Thread Roulette: Club Quirks

Anastasia Van Drakke, Malcom Black, Leila Gold, and Mitya Makarov all show up at a dance club one night, because...why not? They don't have to drink, just dance and have a good time.

Rules: Each one will be PM'd shortly with a strange quirk or identity. While keeping as much in-character as they can, they must express that quirk. They are not allowed to say what the quirk is, but once one of the others has identified it, they're allowed to leave.

Leila was all dressed up for her night out clubbing. She was tired after a few days of running around town and just wanted to relax for a while.

She danced into the club and immediately moved out onto the floor for some time relaxing and having fun. She laughed for everyone around her and smiled at all the right jokes, then after a few songs moved off to the bar.

"Barkeep, a pina colada, please!" After an absent-minded sweep at her hair to make sure it hadn't been blown into a complete mess, she smiled around at everyone else again. She turned to the person next to her. "Don't you just love going out for a night? It's so freeing to be out and about the town. I don't know about you, but I just love all this attention."

This club was weird. Malcom felt unsettled and a little off, but decided not to fret about it. There was alcohol, there were cute girls to watch or dance with if you felt bold, and so the night wasn’t a complete waste of time. He’d only been here for a couple of minutes and already he felt better. He’d just come up to the bar to order another beer and maybe for a pretty girl who was settled down in a seat by the window when the small blonde next to him spoke up. He smiled down at her.

“Yeah, it’s not—uh.” He paused, leaning over as if he had spotted something over her shoulder, then tried to refocus on her face. “Not bad! Don’t know about the, uh…attention.” He leaned again, then blinked at her and smiled. “There’s a, uh—never mind! Come here…often?”

Whatever he was staring at over her shoulder was clearly distracting him again.

Mitya was shaking, and for once, it wasn't because he was nervous. Nervousness and his usual anxiety could wait until tomorrow, when he was feeling less... weak. So many choices in the club that night, but he couldn't draw too much attention to himself, now, could he? It wouldn't do him any good, anyway. Not with the purpose he had in mind.

He just had to find someone... vibrant, perhaps. Someone whose skin bore the blush of a good night of dancing, someone whose heart was pumping hard in their chest. Someone warm and alive, and preferably interesting, but the way he was feeling, he couldn't afford to be fussy.

Seeing the rather quirky pair up ahead, however, he licked his lips as he approached. Leaning in possibly a bit too close to the male, he grinned at the pair.

"Good evening," he spoke in a growl, breathing against the other man's neck. "I hope you don't mind too much if I join you."
