Calling all members! We need your nominations for the Of The Month awards! Have you seen an awesome character lurking the forums? How about a thread you just can’t stop reading? Or a journal you keep coming back to? Nominate it here! We’re looking for nominations for all categories:

Character of the Month – Straightforward. Nominate the character you think deserves it for this month. Who was awesome? Who did something significant? As of now, Nu's, Herl's, Fate's, and Bre's characters are all off limits, as they’ve won in the past four months.

Member of the Month – Again, pretty easy, right? Toss up the name of your favorite member. Remember, James, Fate, Sara/Lugia, and Cat are off-limits for nominations

Relationship of the Month – Anything goes here! Friends, romance, enemies, anything! The exceptions to the rules are:
Evan and Levi - Dating/Timewarp Drama
Odion and Rhett- Friendship/Budding Romance
Mason and Sam - Friendship
The Meta Alliance - Superhero Team

Thread of the Month – Any and all threads that were started after the last round of OTMs are eligible!

Journal of the Month – We will not be nominating for Journal OTM this month. All eligible journals will be included in the poll in four days.

Nomination Category: Member of the Month.
Nomination: Angel (angelsonggd).
Reasons: Angel is amazing. Her characters are never the same, each one bringing something new and exciting that makes threading with her extremely enjoyable and rather unpredictable. Not only that, but she’s super nice too. I talk a lot and she’s always there to let me ramble on and on about stuff. And let’s not forget the awesome hordepeople she brought along with her when she stumbled upon Hammel. Hammel’s never been more exciting!

Nomination: Howell Chilton.
Reasons: I have never stalked a character like I am currently doing for Howell right now. The dude is a gold mine for extremely memorable quotes! Beret just writes this spastic blonde so great that I am almost always laughing as I move from paragraph to paragraph. It’s amazing. ^_^.

Nomination: Cobalt&Ben – WILL YOU JUST SHUT UP AND GET MARRIED NOW PLEASE? On/Off Romance.
Reasons: I seriously think these two didn’t have such drama-filled teenage years and thus are compensating for it late in their lives. Seriously. Whenever I get wind of a post-volley between Nu and Kayla on CoBen, I really refresh that ‘Newest Threads’ page every five minutes or so. And this thread, short as it may be, broke my heart. ><. I will forever be a CoBen fan, even though I think Coby should really get rid of his pedobear mustache. –nodnod-

Reasons: Since when did watching a movie actually mean watching a movie? Everyone knows that when it’s offered to people you like, it actually means we’ll-get-a-boring-movie-and-cuddle-up-on-the-couch-and-who-knows-what-after-instead right? RIGHT? Anyway, I really love Henry/Estelle. They’re just so adorkable. And that whole dilemma about making the first move since it might ruin the friendship is soo amazing. Very realistic, I think. Kudos to Kayla and Sara for this one. ;).

Reasons: I was actually attracted to this thread by the number of views it had, and after I was, I could see why people were stalking it. Mason and Sevanna are sweet on their own, and together they're adorable and a little terrifying to passerby. I look forward to seeing what happens next!

Reasons: Let's face it. Zac makes every thread he enters more fun just by being his goofy, snobby, usually drunk, self. And just when you think he's going to be a jerk, he surprises you by being a real sweetheart (when he's drunk of course...).

Reasons: Because he's the most adorable thing to ever adorable. Additionally, he somehow strikes the balance between being childlike and mature, enthusiastic but not annoying, naive but not stupid. He's a genuine person that I wish I knew in real life.

Nomination: Avi/Lucy- kinda/sorta romance?
Reasons: AWWWW. :3 Avi does not know what to do about the Feelings, and Lucy is adorable. It makes me smile.

Nomination: Gregory Strickland
Reasons: I admit freely that I put up the character request for him. That said, Bre has done everything I imagined with Greg and more, bringing him to life and getting him involved in the game with a careful and dynamic balance of charisma and grief. I'm lucky enough to be in two threads with him right now, and I read all of his threads because I love this character.

Nomination: Cuppy
Reasons: Cuppy is new but she has already learned the dynamics of Hammel. Not only the dynamics in game, but also she's managed to navigate the insanity of our Out of Character canon which, at times, is more confusing and involved than Hammel canon itself. She's extremely friendly and nice, and she talks to everyone in the C-Box. Additionally, I like her characters and she is a good plotter, which is extremely important.

Nomination: Danny Silverman and Janice Adams - What is this skeevy guy doing with my brother?!?!?!?!
Reasons: This might not count as a real relationship, but Janice's suspicion of Danny's character and intentions in the Holiday Bash thread make me laugh. Particularly since I support Danny and Riley's relationship and at the same time play the character who did have a one-night stand with Danny within days of his move to Pilot Ridge. And Danny has no idea of what is to be unleashed. I know that Janice will calm down eventually, but until then I want to get my full entertainment.

Nomination: It Shines Through Somehow
Reasons: Estelle and Henry are sweet, awkward, and geeky in this thread, which makes me smile. I've enjoyed reading their interactions as they've developed in game and I look forward to seeing as they continued to develop. Also, I enjoyed how Estelle is seemingly unaware of Fifi's past, as is Henry, so she's mentioned just as a nice girl to watch cartoons with. Sometimes life at Hammel isn't complicated, and it's nice to see that.

Nomination: Darkness Is a Harsh Word, Don't You Think
Reasons: Let's see if I can articulate the numerous reasons I love this thread.

First, it shows Sean wielding his memory manipulation directly and shows the actual process, and how cool is that? There's a trip into Cobalt's mind which includes all sorts of symbolism, some blatant and some less so.

Second, this thread is the culmination of, well, pretty much Cobalt's entire story up until now. He's opened up enough to trust Sean, who is one of his least favorite people and the incident with Danny that has been referenced in numerous threads and in his journal and which has kept him at a distance in intimate relationships is finally being dealt with.

Who can argue with serious character development?
