Beautiful day. Blue skies and almost 70degrees, which at this point might as well as been 80. It was abnormally warm for this time of year and Emmanuelle was not about to waste it. She had three hours before she had to be at her new job and wanted to spend it outside. She knew that she should be training. She had a test coming up and she was no where near as controlled as they wanted her to be.
She'd made great strides since coming to the school when she was younger. When she came she could make room temperature water warm and draw a few drops from a cup. Now she could do so much more. She could freeze and boil water and manipulate it's cellular structure at it's core. She could also draw water from all sorts of sources and form it into most shapes that she wanted to. The more water the more concentration it took and even then sometimes it didn't work out so well.
She needed to start working with greater amounts of water now at a time. She could control small amounts now it was time for the big guns and that would take strength training just as much as mental. So a run would be a good place to start. She always did find it easier to focus once she'd worked up a sweat anyway.
So, Emmy threw on her hot pink sports bra and a pair of black running shorts and black tennis shoes. She should have put on a shirt to hide her giant black and blue bruise on her ribs but she didn't care, she thought it made her look tough. She drew her blonde hair up out of her face and pushed it back with a thin black headband then headed out towards the training field.
Once on the field it seemed that she wasn't the only one who wanted to take advantage of this beautiful day. It was buzzing with students all taking part in various activities. There were a handful of runners running around the fields, student's playing soccer and a handful of students actually training.
She started off with a slow jog, just to warm up. It'd only been a few minutes when she started to get bored. She noticed a runner up ahead only a few strides and put on a friendly face and kicked her tail into gear. "Hey mind running with a buddy?" She asked happily. "i always find runs more enjoyable with someone to spend them with."
