While Therru didn't mind the cold, having lived in it for so long, the fact that everything liquid froze did not help her case. It just made everything harder. Once something was frozen she didn't have the ability to control it. No, she was strictly liquid things. She right now, standing in the pool room, she was debating whether to practice or to just go back to her dorm. If she went back to her dorm she would be stuck transferring water between cups, which hadn't worked out so well last time. In fact, it had ended in a huge mess. So with a slight sigh she decided to stay.
The girl looked around nervously, making sure no others were here, especially not Derek. It's not that she didn't like who she was, she just...didn't like who she was physically. She wasn't pretty like others, and since swimming in full clothes made her weird she had put on her black and blue one piece to come down here. Her hair was tied up, all out of her way so that she could work. Actually today she had an idea of what she wanted top do. She wanted to make a bubble to take with her to the bottom of the pool. It would be easier to do if she didn't have to think about other people staring at her or wondering just what she was doing.
Quickly she formed a water bubble around her, large enough for her and maybe one other person if the issue was pushed. Taking in a deep breath she jumped in the water, taking the bubble. It was hard to concentrate, and for a moment some air escaped, making the bubble smaller. But hopefully it would hold. She opened her eyes, seeing how clear the chemical water was around her. No one else was in the pool, which surprised her slightly. She wondered what she looked like from the top, just standing there on the bottom. Really, she wasn't even wet, just her feet a little. And despite everything it was very warm because the water was kept warm.
