General Appearance:
Born a Greek, forever a Greek.Luke Pyrrhos comes from a long line of Greek lineage, on both his mother's and father's sides. This gives him naturally darker skin complication, dark brown, wavy hair, and striking blue eyes, a recessive trait on his mother's side of the family, and the first thing his father, Mateo, noticed in his mother, Agalia.
Nearly an adult at eighteen years of age, Luke has learned what it means to be responsible, at least to an extent with his powers. He knows that he must stay in the best of shape to make sure he has enough stamina to not become too fatigued by his control of fire. When he had first begun, he would always become tired after lighting something on fire, whether he had meant to or not. But now that he had sorted out some form of discipline through arduous work outs, he is fit, muscular, and able to control his abilities at a much higher rate than when he first began.
Personality:Greeks are not always known for their patience and lovable characteristics. Although his mother was a sweetheart down to the bone, his father could bring out the fiery side (no pun intended) of her, and when that happened, no power in the Pyrrhos family could cure her from the flames of anger. Luke quickly learned not to anger his mother without threat of undeniable rage as a result.
But his father was no angel either. In fact, his father's side were quite the debaters, the arguers, and downright hot-headed people. Even the women were no exception to this rule. But with a balance in his household growing up, Luke did escape many of the fights through protection from his mother. Unfortunately, what comes with genetics would stay with him forever.
When his power manifested at the age of fifteen, hormones also kicked in, creating quite the disastrous scene. It was normal for the emergency number to be on speed dial, just in case Luke -or his father- decided to rage and burn down part of the house, car, etc. Hormones seemed to be amplified as Luke went through this phase, making it even harder for him to keep his cool. He would be angry, always quick to fight, sometimes looking for an argument. It certainly wasn't healthy whatsoever. But after being discovered by recruiters at Hammel, and attending the school for a few years, trainers have been able to cool down his spirit enough for him to have a normal life, well, as normal as it could be when you're a meta-human who can create fire out with a snap of his fingers.

History
Όμορφες ακτές της Ελλάδας
Greece. The land of a thousand tales of bravery, lust, passion, and heroism. The land of fishermen, those who brave fierce seas to bring home bounties of fish for harvest and sold at noisy, bustling markets. A place rich in culture, unwavering into the modern world, remaining beautiful and rich with family and tradition.
Luke Liander Pyrrhos was born in Paros, Greece, a small fishing island in the Aegean Sea. Life was simple there, and every day was a new reason to celebrate life and the fortune of the sea. At a very young age, Luke was taught how to fish, sailing out with his Papu nearly every day, since the age of five. He was a natural, and by the age of twelve, he was bringing home food for the family and for the rest of the village when there was a surplus; enough to go around for everyone plus one.
Luke's older sister, Alexandria was a typical older sister, a play mate during their juvenile years, a pain in the tweens and early teens, but as they matured, they became closer and closer, inseparable. That's how it was with the entire family, in fact. Everyone had their quarrels from time to time, especially with the certain hot-headed individuals in the house, but overall, they were family, οικογένεια, and would never give that up for anything in the world.
All seemed good and well for the Pyrrhos'. Mateo was a fisherman, just like Luke was learning how to be one as well. Alexandria had a job down at the tailors, hemming clothing for a minimum wage, but Agalia was without a job, which, although it was not unusual in such an environment, she still felt unsatisfied. She longed to work in the most convenient of fields, considering the location, hospitality management, but that required an eduction that she had yet to obtain. So she kept her worries to herself until it was coming the time for Alexandria to get a good and proper education. Agalia knew good and well that Dria always wanted to go to school overseas, her travel lust beckoning her to other horizons. So craftily, their mother worked a way into moving overseas, voicing that 'an international education would be the best for Alexia'. Despite their sadness for losing an essential part of their family, there could be nothing else to do but say goodbyes and relocate to Miami, Florida.
Within the next season, Alexia was attending the University of Miami for an Art degree. Because she was a non-powered member of the family, she had no need to go and attend a school that was specifically for the meta-human race. She would be able to go about her skills freely and enjoy all that college had to offer.
But Luke was not so fortunate. With all of this sudden change, his body didn't know exactly how to react to such a difference. He started to become angry, and very hot-headed, maybe even more so than his father. His sister and mother would blame it on puberty, but Mateo knew better, going through the same exact situation himself years ago. Purposefully, he angered his son on a much more frequent occasion, just to speed up the process, he hoped. That way, Luke would be able to go to a school for powered students, and become normal again. Or at least learn how to control his powers, and attitude before he came back and rejoined the family once more.
With just a bit of tugging of his ever so short chain one afternoon, Luke's father started off on how Luke wasn't helping this family, how he was slacking by sitting around the house all day, refusing to get a job and help this family stay alive. He even went as far as to say he was becoming a disappointment. With that, Luke lost it, jumping up, heaving and consequently, setting the couch aflame.
Despite the fact that they now had to buy a new couch, Mateo had gotten what he was aiming for, and sure enough, within a few days, men in fancy suits who called themselves 'Representatives for Hammel' came by the doorstep. Mateo was more than relieved, and within a total of three days later, Luke had walked his first steps on Hammel Institute's campus, his first step to becoming 'a better, stronger man'.
He has been here at Hammel for three and a half years now, and much has changed. He's not very hot-headed at all, much less than his father, and he's learned quite a bit about controlling his skills, although he's far from graduating. He still enjoys immature things, like setting random objects on fire, or getting into small quarrels with other guys who share the same need for competition as he does. He knows that he's got to fix these things, but at this rate, he loves Hammel, and wouldn't want to go anywhere else. So why should he try so hard to graduate? Hammel is where the fun is at.
