well in the history of the world.
So, how do the future minds of Pilot Ridge look?
Not particularly noteworthy. Logan answered watching the bored faces walking around. Maybe their time would have been better spent in the library.
