Calling all members! We need your nominations for the Of The Month awards! Have you seen an awesome character lurking the forums? How about a thread you just can’t stop reading? Or a journal you keep coming back to? Nominate it here! We’re looking for nominations for all categories:

Character of the Month – Straightforward. Nominate your favourite character from Hammel. As of now, November Adams, Willow Kovacs, Adam Collier, Camelia Bell, Ashleigh Cruz, Gabriel Underwood, Horus Richmond, Emma Cousins, Zachary Brahmen, Misato Hazukashi, and Anya Vasiliev are all off limits, as they’ve won in the past four months.

Member of the Month – Again, pretty easy, right? Toss up the name of your favourite member. Remember, Shea can’t win this time around, nor can Sean or Kaitlyn (Lynx).

Relationship of the Month – Anything goes here! Friends, romance, enemies, anything! The exceptions to the rules are:
James and Chase – Romantic (March winners)
Gabriel and Jesse – Teacher/Protégé (April winners)
James and Adam – Exes (May winners)
The Idiot Brigade (Sam, Horus, Vincent, and November) – Best Friends (June Winners)

Thread of the Month – Any and all threads that were started after the last round of OTMs are eligible!

Journal of the Month – Nominate any journal you want, except for James’ journal, Sean’s journal, and Chase’s journal.

Nomination Category: Character of the Month
Nomination: Morgan Tonaya
Reasons: Mainly because I want Morgan to exist for real, so I could steal him and keep him captive for cuddling purposes. Seriously though, I love Morgan. I smile when he's happy (which is most of the time) and I feel bad when he's upset. Include the fact that he's a total dork and I'm sold. <3

Nomination: Tony
Reasons: Um, why NOT? He has not only made the site which we all know and love so much, but he has a broad range of characters that I do so enjoy stalking (or kidnapping in the case of Levi.) Tony works so hard to keep the site together and makes it fun for all of us, so he deserves plenty of appreciation for all that he does.

Nomination Category: Relationship of the Month
Nomination: Sam and Germaine (Friends? God, someone get Gerri some ear plugs.)
Reasons: It makes me cringe and giggle at the same time. So it's no secret that I am a huge Sammy fan, but putting him with Gerri is possibly the worst idea ever... and so very amusing. Gerri is adorable, Sam is a horrible influence, and this can only lead to insanity. (And I can't wait for more! <3)

Nomination: Dear James, Advice Please?
Reasons: It's a combination of two of my other nominations! Whee! Reading this thread has successfully cheered me up on numerous occasions. James is always fun to read and I can feel Morgan's nervousness and I always got so excited whenever I noticed it was updated.

Nomination: Chez
Reasons: <.< She didn't win last month when I nominated her? XD

I have real reasons too. Chez is SO special (and I mean that in the nice way, not the "oh sweety you're just...special" kind of way). She's herself all the time in the C-box, even if that means boob-flashes, sexy dances, and announcements that she has to go to the toilet. Some people may think she's brash, but I love it! I think she really speaks to the comfort we all feel with each other here at Hammel :3

Also...Once upon a time Chez took Hammel with her to the toilet. The End.

Nomination: Sidra Cotton
Reasons: If I ever met Sidra in real life, I'd probably punch her. In my mind, thats a really good thing. Sidra is a realistic "gothic" character, something you really don't see much of in the RP universe. I love everything about her: Her PB, her power, and her player, Urchin. Hopefully Sidra will stick around with us for a while and continue to diversify Hammel.

Nomination: The Talk
Reasons: Its a huge scale, party!post style, mahem and madness-type good time. I roll on the floor almost every time I read this thread. Its brought together characters who'd never go near each other, and revealed dynamics in relationships we're already familiar with. Sean is GOLDEN as the presenter, and I really just want The Talk to go on forever.

Nomination: Jake/Morgan
Reasons: Generally I try not to nominate any thread/journal/relationship/whatever that is partially constructed of my character, but I just can't resist. There is NO RESISTING Jake/Morgan. They're sugary, disgustingly sweet affection just kind of stumbled out of no where and I LOVE IT SO MUCH. It makes my toes curl whenever they're together.

What I think really cinches this pairing for me though, is that everyone knows what is actually in store for them. The fact that i KNOW they won't have a happy ending makes my heart ache even harder for these two. While I know how their story ends, I always look forward to reading/writing the story as it goes along. This is one Fairy Tale I'm proud to be a part of :3

Ooh some things/people I was going to nom have already been, but I still have a couple of ideas.

Nomination: Rae
Reasons: This was a really difficult choice because everybody's been so utterly lovely and welcoming and there's about six people I'd nominate if I could, but Rae's just so bright and fun and lovely and she really brightens the place up when she's around. <3

Nomination: Zachary Drake LaRousse
Reasons: I think he's a lot of fun, I've run into him in a couple of threads and his posts usually give me at least a bit of a giggle, he's a fun character and I look forward to reading much more from him.

Reasons: I still want to hug her for her troubles, and for the meltdown that she's having in the middle of the Talk. The poor girl.

Reasons: She's creative and friendly, and has such an ecclectic knowledge base. Conversations are always wonderful when she's online.
