Aki sat at one of the high stools in the Starbucks holding a chai tea latte. She wouldn’t TOUCH Starbucks coffee but the latte she had steaming in her hand before her was to die for. It was made with such good tea, and with whole milk instead of two percent like most people took it. HA she needed all the calories she could get a hold of with how active she was. In fact, she was due for a bit of free running soon here, but of course, that could wait until later. Her mission now was one she was very familiar with, but slightly unfamiliar with at the same time.
She silently hoped that Dani had gotten her email and wondered if the other prankster even went online. Aki was constantly online late at night and if anyone bothered to look at the time stamp on her emails they’d notice over time how much of her night she spent online. When she was younger she liked to spend the late evening outside with a couple of her friends at a nearby park free running across the playgrounds, skate park and other oddments and buildings there. Now she didn’t always have that option seeing as she either had homework [which usually went ignored anyway] or other things to do. So night time seemed good to catch up on what was going on the net.
Aki glanced at her watched impatiently, the seconds ticking louder in her mind than they actually were ticking the tiny clock. Timing was everything to the mischief-maker and she was usually annoyed when things weren’t timed right. However, today she was trying to keep her annoyance, temper, and general sarcastic-ness tempered to an even keel. This was one of her friends after all and she didn’t want to be rude just because that’s how she was to everyone [with one or two exceptions of course, because we all know there are exceptions to the rules.] Still, slight annoyance flared. She couldn’t help it!
She was excited, which didn’t help. They were going to work on a big prank, something you had to have two people to accomplish. What it was they weren’t sure of yet, but it would be something epic, memorable, and probably sure to get them in plenty of trouble if anyone figured out who did it
Please get here soon Dani before I drive myself crazy
