[/i]The easy S T U F F . . .Name: Naomi Eliana Green
Nickname: N/A
Age: Seventeen
Member Group: Student
Power(s): Magnetism Manipulation:
Naomi possesses the ability to manipulate Earth's electromagnetic field. The core of this ability revolves around repelling and attracting various metals. With extreme concentration, this has also yielded some rather abnormal results, including the ability to quickly repel herself or others from various metallic substances. However her ability requires an intense amount of concentration, and will often leave her irritable. Furthermore, she seems to always have a slightly accelerated magnetic field, meaning that technologies have a strong tendency toward failing around her. Watches have proven wholly incompatible. More development and research is suggested.

Patient A3005 was introduced into my care on January 23, 2011. Subject had exhibited antisocial behaviors and a superiority complex. Checked in by parents Reuben and Grace Green. One living sibling: Sophia Green. One sibling, deceased at birth. Parents had been concerned about daughter's behavior, wanted private sessions. Claimed that Patient A3005's recent behavior, including inflammatory speeches and assaulting students, were highly out of character and the sign of deeper disturbance. Agreed to take in patient.
Odd that Reuben Green, a known politician and Senatorial candidate is turning over his daughter for psychological evaluation. There seems to be something odd here. I admit, I took the case almost as much out of curiosity as the money. But the money is good. Too good.
Patient A3005 is sixteen years old. Born in London, England hospital during parents' stay for political trip. Lived first eight years in states, till shipped back overseas for extended stay in boarding school. During early years, showed exceptional intelligence, excelling in most academic fields. Also proved slightly above average in athletic functions as well. Would frequently go out of her way to “take control” of groups whenever allowed. Child seemed well adjusted.
So much of this is an obvious, blatant lie, likely conjured by money. According to records and Naomi's own testimony, she'd always felt superior to her other children. She's been reserved and withdrawn for several years. However, she did admit that the intelligence and drive to succeed were definitely true. In her own words “how else will I make myself a better leader?”
That statement should be more disturbing, given the intensity from the girl as she said that. Also, she seems to continually seek out leadership opportunities. Why? Because she wants control, more importantly, she claims it's to fix things...[/i]
First incident occurred around age of thirteen. It was then that Patient A3005 first exhibited her “meta ability.” During an argument with another student, A3005 lashed out, causing several nearby coins to fling at the other student involved. Minor injuries. Patient showed some remorse regarding the action. Parents not concerned.
Naomi has expressed remorse; she often does. She's made it perfectly clear that she'd rather not hurt anyone. It's just a necessary step in her path. The arguments generally involve human-meta relations.[/i]
Final incident occurred during school dance in fall of 2010. Patient had been attending Kocher haute école pour les surdoués per discovery of meta abilities, where the faculty had been informed of her previous attacks. She had been regularly seeing the school's psychologist, who developed much of the file and had believed that A3005 had been making progress.
However, A3005 had still been expressing anti-human sentiments. She would frequently lapse into derogatory statements regarding humans and their bungling attempts at running the world. The faculty and staff were actively working to discourage such behavior, and would often go out of their way to punish her. Frequently A3005 would find herself in detention or doing extra projects, most of which involved charity work with humans.
A3005, jealous at another student for apparently interfering with a romantic entanglement, lashed out once more with her powers. Apparently a “magnetic storm” swarmed throughout the dance hall, resulting in jewelry flying off people until it began attacking A3005's targets and several cohorts. Several were injured. No casualties. Extreme remorse shown from patient, leading to agreement to attend regular sessions. The Greens blamed the faculty and staff at Kocher for not being “alert” enough to stop their daughter's attack, and preceded to file for A3005'S transfer, along with contacting private psychologist.
Naomi wryly told me that her parents were attempting to use their prestige and wealth to cover up her actions. She claimed that the event at Kocher was exaggerated, and that the faculty and staff of the school had reacted quite quickly. In fact, according to her, the faculty had actually stopped her before she'd done more than light injuries to “human loving idiot” and her friends. Again, Naomi expressed remorse for hurting people. However, she claimed that they needed reminding, and that there actions weren't really accomplishing anything. She also informed me that she'd had a few other, less dramatic attacks, mostly against “human lovers,” a disturbing term.
It seems she frequently does that whenever she loses control. Not to mention whenever another meta is involved. This is a definite pattern and should be noted.[/i]
Patient's parents held up the transfer process for a few months, wanting to “rehabilitate” the girl yet. So A3005 was temporarily pulled from educational institutions, and a private tutor and psychologist were called. A3005 has shown positive reaction's to Dr. Lafayette's treatments, and it was the doctor's suggestion to send her to Hammel. As such, the girl's transfer was accelerated from her parents' plan and--
Naomi is highly intelligent. She's unfailingly polite, has a grasp on authority, and seems as physically fit as noticed earlier. When she first entered my offices, she was wearing a dress that cost about as much as I make in a year. Her hair had been pulled back, the brown waves carefully controlled. Yet there's amusement in those eyes.
For Naomi fully believes that humans are messing things up. You don't see it in these files, because the information has been “obscured.” But Naomi has no faith in humans or human government. She fully believes they are incapable of ruling, and that those with greater gifts should be in charge of things. This leads to the antisocial tendencies as expressed above.
Perhaps the most terrifying incident occurred when she walked in a few weeks into our sessions, baring a series of numbers tattooed on her arm. When pressed, Naomi said that they represented the reasons why humans needed to be “fixed.” It was a highly disturbing incident, though I'm also inclined to believe she's “acting out” some for attention...
Why isn't any of that in the file? Simple: if you're an aspiring politician, would you want the world knowing that your daughter harbors nearly genocidal tendencies? I only discovered most of these tendencies by asking questions and looking behind things. Yes, Naomi loses her temper and acts superior to those around her, which is why this record is filled with “minor altercations.” All these “altercations” revolve around her and other metas, or in the first case, her burgeoning powers. Furthermore, many of these attempts seemed connected to her family, possibly cries for attention?
Does this mean that Naomi is completely untreatable? I believe not. The frequent displays of remorse demonstrate that she does feel guilt for her actions. I have considered that they are simply that: displays for attention and for my benefit. However, Naomi has let her mask slip a time or two, and her eyes seemed different when she discussed her withdrawal from Kocher.
I send this file to Hammel, with my notes, with the help that Naomi can be rehabilitated. She wants to change the world. This is a positive trait. However, without control over her abilities and desires, she could very well become the kind of villain we've seen in comic books.
God, I can't believe I typed that sentence.
She's flawed. She's powerful. She's intelligent. But she's ultimately a human teenager, and they are never too far from redemption. I sincerely hope that whoever works with her at Hammel can reach her.
May God go with you.[/i]

Naomi's fingers danced in the air. To be wholly accurate, they were moving about as though she were conducting an orchestra. A loop, a dive, around and around. She might look crazy, if one didn't look less than a foot from her. There, several paperclips danced about, weaving and moving in and out from one another.[/blockquote]
It was the waiting room. They always had waiting rooms, and they never really quite seemed to realize that people actually waited in them. Someone had at least taken the time to make this more bearable than most. The seat wasn't the most uncomfortable thing that Naomi had ever sat in. There was a scattering of magazines about. Even a television perched on high, blaring out its message to anyone who bothered to look up.
Naomi didn't look up. She did look to the side though, staring at the door, contemplating for a few moments.
"...recently, several individuals were arrested for protesting meta-human treatment. Authorities insist that the men were unauthorized, and that had the protest been more official, then they would have been allowed to continue. Personally, I think that this yet another indication that there's a problem that needs to be controlled. These people need to be--"
A paper clip whizzed into the television screen. Naomi stared at the broken shards for a moment, before dusting herself off. It would have been easier to just touch, let the magnetic pulse destroy it in a more simpler, less dramatic fashion.
"That's what happens when you put your televisions on high," said Naomi. She turned, walking toward the door. Her session was beginning now, and it promised to be an interesting one.
