((Continuation of Spill it!
Adrianna had crushed on Craven when she was younger and they had first started hanging out, much like with Robbie. She still found him attractive and totally crush-able, but she had grown so close to him that she believed if anything more was to happen between them, everything would be lost. Of course she knew it could be different too, but she didn't want to risk it. They were unbelievably close and ruining that would crush her. He was her best friend. Maybe not as brotherly as she liked to think, or tell him, but still they were friends. (It didn't hurt having hot guy friends.)
She was always so happy with him. Even in her darkest moments he made her smile. He was always so good with words around her. Sure, he believed the word-vomit thing was a weakness, but it was how he felt and he never really slipped up with her. The only things he had blurted out to her were when he hated the guys she was into. He had seen through Talen's gentleman exterior and saw right into the whorish interior. He had warned her, but she didn't listen. She didn't want to believe it.
Adrian had told him everything about her life. How her mother was sick, how she never knew her biological father and how she felt like half of her was missing. He was one of the very few people she had told about her father and her feelings towards the situation. Most people knew about her mother, simply because she was always crying about it, especially at the most inopportune times (such as in the Student Lounge when she first met the infamous prick Zac). She trusted people whole-heartedly and most of the time it came back and bit her, but it hadn't with Craven. Not in the years that they had spent at Hammel together.
She smiled brightly at him when he agreed with the cute icicle part and again when his arms wrapped around her in the cab. Despite the friendliness between them, she couldn't help imagining more. She knew about Gia, even if he hadn't told her, and she would never get between them. Not when they were so good for each other. She was happy he had Gia, someone who understood him more than he understood himself. He needed someone like that, and she didn't see herself filling that position.
Adrianna leaned against him as the cab driver started driving towards Kali's Kafe. She looked up at him, "Crave, why don't you think you are a good person?" She asked randomly, but in a very serious, soft tone.
