General Appearance: Generally, Celli wears neatly pressed khakhis or black slacks paired with a nice blouse going to class. On the weekends, she tends towards flowing skirts and bright colors. When dancing with Reece to teach, she wears yoga pants and a sports tank. Her dark hair is worn long, although if she’s working hard on a project or dancing a lot with Reece, it can be found in a ponytail. Celli doesn’t wear a lot of makeup unless she’s competing in a dance competition.
For dance competitions, Celli puts on bright costumes and deep makeup. Everything about the costumes is opposite her normal demeanor. Where it is loud, bright and slightly over the top, she is quiet, subdued and rational. She loves the competitions and dancing with Reece and the high she gets from winning competitions.
Generally, Celli is put together, and rarely looks frazzled. She works hard to make sure that she presents a good appearance to the outside world. When she does look frazzled, its generally because something is going wrong in her life and stressing her out.
Personality: Celli is passionate about her work and dancing. She loves what she does and enjoys learning about the other powers people have and how to help them control it. When something isn’t going well, she gets frustrated easily and her temper tends to manifest. For example, if she can’t find an answer why something isn’t working the way it is supposed to, or if she can’t find a solution to a problem, her temper flares. She is quick to anger when frustrated, although she is equally quick to apologize after.
Dancing makes her feel beautiful and sexy, and Reece magnifies that feeling. He makes her feel like the most special and precious person in the world. She is utterly devoted to him, and although she did the breaking up, has been trying to figure out how to get him back since that fateful day.
She is generally friendly, but somewhat reserved. Once she gets to know you, she’s outgoing and sweet. She tends to look at things with a rational mindset. Celli has a close circle of friends and a larger circle of acquaintances. She is kind to the students, enjoying teaching them how to dance.

History
Aracelli grew up with a meta father and a normal mother. Her father travelled all over Europe as a recruiter for Kocher. While he was home more than he was gone, it still left Maria to raise the small children by herself. Since their father was a meta, the children were all tested as they reached puberty, with only Aracelli and her sister, Isabella coming up positive. Both girls were sent to Kocher for training. Celli spent three years training and learning how to use her power of suppression. Although she gained control, it was a hard fought battle. She gets extremely exhausted if she blocks powers, leaving her unable to do much of anything for 24 to 48 hours. If she only weakens the power, she is tired but it doesn’t have quite the same lasting effect.
In her spare time, she began dancing. It was done in the hopes that improving her fitness level and toning would help fight some of the exhaustion from the training. Soon, she fell in love with it, and began to learn the art of ballroom dancing exclusively. She had several partners and did some touring in the European circuit, but never excelled as compared to others.
When she wasn’t dancing or training, she could be found with a book in hand, learning about the different powers and how they could be used to help people. As she read more and discovered how some of the powers were used, she became more focused on those with involuntary and more un-noticeable powers like hers. She was allowed to do some research at Kocher, but not much while still a student. When she graduated, she was allowed to do more research, in a volunteer capacity, helping with Gestalt twins already going to Kocher.
After a year of working at Kocher, she applied to the University of Vermont near Hammel, in the hopes of eventually getting a research position at the school. With the blessing of her parents, she moved to America and began her new life at university. She's studying psychology and biology in hopes of helping to locate those metas with harder to detect powers. While blood tests were common, sometimes metas were born to those who weren’t, and if their powers were quiet, like hers, they could go undetected for some time. Celli is interested in helping those who slipped through the cracks, and finding them sooner will enable Hammel to do that.
She quickly found Reece’s dance studio and gathered her courage to ask if he was looking for a partner. They began dancing together that day, and have only perfected their chemistry and grace in the four years since. Two years ago, they were practicing for a competition and their eyes met, and they kissed. A romantic relationship developed that both fell headlong into. At the beginning of their relationship, Reece had released some butterflies, and Celli had kept that memory with her. She’d had to weaken his illusions a few times, and then they finally agreed to not use their powers on each other and carefully constructed a relationship.
Aracelli fell in love, and about a month ago, made the mistake of telling Reece. They fought, and in the heat of the argument, she broke up with him. A little over two weeks ago, she had a small butterfly tattooed on her left hip, to remind her of the hope that she had that they would reunite. She remains his partner, and they are training for Nationals, a competition they hope to win this year. Celli plans on getting him back, and won’t give up on that dream.
Roleplay Example
A long, lean leg encased in purple cloth stretched out over the wooden floor of the sun-washed dance studio. The svelte body leaned over the leg, tanned skin falling forward before the purple tank top followed. Dark hair pooled on the floor and then slowly reversed course as she came back up. Aracelli rose up slowly from the wooden floor and finished the stretching routine that was a routine for her. It was late afternoon, and Celli had been careful to come to the studio when she knew that Reece wouldn't be there.
Although it had been a month since the breakup, things were still tentative between them. The first few days had been hard, but they'd fallen back into the friendship that had been built the first two years of their partnership. Celli looked up as she began to practice the steps of the dance that she and Reece were putting together for Nationals. It was still a long way off, but there were numerous competitions between now and then to get through. As her feet moved, her mind wandered, and a small smile slipped across red lips. She recalled the first time they'd danced together, falling into a natural rhythm. It was almost as if they'd been made to dance together.
Celli wasn't as good as Reece, but she learned quickly. They'd been dancing in competitions within six months, and winning smaller ones within nine. In four years together, the only one they couldn't win was Nationals, but they were going to this year. They had a killer routine, and the edge their sorrow and anger had added to their dancing was only helping. They couldn't lose, not this year. And when they won, she'd propose to Reece, and hope he accepted. He was gun shy, and it was a problem. If she hadn't spilled out the fact that she loved him, perhaps they wouldn't be broken up right now. But she would get him back.
Her dancing stopped. She stared at herself in the mirror, deep breaths making her rib cage expand and contract. Slender hands settled on her hips and she sighed softly. Those thoughts were not helping anything, and Celli was not going to allow them to color her day. No, she was going to make sure that she got Reece back.
