It was pinned to the wall. Someone had written in big, black letters on a piece of what looked like spiral notebook paper. The note had been pinned in as noticeable a place as could be managed. Well, the main note, being the one pinned to the announcement board on the lounge. There were several dozen others scattered over the lounge. They were all slightly different, but the gist was the same:

You're super!
So why not act it?
First meeting of a new organization.
A Super organization

At the bottom was the date and meeting place, along with some contact information.

The intent was clear though.

Someone was going to put together a team of "Superheroes..."

Jem had been planning on meeting Spencer for a Sammy-Date-Gossip when she came across the note pinned up. Reading it with a lopsided grin, she snatched one for herself and stuffed it in her bag.

"Hell to the yes." She smirked, hopping on one foot and then going off to find some epic DNA to show off to her fellow superheroes when the time came. ... She wondered how she'd be able to get tiger DNA without being eaten. Maybe some hairs? God, she'd have to get specimen jars!

Rubbing her hands together with glee, the blonde dashed off, texting Isaac with a need to help her design a superhero outfit.

Genetica was totally going to be the most epical superhero in the entire world.

Dani was wandering through the student lounge, on her way to meet Robbie, when she spotted it.

It really was plain and shouldn't have caught her eye, but just today hadn't she been talking about how much Hammel was like a bad X-Men fan fic? So of course, when she spotted something out of the corner of her eye that held possibly interesting information, she sped over to it to read the paper. Pulling out a pen and writing the date in her scribble book, Dani grinned excitedly. She didn't know what kind of use her ability was, but she could come in handy for something. Also, she had someone that she knew for sure would love to be a part of this.

Running to her dorm room, not quite caring about catching anyone's attention, Dani found Robbie on the couch, flopped down next to him, and showed him the date. They were going to do this totally awesome/epic/possibly illegal thing together.

Jared could not believe his eyes. It was only by chance that he went into the student lounge (he got thirsty and the lounge had the closest vending machines) and boy was he glad he took the detour when he did.

Even before he found out about his special ability (the boy wouldn’t call it a power; he claims it’s a little too useless and a bit too lame to be along the lines of super speed, acid spit or shapeshifting), being a superhero had always been his biggest dream. True, it waned slowly as he entered high school, but his admittance to Hammel somehow strengthened it (albeit not back to its original fervour) once again, even if the school’s stripped of a danger room or secret hangars. (Though he’s heard through a grapevine that LaRousse kid had one installed near the lake).

And now, it’s finally at his fingertips. He may not have those special powers, but he could still hope for a fancy costume and an exciting double life. God, he could’ve wet himself just thinking about it.

Tearing the poster off (there were lots in the lounge scattered around anyway), he quickly ran over AJ’s and Izzy’s room, eager to drag them into the mix. And yes, ‘no’ is not an option.

Hopefully this isn’t just some ogress-inspired prank.

Jordan was out of his room--probably a good thing, if Jared was going to be stopping by--and had just come back from another hard training session. He wasn't sure he was ready to go to his room yet, so he swung by the student lounge for a moment.

It was hard to miss all the signs hanging around, even though the large one had been ripped down and gone missing. Trying to look casual about the whole thing, he sauntered up to one of the posters. He pulled the pen out from behind his ear and jotted down the date and time on his hand, to see if he'd have the time to stop by.

His expedition with the geek squad hadn't turned out so well--too many girls, not enough fighting monsters, and way too much squealing over how hot certain guys were. (Some of the guys were even anime characters, which made no sense.) Maybe this time would be better.

He was tempted not to go at all, considering all the difficulty from last time, but this was just superheroes. What could go wrong? Besides, he already had plans as Invisikid, and he was sure these guys could use his help--or at least some of his information.

[Henry Ballo]

Henry had no interest in being a superhero. Really. What was heroic about him? He was irritable, poor, liked books, and didn't even speak good enough English to do a fake voice. So no. No interest in being in a superhero. He'd seen the signs and had laughed and walked away.

Except...

Superheroes usually got the girl. Even when in disguise. And Estelle liked that sort of thing, didn't she? Well, she liked Aragorn and Legolas and Kirk and Spock, who weren't superheroes but who definitely had heroic qualities. And frankly, Henry needed all the help he could get. And Henry liked doing good for others. He'd never admit it, but he did.

And then there was Richard. His younger brother had called to talk to him, and he'd told him about the sign, and then had gotten an earful about how superheroes were awesome and he would get to wear cool costumes and save people and that Henry should really really be a superhero please please please please...

Well. It would take a statue to withstand that. And Henry was trying hard, but had yet to succeed at being made of stone. So the second time he passed the sign, he paused to take the contact information, then strolled on as if nothing had happened.

[Logan Castille]

"Seriously!" Logan shouted as he approached the note on the wall. He quickly pulled out his newest hi-tech cellphone and began recording the listed information down on the appropriate day in his calendar application. "Sweeet!"

For as long as he's been able to speak, Logan's had a bit of an obsession with superheroes. It started out with the TV shows and movies and quickly turned into to action figures and superhero themed underpants (which he still wears). The thought of being a superhero activated his inner child and filled him with excitement.

As he walked away from the wall, many things began running through his head, ranging from what his super name would be and what designer he would pay to make his super suit. His super suit had to be a sexy, tight fitting leather uniform like what the X-Men wore. Maybe he'd spice it up with a utility belt or something. The possibilities were endless with a pocket as deep as Logan's.

[Lucy Holiday]

Lucy stood in front of the mass of fliers with a Tootsie Pop stick hanging out of her mouth. She slurped the candy loudly as she scanned. "Boring, boring, boring!" There had to be something to do! No plays coming up, no concerts -Lucy was going stir crazy. She had hoped to find a Halloween party to look forward to. "Come on, people! Seriously?" The bored, glazed over look on her face slowly evolved into a cute little smirk as a prank came to mind.

Lucy's honey brown eyes were in the process of fluttering shut as she concentrated on her objective. An entire announcement wall covered in nudist camp advertisements should catch a few laughs! Lucy giggled to herself as she pictured the illusion in her mind. She had already covered half the board when something finally caught her attention. With progress only half made, Lucy left the rest of the fliers untouched by her visual ability. "Super, huh?" Lucy chewed her lower lip and lifted a finger to follow the words on the advertisement. By the time she finished reading, Lucy had made up her mind. She was already a warrior princess - why not be a superhero, too?

With a grin, Lucy jotted down the important info. Visions of a black, leather costume covered in glitter were already swimming in her head. Lucy closed her notepad and tucked her pencil behind her ear. The grin was still in place as she skipped away with a mission on her mind.
