TIME WARP: Who knew?

After wiping Robbie-slobber off his nose, JD went into the back room and flopped onto one of the couches. It was short--his legs hung off the end and his head was cramped up awkwardly, but it felt good to be lying down again. "Glad to hear it," he informed Zac when the billionaire professed his hatred. "Wouldn't want you getting to spoiled."
When Robbie tossed him the bag he managed to catch it against his chest and fumbled through it, pulling out the bathrobe and some pajama bottoms. Seeing Zac's cape and underwear combo as well as the hoodie and bottoms Robbie had chosen for himself, he silently congratulated the blond. While JD wasn't exactly happy about being known as Superman, he'd gotten used to it and could stand to wear Kryptonite-themed clothing from time to time. So long as he didn't have to put on a cape or tights or anything, he was fine. On the other hand, Zac would adore his cape and jump around everywhere thinking he could fly, even if Batman can't actually fly.
"Sure thing, Zac. Robbie loves you better. Except I'm the one who got slippers." There are no slippers in the bag. But if JD pretended there were slippers, Zac might be more jealous. That was always more fun for the speedster.
JD shuffled into the bathroom with his new sleepwear. "Fine, I'll go first. You have exactly five minutes to think up whatever you're planning to do. Better hurry up!"
He showered quickly and rinsed the chocolate out of his hair, then dried off and slipped into his new clothes. When he opened the door, he pushed it open with his foot so that if anything was waiting for him outside the doorway he wouldn't actually be hit. Then he ran out quickly and dove onto one of the sofas again.
"Okay, I'm done. Richie Rich's turn now. And I'm going to sleep." In spite of the fact that he knew the first person to fall asleep at a slumber party was the one who got pranked, he was just too tired to try to stay awake too much longer. With luck, everyone else would be tired as well and he wouldn't end up with a mohawk or anything of that nature.
He was just about to drift off completely when the television came on, loud enough to wake him up again and force him to sit up and rub his eyes.
"What. The hell. Is this?" he asked slowly, looking around.
