In ways, turning eighteen was the best thing that had ever happened to Charlie. It's like - 18. Basically an adult, you get even more respect in her case and also the right to kick it fucking hot at the club. Dressing up in the sexiest shit out there, walking in with a bunch of chicks, get to the dancefloor with vodka and let loose. She loved it. Vermont might be a small little shithole but this was one of its perks. The DJ spun tunes off the hook as Charlie moved to them. A guy just walked away after he asked Charlie if they wanted to fuck in a back alley. I guess it's safe to say that her first colliding with his face was a definite no. It was disgusting, and also he was the most greasiest thing she had ever fucking seen.

The song finished, and one of her girls had twisted there ankle and needed to sit. Prissy bitch she was, but if she had to sit then they might as well sit. At the bar, Charlie got out her phone. This was for two reasons. One, to check herself out in the phone's reflection. Two, see if she has gotten any texts from a certain someone. It wasn't like she really liked Lani, he was just a good guy. Maybe exactly what she needs in her life at the moment. GOD CHARLIE, WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU LATELY!? "Jesus Christ..". She said to herself and ordered two rounds of bourbon for everyone at the bar on her daddy's tab. Downing on herself, she knew she definitely had to get back out on that floor.

Ethan doesn’t usually frequent clubs in the middle of the week. Granted that in general, his drinking, partying and clubbing has increased (and is still increasing) exponentially upon being accepted to Kappa Sigma just over a year ago, but the boy does try his hardest to still maintain a semblance of ‘discipline’ in his life. As much as he’d like to let loose, his father would crush him to bits (quite literally) would he learn that his son is neglecting his studies. (That was their little condition about allowing Ethan to join anyway, that he’d maintain – even improve – his current marks). That, and with the new rules the university’s imposed on varsity teams, he might lose his hockey varsity scholarship if he gets three C-minuses in his courses. (So far the lowest he knows is a B-, so he feels safe).

In any case, tonight was one of his buddies’ birthday and he insisted they go out to have a ‘small’ celebration within themselves despite the frat hosting a big party come Friday night. Ethan refused at first, telling them to just go grab Braxton and he’d very much drink for enough for the two of them anyway, but since the brat’s nowhere to be found and Jack employed his ‘puppy eyes’ on the brunette, the poor boy had no choice but to hop in the pick-up truck and go with the gang. (He does insist that it wasn’t that he’s affected by Jack’s puppy eyes, but it’s that he looks utterly pathetic doing it and Ethan would just like it to stop).

The night was going rather well – Jack’s already making out with a redhead he ‘accidentally’ bumped into while dancing, the birthday boy Fred had both his hands full with what seems like a pair of twins and Victor’s just been whisked away by god knows who. Ethan himself had just sat down panting hard from the dance floor, waving with a huge grin to Melanie who said that she’ll just stop by her friends for a bit then be back for him real quick.

While waiting though, the boy felt like he needed to get away from their table for a bit, and since they’ve already run out of drinks, used such an excuse to peel himself away from his buddies for a bit. After placing his order down, he sat down for a bit and sent a text to a surprisingly absent Braxton, telling him to at least do the laundry if he’s not following since their room’s stinking already. His attention was stolen soon after when a girl spoke from behind him, eyeing the teen with surprise and confusion with a slightly tilted head.

“You do know that using the lord’s name in vain is a mortal sin right?” he asked teasingly, shaking his head, “And aren’t you a little too young to be in here? How old does your ID say you are, thirty-four?” Not that Ethan would report her or anything. Heaven knows he still has a year to go before he’s allowed to drink publicly. Hooray hypocrisy.

Another shot downed her throat, burning slightly as she sat up straight. At this point right now, Charlie was a little bit drunk and craving a cigerette. They were fucking sick, she knew this. But whne she drinks, she likes to have a fag. She was about to get up, now in a shit mood when she heard his voice. Looking away from him at the time, she just heard his voice. She rolled her eyes and turned around, about to tell the guy to fuck off when she saw who it was. She had heard about him. Charlie sighed, putting her handbag over her shoulder.

"That's what they tell me. If it's true I'm screwed then, huh?". She smirked and was about to rise when he continued. He started on about age and ID, and she could tell that he was kidding around with her. If he was hitting on her, she wasn't exactly sure yet. Was she hitting on him, abso-fucking-lutely! "You really think I look thirty-four. Not exactly the way to a girl's heart White". Checking him out, she wondered. Okay, what about just one more hookup. Then, she would calm down. Maybe. Fuck no, this is Charlotte Styles we're talking about here.

"I'm going outside for a smoke. Your coming". She said as she rose and walked passed him, he hand running over his shoulder as she did. She wouldn't do anything at the club, that is just fucked. But maybe just some talk and then back to hers for - well - let your imagination soar.

[Ethan White]

Ethan was a little surprised when the girl surprisingly knew his name – or rather, his last name at that. It was a little eerie for him, but then he remembered that this is Pilot Ridge and small towns tend to be like that. You know, people knowing everyone else’s business.

He was just about to leave it at that when a sudden familiarity came to mind. It was hard to notice it at first due to the lovely lighting of the bar (note the sarcasm), but as he bent down slightly to grab one of the drinks the bartender prepared he got a better look of her face. Charlotte Styles. Heard one too many tales about her from her father and Chris (both good and bad, though Chris’ bias is oh-so-apparent in his stories).

After his disastrous fallout with Andi, Ethan told himself that he’d stay away from high school girls, Hammel or not. But for some reason – call it the alcohol talking – he found himself flashing a smug grin at Charlotte’s words and having the strong urge to flirt back. “Been told about it one too many times,” he replied, eyes not leaving the teleporter, “Then again, who said I’d want to get to your heart? Maybe I’m just like those other guys whose final destination is someone else’s pants?” A little too forward than his usual approach (mostly because it lacked that certain playfulness to it) but oddly enough he doesn’t really care. By gods, is Braxton starting to rub off him now or what?

The brunette smirked at the command in the girl’s statement. And he thought he was subtle. Fortunately for him, Marko suddenly appeared out of nowhere, patting his shoulders and asking if their drinks are ready. He grabbed his glass and gave the tray to his buddy, telling him to bring it to Jack and the others as he’s going to go out for a bit. The knowing wink he gave Marko as he followed Charlotte should tell the man everything.

“I’d say something about smoking, but then I’d sound very much like my mom. Not exactly the image I’m going for right now,” he said as he got out of the club and saw the girl’s silhouette, taking a quick sip of his drink. The phone in his pants suddenly vibrated, and since it was just Braxton, he hastily put it back. “Let me guess, it’s either you’ve just finished the hardest exam of your life or it’s a friend’s birthday, right?” Small talk isn’t his strongest suit when sober. When he’s drunk though, Ethan says he prefers to occupy his mouth with something else other than talking.

If there was anything that made Brax enter a "fuck the world" mood, was meeting with Sawyer. He had had that awkward conversation with her a couple of days ago and then he ran into her again that morning, a moment she took advantage of to try to talk to him again. He definitely liked her more when she was gone. All Braxton could get was that she was attempting to ammend things with him, and god he hated that. It bugged him just a little too much. Deep inside, he wanted that too, but it was all covered with so much... trash up to the top. Was he supposed to ignore all that and just say yes? Well, of course not. He was better at putting much more trash on top of it, hoping to cover it all. And god did beer bottles made good trash for this purpose.

Before lunch he was already in the club district. By three o'clock he was already drunk. By six he had already taken two naps on two different bars and by nighttime he was rested, hyper and even drunker, ready to keep going all night. "The Braxton Way", he said to himself and to any other person that made the mistake to talk to him in his state.

"ETHIE-BEAR" He quickly ran towards Ethan as soon as he saw him in the club, instantly hugging him from behind. "I missed you buddy," He said, or attempted to say, since his drunkenness level was very probably not allowing him to talk properly. "Where have you beeeeeen?" Brax released the older boy and stood up next to him. Beer in one hand, unlit cigarette in the other, face amazingly red and swollen due to a probably near-lethal level of alcohol in his blod and quite red eyes. "I just tried calling you," He said as he put his unlit cigarette in his mouth, attempting to smoke from it and looking at it weirdly afterwards. "why didn't you answer me?" Insert here puppy eyes. "Hey I know you..." He pointed at the girl next to Ethan, losing his balance for a second but recovering himself quickly. "You're that bitch who thinks the world's kneeling for her." He took a drink. "Well guess what," He kept pointing at her while making little circles with his index. "tonight YOU'll be the one kneeling. For me. If you know what I mean." He smiled at Ethan and attempted to nudge him softly, but doing it rather stronger than he wanted to. "If you don't it means that you'll be sucking my dick." He kept smiling at nodding while putting his cigarette back in his mouth, once again attempting to smoke. "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THIS THING DAMN IT?!?!?!"

Her made her laugh. He was already doing well. She gave him a grin, moving the hair out of her face. If his destination was trying to get in her pants, so fucking be it. She wouldn't deny that it would be fun. But the look of his arms, that tan and the fact that he was not boring just made things better. She smiled widely. Upon going out for a smoke, he joked. Once again she laughed. She mostly wanted to sit on his face, but for now maybe a chat wouldn't be horrible.

Outside, she sat with her legs crossed as she sparked up. Taking in a breath, she heard Ethan on his phone. She waited patiently (patiently is something pretty new), taking in another draw. But then someone who appeared to be an abrupt crazy fucker charged up, hugging Ethan. He wasn't an ugly kid, but was so plastered. He mucked around with Charlie as she looekd away. She might be in high school but they were acting like fucking little children. Then the guy turned to her.

Pointing, he said he knew her. She gave him an irritated look as he said that she things that she rules the school. She doesn't need to think it, it is just true. She put on a confused expression, but then this dirty minded prick was being gross and wanting her to suck his dick. Really! She doesn't just go around giving head to anyone she sees. He was going to fucking chow down his words. He hadn't lit the smoke, and was frustrated. So she got up.

Flicking her lighter, she went to light it for him. Getting close, she was allowing him to light the smoke. But in the clsoe range, she sent a hard knee towards his crouch. After that, smiling, she told him. "You watch your fucking mouth you asshole". Sitting back down, she took another drag. What a nice night it has been?

Everything was going rather well, or at least it seemed that way to Ethan. His comebacks, lame as they may be compared to his smooth-talker buddy Barry, were received rather well. Not only did she smile at him, but she went on and gave him a full-blown laugh. Sure it wasn’t much, but it gave the brunette enough of an ego boost and it sort of affirmed to himself that he hasn’t lost his game just yet. (Finally he’s gotten over the traumatizing event that is Paula Tyler). Looks like Fred and Jack aren’t the only ones going to the frathouse with someone else in their arms.

But then his best friend had to come along and ruin everything. Come along drunk, he might add.

He jolted up just slightly when he felt the younger boy’s arms around his side, instinctively cursing. The brunette’s sides are rather ticklish, and alcohol seems to only make it worse. He gave Charlotte an apologetic smile before he turned to his best friend, grabbing him by his shoulders to help him stand up. “I would ask the same to you, but it’s not like it would make much of a difference,” he said as he heaved Braxton up, taking away the beer from his hand, “Is this why you weren’t in your afternoon classes again? Your groupmates for that English class of yours had been phoning me nonstop.” Fun being his best friend’s keeper, that is.

His eyes widened when he saw the boy put an unlit cigarette on his mouth. The low light must’ve made him miss it the first time. “And just where did you get this?” he groaned, hand quickly moving to grab the offending object from the boy’s mouth. “Getting so drunk and smoking. Really Brax?” Two strikes in one day. Fortunately he’s around to keep Braxton from committing a third one.

Or not.

It happened all too fast that, well, Ethan just stood there and stared. Before he can even apologize for the uncouth words that came out of his drunk friend’s mouth, Charlotte was already in front of them with her knee lodged on the younger boy’s crotch.

“Oh god!” As much as he’d like to sympathize with his best friend, he couldn’t deny that he had it coming though. “I’m really sorry,” he said as he turned to Charlotte, “I’ll just drag my friend away now.” He’s never been so angry and embarrassed all his life. His grip on the boy’s arm might’ve gone tighter unconsciously because of the whole debacle. “Let’s go Brax.”

Hopefully things won’t escalate any further.

[Braxton Carson]

Stranged by Ethan's mention of people calling him all day, Braxton took his cellphone from his pocket and looked at it. Yup, several missed calls he didn't even know were there. Then again, he didn't eve know he had groupmates for his English class, or that the had an English class, as a matter of fact.

"Well I lost my cellphone this morning." He said while clearly placing his Blackberry back in his pocket. Afterwards, when Ethan took his cigarette from his hands, Braxton just pulled another one from his backpocket, which was all flat from sitting on it through the night. "It's my life." He pushed Ethan aside as he complained of Brax's action. "And you're not my dad."

He once again attempted to smoke his unlit cigarette when finally whats-her-name got closer to him. Yeah, come with daddy you sweati... oh? She lit his cigarette and he finally understood why they hadn't been working the hole night. Cigarettes that can only be lit by women? Amazing! He turned to face to Ethan.

"Did you see thAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!" Braxton's face changed into one big O where his mouth used to be and two white spheres where his eyes where.

Everyone in at least two blocks had probably heard him scream. He had been hit there before, but for some reason this hurt much more than any other time, even if alcohol supposedly numbed the body. When he finally caught a breath, he closed his eyes. Fuck fuck fuck fuck. He bit his lip and finally looked back at the spawn of hell who had just kicked him in the balls.

"Wait, wait." He said to Ethan in between-breaths. "What's your number?" He asked the girl while holding his jewels with both hands as they throbbed with pain. "Write it down!" He pushed Ethan lightly. "I love the rough ones..."

White seemed to be alerted by Charlie's actions. As soon as her knee met his nuts, he triggered to the thought that he should get Braxton out of there. Charlie looked up to him, trying to smile. "Great idea". She took another drag as she looked down to Braxton. What a tool? Drunk she understood, drunk and sleezy and a douche; she couldn't deal with that shit.

Braxton kept pushing Ethan away which pissed her off. She was willing to do it again just to let the guy know to watch his mouth. Her threats didn't seem to work at all. So Braxton took another swing. He asked for her number, who was fucking cute. But also really stupid. "Sure, why didn't you ask before?". On the back of a hoster, she wrote down her digits. The right digits, but just wait. Turning back to them, she folded the hoster. But she gave it to Ethan.

"Call me. Anytime". She gave him a smile, but then looked back to Braxton on his comment on the 'feisty ones'. She sighed and then swung a backhand directed towards his face. She really wouldn't mind teaching this guy a lesson, meta or not.

Braxton really is hopeless. You’d think Ethan would be used to it by now, but really the boy just keeps on showing new ways of lowering the older teen’s image of him with each passing day. It does keep life interesting though, so the brunette isn’t really complaining that much.

As friendly and approachable as Ethan might appear, he did have the unfortunate luck of having his groin kneed and/or kicked when he was younger. (Lucky for him it only happened a handful of times). Sure he’s young then and his tolerance for pain was probably way less, but he’s fairly sure that the pain of having one’s nuts kicked never wanes. It is, and always will be, one of the most painful (if not the most painful) sensations ever. So the fact that Braxton still had the energy to ask for her number, even push him just slightly so that he’d let him be, really caught the older teen by surprise.

Knowing that arguing with Braxton at this state is never really a good thing (not that he ever wins an argument with the boy even with he’s sober and/or not in pain), he turned around, adjusting Braxton just slightly so he can support him better. “You love anyone that’s blonde and has two boobs,” muttered the boy as he rolled his eyes, wrapping one arm tightly around Braxton’s waist to keep him steady. His eyes widened when Charlotte actually wrote down her number, though he was convinced it was a fake one. Until she handed it over to him instead of Braxton, with which Ethan promptly grinned and winked back. “Thanks,” he said, mentally telling himself to remember the number and call her within the month, “Let’s go Dickhead. Say thanks to Charlotte.”

The universe couldn’t let him be Brax-free for at least one night, couldn’t it?

I'm too hot to say not to. Braxton managed to smile slightly in between his pained face as the girl wrote down her number. She was even kind enough to give it to Ethan so he'd hold it for him since the older boy was not drunk and Brax could lost it. How considerate of them both.

"Oh, I will call you babe." He winked and started to turn around just as the girl's hand flew by, missing him for an inch. "Oh save the roughness for bed." He said as he started to walk away supported by Ethan. "Remember me to call her within the month."

He breathed in. His lower parts were still throbbing a pulsating pain and his drunkness, momentarily gone by the shot of adrenaline of being kneed, wasn't making him feel any better. It only meant one thing, go-home time, so he hopped into the first empty cab he saw and dragged Ethan along.

"HOME PLEASE." He yelled at the cab driver while pointing forward. No, he had no mind to say the address correctly, but Ethan was probably going to fill that in anyway. "Oh dude it hurts so much." He whispered softly before leaning in the brunette's shoulder.

Longest. cab ride. ever.
