Moe looked absolutely sugar puff cream pink icing bun adorable with his brown curly hair in pigtails as he silently spread a blanket over the sweet smelling summer grass. In the crook of his arm was a giant picnic basket, a brown fuzzy teddy sitting on top. Setting the basket down in the middle, he arranged the fuzzy bear to the side of the blanket, then began pulling out an almost unending amount of items from the wicker basket.
A tea set with a thermos keeping the boiled water hot. Delicate little plates stacked with sandwiches and cakes to make the mouth water. Dainty petis fours of the savoury and sweet kind, and three different types of tea. Oolong - to promote good digestion. Green for good health and sweet fruit tea to go with dessert. Anyone who came across this odd sight would think Moe was being a little immature, but for him this was the pinnacle of social correctness. Four cups and saucers were placed around the blanket, and two tiny hands continued to fish out goodies from within the picnic basket.
Eventually, when the large grey and red checkered blanket was heaving with goods, Moe set the picnic basket away and surveyed the day with a smile. A nice warm day, but not too warm, a small mild breeze and the pleasent peace and quiet Hammel offered during the summer holidays, when lessons dropped down to a minimum for a few weeks and the football team went off to be obnoxious elsewhere.
Dani had been difficult to convince to wear the correct items at this picnic - Lolita. But a few choice pleading words had got her willingly into a dress Moe thought she looked beautiful in. As for the twins, well, they were very dear when Moe had shown them the pictures of the sort of things boys wore to this sort of picnic. And now he was just waiting for them to arrive so they could talk and be civilised and sip tea and introduce their teddies.
Moe's teddy bear was Ichigo, and he was as old as Moe was. He sat stiffly with his bow tie and fastened on top hat, staring over the fields at something the tiny brunette was sure was fascinating.
He checked the time once more, then stared hopefully in the direction of the school.
