Izzy's burger suddenly had ketchup on it. Not exactly an abnormal occurrence, given that it was a burger, but he hadn't put the ketchup there. In fact, he'd gone out of his way to avoid the ketchup. It always reminded him of blood, and who wanted that on the food that used to be an animal a few months ago? Izzy wasn't a vampire, hence the aversion. But back to the ketchup on the burger: it had been launched. In fact, Izzy had a feeling that the ketchup wasn't going to be the first thing.
He slowly looked up from the burger, trying to figure out how exactly the ketchup had gotten there. A student, obviously, though there was always at least one professor/teacher/whatever they felt like calling themselves that was willing to do something along this. The real question was simple: how had Izzy missed the ketchup coming? Had time skipped again? Or was there a robot meddling with his brain?
"It's always the robots," he muttered, half joking. There was a student holding up another container of ketchup and taking aim toward a student, one that Izzy vaguely recalled seeing in class before. A redhead. A moderately cute redhead, if you asked Izzy. A moderately cute redhead who was about to have red sauce flung at her.
"Watch out!" yelled Izzy, flinging his hand forward. Supposedly he could concentrate and manipulate time. Unfortunately, he wasn't quite sure how that worked, and the whole control issue, was, let's just say out of his grasp. so there might have been a slight temporal anomaly in a forward moving direction. It might have involved some flying ketchup. It might have been zooming toward the girl...
