Teegan's gotten very good at what she calls dream hopping, basically, she's made herself able to interrupt someone's dream, and project herself into it. She takes these moments to give them the best dream adventure possible. Sometimes, she does it to play a prank on her friends. Usually, it doesn't last very long, a half hour completely tired her our for a solid five hours. After doing all of this, Teegan's absolutely exhausted.

General Appearance:

Teegan has a peculiar sense of style. She knows what she likes and refuses to allow other people to shop for her. Her style, however, changes according to the season. For the fall she tends to dress very boho-chic. Baggy shirts and short jean shorts tend to clutter her closet. She's the same girl that likes to wear oversized Christmas sweaters and spandex leggings in the winter. When spring rolls around, she likes to pull out every bright color she could possibly own, however, she will never wear pink unless forced upon her by her. When summer rolls around, she falls back into her boho-chic pattern, throwing in her abundance of bathing suits.

She's a very well kept girl, she understands hygiene and the importance of a shower, she knows what to do to give her long brown hair the perfect casual messy look. Teegan spends a lot of time on the beach, which explains her sun kissed tan which she obtained while tanning nude, to avoid tan lines.

Teegan maintains a slim body due to her athletic nature. She carries herself well, due to her dance training, however, she is not as obviously poised as most dancers. She's more likely to run then to walk, and she tends to bounce when she walks.

Personality: Teegan likes to describe herself as a work of art. Now, by no means is Teegan in love with herself, but she worked hard to look good, and she is damn proud of the way she looks. A ball of energy wouldn't be able to keep up with Teegan on a regular day. Teegan is one of the most impulsive girls one could know. She's like the Energizer bunny, she goes and goes and goes and never seems to stop. She's the kind of girl who will walk down the hallway and suddenly stop and turn to go off on a different route as she pleases. She's got a very athletic nature to her, her mother forced her to learn how to surf at a young age.

That being said, Teegan tends to attempt to hide her vulnerability. She was raised by a lesbian couple, who loved her very much. However, that didn't stop kids at school from making fun of her. Being extremely opinionated, Teegan always bit back quite quickly. She has a short temper fuse, and has been known to fly off the handle quite often when things don't go the way she wants them to. She has a short attention span and gets incredibly frustrated when people don't immediately understand what she's talking about. Teegan tries very hard to control herself, but most of the time she doesn't think things through before doing them.

When Teegan's upset, it's like the world has come crashing down. She doesn't cry often, but when she does it's because she's been really hurt by someone. When she gets hurt, she crawls into bed and refuses to come out for several days, perhaps that's why she refuses to allow people to be close to her vulnerability, because hiding under your blankets for three days is not a fun activity.

Often, Teegan was thought to be a hypomanic, most often by her bi-polar mother. This is described as being a persistent and pervasive euphoric or irritable mood, this is the general cause of Teegan's spontaneity. As a side effect of this, Teegan also experiences hyper-sexuality. However, Teegan is by no means a slut. She simply has a lack of inhibitions regarding her sex life. She isn't afraid to prance around naked, or simply inform anyone when she's turned on. But, Teegan only sleeps with one or two guys, she has her booty calls, whom she's known quite well. If they aren't available, Teegan will pleasure herself by herself.

Furthermore, Teegan adores the concept of being able to interrupt the dreams of others. She has absolutely no self control, so this often causes Teegan to get herself into a mess around other people. She just doesn't think about consequences, to be frank, she just doesn't think.

Strengths:
Teegan's good at a lot of things. She is a trained jazz dancer, and she loves dancing, and she's good at dancing. She's a joy to be around, she's good at cheering people up, and she's really good at leading someone on an adventure. She's really good at breaking people out of their shells, and just making sure that they get the most out of life. She's also good at baking cakes, when she follows the instructions.
Weaknesses:
Teegan doesn't know when to keep her mouth shut. She isn't the most academic, she has a terrible time paying attention in class, or following the schedule or being on time for meetings. She doesn't really understand why people make schedules and plans, and it tends to get her in trouble. Teegan has a problem letting people in, which often makes people see her as one dimensional. People don't get to see the vulnerable side of Teegan, they only get to see the happy, bubbly side, and the short fuse side. Nothing to make Teegan seem human.

Fears:
Teegan's scared to have her lifestyle taken away from her. She's scared to see a therapist because if he medicates her, she might not get to have the fun she's having, and that suddenly makes life more terrifying. She's also scared of being alone.

Secret: Honestly, Teegan has no secrets she tells everyone everything that goes on in her life. Her secret is that Teegan sucks at keeping her own secrets.

History

Teegan was born to Lana and Samantha Valcourt. Lana was her birth mother, she had been artificially inseminated. She is the eldest of two girls, but they are only two years apart from each other. Teegan had a very happy childhood. Her parents gave her everything she needed, there was no abuse or trauma in her life.

When Teegan started to go to kindergarten she was alienated from her peers, not by the kids, but by their parents. It was as though the parents that that homosexuality was contagious, and if any of the kids were to go to Teegan's house, they would catch this supposed disease. People thought she was different, and most people didn't like different. Eventually, people's opinions started to change, Teegan's first best friend was a boy named Zack, she grew up with him, and he was the only person outside her family to grow close to her.

Unlike most kids, Teegan had a very close relationship with her younger sister Phoebe. The family in general was incredibly close, Teegan loved Phoebe, especially to play dress up as young kids, and put on fake dance recitals for their parents. At the age of five, Teegan began to take dance classes. She was trained in jazz, and she competed in competitions, and she was one of the best in her class. At her competitions she usually took one of the top three positions, and she has a shelf at home with her awards.

Teegan has never been overly hurt, but she has adopted a fear of being hurt. In second grade, she and her friends began to give funerals to ants, just because they seemed lonely and forgotten. She went home one day after school, and she sat in her room, and she thought of just how lonely the ants were, and it thoroughly upset her. She curled up in her bed and sobbed for several hours for these little creatures who die and are forgotten. Phoebe was quick to curl up with Teegan and hug her and help cheer her up, but Teegan remained perpetually scared of that emotion.

When Teegan turned 11 she was having a sleepover with her friends for her birthday. She had troubles sleeping that night, but she felt as though she had gone on a hundred different adventures, and she remembered them all so vividly. The next day, all the girls spoke of their dreams, and Teegan could recite almost everyone back to them. After the girls left, Teegan crawled into bed, absolutely exhausted. She slept for fourteen hours, and when she awoke, she was still complaining about being exhausted. Sam, being the paranoid mother she is, brought Teegan to the hospital for blood testing just to be sure. The blood test proved that Teegan was in fact a meta, and the entire family met with the recruiters to set Teegan up with a transfer.

Now, at sixteen, Teegan's been at the school for five years. She keeps in regular contact with her family, and keeps up with training. The concept of pushing herself into other people's thoughts excites her, she does it with out thinking, much like anything else she does. Teegan's an average student with a limited attention span, but is happily getting a long with most people. She keeps up with her dance, and surfs occasionally, when she has the opportunity. Most of all, she basically happy.

Teegan did have a conversation with Lana at the age of fifteen regarding her irresponsible behavior. Lana expressed her worry that Teegan was mentally ill, and basically begged her to see a therapist. However, Teegan, being entirely happy with the way her life was, refused. Teegan liked to take opportunities when they were there, because she didn't want to miss an opportunity and then forever miss an adventure. She argued with her mother, because she didn't want life to change. She wanted to keep it the way it was, and she won. She never went to see the therapist, she never got medicated.

So Teegan will continue to live her life, the way SHE wants to live it.
