The stage was empty and she felt like singing again. Maybe from there she could see Shane coming in from the door. Straightening out her shirt, she climbed on the stage and grabbed the mic. Almost Lover blared through the speakers and she started the first line, her vocals soft and a little sad,

Her eyes swept the crowd as she tried to look for her boyfriend. Her voice carried a little bit higher.

She left the stage and all the people cheering. She hadn’t seen Shane walk in and hopefully he wouldn’t see her then. She walked out the door and Elva did the unexpected. She curled up in a ball and just stared at the black car in front of her, unaware that there were footsteps coming her way.

Olivia watched and listened as Elva got on stage for a second time. She was horribly confused why the girl chose to sing that song about her boyfriend. Olivia hopped for the lads sake Elva wasn't going to break up with him tonight here. That would just be lame.

As the song ended and Elva bolted from the building Olivia followed her finding the girl curled up on the ground. "Hey der, Dat ground ain't da cleanest place ta be lay'n yer 'ed. Lassie ye alrigh?"

A security guy came up behind us saying I needed to take my friend home. I nodded at the gentlemen defusing the situation. "Com on den, lets take a walk til yer lad get 'ere"

Well let me take a shower real quick and I'll be down.

Elva smiled at Olivia. She was definitely someone she had wanted to see at that moment. "You might be wondering why I chose that song. It's not because I'm breaking up with Shane, there's been a lot of drama lately and I felt like I needed to get it out, ya know?" she said kicking a pebble to the side of the road. They were walking to Goddess knew where and she didn't want to complimate matters for her new friend.

"So, what's up with you? I haven't seen you around much," she said smiling a little, looking sideways at the other redhead beside her.

Olivia nodded leading the girl towards... well she didn't really have a location mostly it was around the block and back towards the club so they could keep an eye for her man. "Ey be understand'n drama, gotta be kareful id don' be tak'n over ye life, small doses be good fer da soul but ye be gett'n much more den dat 'n can make ye sick, can mess wit da ones ye be lov'n, can lead ya te a e'rly grave 'n all." Olivia's tone was quiet and encouraging. "Non my busi'ness but be gues'n da lad b'for ye lad did'n leave ya well?"

They turned a corner and her phone chirped again. "Ain be up ta much, be a slave ta me classes 'n sis. Din't run inta anyone else a'ter I wen a wand'rn." Olivia pulled her coat closer as a particularly chilly wind swept through. "Mig be fer da bes if ye hang wit yer lad at da dorms, der be a storm roll'n ins. Could catcha in et."

Elva smiled and nodded her head, her hair bouncing. “Yeah, I guess you say that,” she said her fingers going to her neck. The bruises had faded, but the memory of them hadn’t and she didn’t want to confide in her friend just yet of what happened.

She looked up and saw the clouds covering the stars, “You’re right, but he might already be on his way here, I don’t want to show up in the dorms and then have him come all the back to the institute. You know? How old is your sister? You never say much about her.” Elva hoped she wasn’t prying and tried to give Olivia a smile.

Olivia nodded. "Ey don be know'n much bout dis s'uff bu' seems ta me dat ye should be hav'n yer head on yer shoulder 'fore ye be 'pectin' ye lad ta help ya. Ye eve be need'n ta talk ey be hav'n grea' ears. He know 'bout how ye las' lad end'n? Too much sorrow in yer eyes ta be in luv wit a lad."

"Ye could be text'n 'em 'n find where he es ya know." She shrugged as they passed through a narrow point bumping shoulders. "Ma sis? we're twins. Identical ya be true. Ai'n much ways ta be tell'n us apar. Get's little old ta be hones'. But she' ma sis 'n ey be luv'n her true. How 'bout ye, be havin sibli'ns?"

“Yeah, actually, three of them. I have two younger sisters and an older brother in his early twenties. He’s off at college right now and my sisters are much too young to be taking care of themselves, though I was staying at home along at their age,” she said rambling. Elva gave Olivia a smile. “I bet my sisters know how that feels, even when they were younger, people kept asking if they were twins or something. I guess they just got tired of it, last time I heard, Rowan dyed her hair pink and Sydney dyed it black.”

“When my father got home, he went baliastic. Said he didn’t want his little girls to be growing up like I did,” Elva finished. She pulled at her red hair, hoping it wouldn’t get frizzy by the time the storm passed.
