Thread Roulette: Coffee Shop Alphabet

There's been a bit of a mix-up with coffee orders. Sorry, Anastasia van Drakke, Reece Turner, Ethan White, and Ann Hudgins.

Rules: Each piece of dialogue must start with the next letter of the alphabet. The first person starts with the given letter, and then the next person uses the next letter to start their character's words.

First to post has to start dialogue with the letter V.

[Reece Turner]

"Very funny! Ya trying to kill me?!"
Reece returned to the counter where he'd recieved his drink from. It wasn't a straight coffee though. It was rather a nasty little drink full of cream and Reece hated cream. He needed to keep his figure sleek and slim. He'd actually just come from a dance practice and had decided to stop for a drink of coffee instead so he could wake up a bit more before returning home so he could go jogging. Reece was teasing the waitress behind the counter however.

She shook his head, explaining that she had mixed up his drink and that someone else had taken his. She mentioned that maybe whoever it was was still here or would come back to exchange drinks with him causing Reece's eyes to search the area waiting for whomever it was to come and annouce that they were missing their heart attack express and had gotten fat burner instead. Maybe he'd point that out when whoever it was came up to him.

[Ethan White]

“Will you tone it down? Please? Making a scene is the last thing you want to do around here dude,” said Ethan, giving what seems like a hysterical man a firm pat on the shoulder, his face completely unimpressed. He’s worked in a local coffee shop before and thus, knows firsthand how irritating it is, on the part of the barista, to have someone throw a fit just because of a misplaced coffee.

He also knows how satisfying it is to slightly add something vile inappropriate should the patron come back some other time. His fingers and toes wouldn’t be enough to count all those times he secretly spat on a crazy guy’s drink.

Turning to the frazzled staff, he gave her a weak smile and lifted his own cup, hoping it’d be enough of an indication that they messed his too. He ordered one of their specialty lattes – an eggnog mocha one – with just a drizzle of caramel on it, and what he got is anything but.
