Madison just wanted to get some fresh air today. It was the weekend and she wanted to relax a little before finishing her catch up work. She shivered slightly, why did it have to be cold during winter? She moved down the path to the pond tilting her head slightly. It was pretty out here that was for sure. She decided to sit on the cold ground and just think about things so far. She wanted to work on her duplicating intentionally but it actually made her feel exhausted so she needed the time off.

After a few moments she dug in her large jacket pockets and opened the book she had brought with her. This was a little anti social, she knew this, but she was new and most people did not want to associate with the new kid so she had her book.

Becca sneered at the many people who were walking past her as she lounged around outside. She had a jacket, and really the wind wasn't so bad that she was cold. No, it was more like brisk than it was like cold. And anyway, if she stayed indoors, she couldn't enjoy the expressions on everyone's faces as she sneered at most and tripped some. There were very few who had the presence of mind to walk around her leg when it jutted out underneath their feet. Becca didn't mind that though, she was still getting about an 87% success rate. But this was starting to get boring. The same juvenile trick after the next.

Soon enough, Becca got up and moved a bit closer to the pond. And that was when she saw someone she didn't know. That didn't happen often. Becca made it a habit of getting to know the people at the school so she knew exactly what would get the best reaction out of her victims. She had lived around the area long enough to know the locals as well, and this girl didn't look anywhere near old enough to be a freshman at the university. That meant it was new blood. Fresh meat for her to grind down, and who probably would not see anything coming from the older girl.

Becca walked over and raised an eyebrow. "You shouldn't sit there. That spot is always crawling with spiders. You wouldn't want to be bitten, would you?" She pointed over at a small group of spiders about a foot away. A group that she had created with her oh-so-useful power of illusions. Sure, it sounded like she was pointing it out, but in fact, Becca was using the group to distract the new kid from the larger, apple-sized black widow that was crawling onto and up the girl's arm. Oh the nightmares would be so worth it.
