A bad day. A very, very very bad day. 'what the angry looking teen was having. It lined every muscle of her posture and, well, it made people afraid. Inside sarcasm was at a boiling point and she was just daring anyone to come within five feet of her. Her smooth runway walk made her look like she didn't belong in Pilot Ridge but in New York. Her look, something mostly designed by her mother was accented by a shirt that expressed her feelings. She wished the world would just shut up and die. All the people were always in her head and she couldn't get them out for the life of her. She was sick of knowing everyone's thoughts, and she was tired of knowing things she shouldn't. It pissed her off to no end and she wished it would go away.
She had at first thought about going to the mall, but that was a fail. She instead she decided to go to Kali's. She'd been there before and she could just sit at the counter and be a sulky teen, just like any other sulky, mind reading teen. Oh wait, what other sulky mind reading teen! There aren't any at Hammel and I'm not going to just start talking to a bunch of random people about my power. This is complete shit. She had her hate face on. It was a full scowl, not only fueled by every nitpicking thought around her, but the second she walked in it lessened a bit.
The atmosphere took the edge off the bubbling anger and sarcasm, but she wasn't going to let her swiss cheese shields down a single bit. She was already struggling to control the tide of thoughts, and her own high emotions weren't lending any help to her control. Why did it have to be like this? Her mother had sent her these nifty clothes as a present, but she knew it was a cover by the note. Her sister was in the hospital again from some lung infection or another. Sweet Taeloc was sick, and she wasn't there. Combined with the usual nightmares this had led the teen to have plenty of sleepless nights.
Not only that, but then the Hammel A.I. had sent a virus through her comp when she went near some locked file. The damn thing had deleted tons of her careful coding and it had taken hours to untangle it and try to restore what had been broken. A large amount of the files were too corrupted to save, including a large amount of her music library. She sighed, and looked for the barista, or someone to give her some coffee.
" Can I get an extra large coffee with extra caffeine and raspberry?" She yelled across the counter. Why not? The place was empty, which was unusual. Even if it was the sort of late afternoon slow hours.
