Of Crypts and Coffins [Sidra]

Meet Sidra
Gothic.
Moody.
Judgmental.
Teenager.

Though the latter makes the middle two redundant.

She's been at Hammel for about two months now, her parent's divorce has been settled and the mother and the lover have moved out to California rather than stay on the East coast and be close to the one child who'd been “sent away” to “learn” and “adjust.” Sidra resents it, and lost a lot of respect for her father, whom she loves dearly.

In two months time she's managed to keep mostly to herself, avoid other people, and brood like the good little goth she is. Little by little she's coming out of her broody shell (admittedly she hates serious brooding, and is quite sick of herself for it. Nevermind she feels like there's every reason in the world to brood presently.)

So! What I'm looking for for Sidra are the usual suspects; Friends, the Not-So-Friendly, Folks-Who-Want-Corsets, Teacher/Mentor.

I would sign Sean up for a person who wants a corset, but he'd never live it down.

If you need a mentor, Sean is available. I see that you have Sidra threading with L.C. who is on her want to becoming one of Sean's ducklings - although I'm sure she wouldn't want to hear that phrase - so that's one in. He also likes making himself available.

And he speaks German, so they have that in common.

I'm not sure how Sidra would take to Sean. He *is* nice, and she's not. The German thing, though, would def be something she'd be surprised about. Perhaps she shouldn't be, but you know how teens are, yes? Yes.

I have this lovely mental image of her cursing at him in German and being all "well crap" when he responds in the same language.

I know I want a thread with Sean prior to my Chatango PM to you about what Dry and I discussed.

I have a confession. I adore Elle's profile. I think because of the descriptor of "gutless" Sidra would try to toughen Elle up, and they could swap occult books and theories! And since Si dresses and wants so very much to be un-dead (she's very picky about the type of undead though. None of this newfangled oh-so-misunderstood undeath.)

Tate is in pretty much the same boat as Sidra, if you're interested? She's been there an ambiguous amount of time that I haven't really established, but basically, if I had to sum her up: newbie-newb-still-in-powers-denial-noob. Okay, the actual summary would be more "Genderqueer Retrocognitive Amnesiac-in-Training", but hopefully you get the idea. They can bond over family drama or love of horror stories (although admittedly Tate leans heavily towards video games and comic books as compared to novels) if you like?

Craven: Sidra's not really the 'moan' type so much as she is the 'throw things' type. But we can definitely see what happens when they come face to face. With him having been around, and her having been around for a bit at least, it's likely that they'll have seen each other, probably heard stories... I will be back soon and we can set something up if you aren't too swamped.

Tate: Sounds fun if Tate can get past Sidra's prickly exterior. Deep down she's really... an elitist bitch? But there's definately some stuff in Tate that will remind her of her brother. Namely the "being in your business" all the time thing. That just makes me happy. As I mentioned, I'll be back soon and would love to set something up if you're not already swamped.
