Just a little fast forward. Thread happens on the 2^nd of August.^^.

And so after a month of extended partying, shopping and just plain loafing, Zac once again finds himself confined within the four walls of the Institute. It would’ve been fine, had it not been for the sheer amount of schoolwork he has to accomplish in just a few weeks – worksheets to answer, lab experiments to do, essays and reports to write, plus a number of lessons to read about. He’s basically thrown two or three weeks off his courses. But does it mean he’d change his habits and be a hermit, at least for a little bit?

Fat chance.

So instead of staying in his room or going to the library, Zac decided to walk ‘aimlessly’ around the halls. Though it may seem harmless at first, to the ‘trained’ eye, it’s actually appears very much like a display of territorial possession. Considering how arrogant and cocky his stance and posture are, he’s basically telling the world that Hammel is still his. That the Hammel Prince is still around, despite not being seen when classes opened. Who’s to say that his psyche isn’t slowly being taken over by the primal instincts those animals he frequently taps into have?

He was about to return to his dorm room when he saw two familiar clumps of red hair going out of a room just a few paces left of him. Grinning mischievously, he carefully sneaked behind the two and yanked their backpacks with quite a bit of a force. “You two are in so much trouble you know that,” he chuckled as he whispered, “First you didn’t join me around the world. Then you ignore me when I come back. I’m totally not going to teach you how to live life now.” After wrapping an arm around each boy’s neck and trying to drag them from side to side, he gave them both noogies and laughed. “Please tell me you caused trouble when I was gone? Please, please, please?”

Wheee. Sorry for makign you wait Kelley. And sorry if it's a little crappy. :3. And yeah, to prevent any confusion, Zac was away going around the world since the 2^nd of July to the 29^th. Hopefully it's ok to assume that the Twins didn't come, since classes started July 5^th, I think. ^^.

Since classes had started, they'd made it to all of them. All of them. Actually, they'd made it to all of them ever, except for that one time in fourth grade when they were both very sick. But that was it.

They'd been debating what to do after class, but as someone suddenly pulled them backwards - they'd heard someone walking, but naturally assumed it was just another student walking - they saw it was Zac. Zac normally had them get rid of whatever plans they had anyways and made them new ones.

Or rather, gave them assignments to turn them into troublemakers - which they certainly weren't.

In trouble? They laughed. "Well Zac, darling, as much as we wish we could've come, distance does make the heart grow fonder!" He let the other know, grinning. Uriel nodded in agreement, before trying to think of something - anything - they'd done that was.. well. Not in their usual behavior.

"Ooh! We went to a party. After curfew." They chose to mention it was an accident. That wasn't important anyways, now was it? Nope, not at all - because the point was, that even after they knew it was after curfew, they stayed. That was what was important.

"Ooh, and we drank a lot of champagne. A lot." After their parents had gone to bed, at least. At the thought of their parents, they both looked at Zac.

"There was that one time we ate chocolate after we brushed our teeth, too..." Uriel joked - but it was true. Also, they're brushed extra hard the next morning to make up for it. More stuff they left out.

"Oh! Did our dad tell your dad tell you that our mom's pregnant?" It was a long train of thought, but they figured the news at least made it to Mr. LaRousse. Whether it'd made it to Zac or not, they weren't sure.

"Also, what did you do on your world-wide legacy trip?" He wasn't sure why he used the word legacy. It just seemed to fit. Also, it was a fun word to say.

Despite what most people would say about the things he’s done, has been doing and is about to do, Zac insists that he is, in no way, a bad influence. Especially to the Prudes Raines. The twins belong to the small group of kids his father dotes upon; heaven knows how furious he’d be if he learned that his son has tried to get those “two adorable boys who I wish were my sons as well” into trouble. Nope, the pompous teen argues that he’s actually helping the boys, teaching them how to have fun.

Never mind that his definition of ‘fun’ is anything but.

He simply growled at the two boys when Gabriel spoke, roughly ushering them off their course, out of the hallway and into the grassy field. “Absence my ass. You missed my birthday party. That’s not forgivable,” he promptly leered at the two boys as they walked, hoping to guilt trip them so much that they’d practically do whatever it is he asks without second thought. He knows how strong their conscience are (or would that be is, since they’re a gestalt pair and all?), they wouldn’t be able to resist him once he appeals to their guilt. “You don’t even have a gift for me. You forgot, didn’t you?”

“Dude, I would’ve let you two both go but you had to mention the chocolate thing,” he chuckled, hand firm on each of the twin’s shoulders, “Now I’m starting to doubt the authenticity of the party and the champagne drinking.” Though he did hear of a party thrown by a telepath past curfew a few days ago. Rather amateurish, considering she supposedly held it in school grounds, but notable nonetheless. And the fact that she got his beloved brats (he uses the word lovingly) to join is definitely commendable.

The news did make it to Zac. He heard it within hours of reaching his dad’s ears (the man was so excited, as if he was the one having the child himself). But just because it reached him doesn’t mean he remembered. “Really? I think he did, I’m not sure. How many months has she been pregnant already?” The thought of Mrs. Raines made him remember that he still hasn’t given the Raines household the gifts he bought for them during his trip. Better take note of that then. “Hopefully he’ll be a whole lot more fun than you guys are,” he teased.

“Same old, same old. Robbie fell down fifty feet while skiing along the Alps. JD scared all the fish away while snorkeling in the Barrier Reef. Pretty funny really.” He has a few more tales up his sleeve, and would gladly tell them should they prod, but he has more immediate concerns for now. “Anyway, as luck would have it, there’s a party at Jerry’s place tonight. And –surprise, surprise – you’re coming with me.”

He ended his statement with a smirk, telling the boys that there’s no escape this time.

At the mention of missing his birthday party - and even potentially forgetting his birthday gift, they both laughed, putting an arm around Zac as he'd done to them. "Zac, darling, sunshine-" "Honey bunches of love and oats!" "Pumpkin!" they both cooed, finishing in unison with, "Forget your birthday gift?" "Forget your birthday gift?"

What a funny idea. Them, forget his birthday gift. With how my their dad doted on all of the Larousse's and vice versa.. funny joke.

"Our father sent the family gift to you overseas, and our personal gift to you if in our house because you haven't dropped by to give us our souvenirs so we're holding it hostage until you do!" Simple and clever, they were.

"Also, we did sneak out and drink and potentially drink a lot of champagne." They also had eaten something after brushing their teeth, but obviously, that obviously wasn't impressive to him, so they didn't add it.

"She officially been pregnant two months, it's pretty much a family-only deal for another month just to make sure." He said, smiling. They were sure their entire LaRousse family had heard, but that understood completely if Zac didn't remember - all that booze and sex deleting his brain cells...

All three of them he started out with.

That's not true, they did love Zac like a brother. He was fun, if only not in their way.

At the mention of what happened over seas, they nodded. "Not surprising.." "Not surprising.." They traded off with the falling off the Alps and scaring the fish, and then - party?!

"What? No. What?!" "What? No. What?!" They asked in unison. Party? Curfew breaking again? So soon?! Their senior year was shaping out to be pretty... rule-breaking. And to think, it all started without Zac even being there.

So they didn’t forget his birthday. Good. They do have two brains after all, if they forget, he’s going to kill them. Well, not really kill kill them, but something close. Maybe make one of them (or both, since they’re a gestalt and all that) drunk and pretend that they both slept with someone. That’d make them panic for sure, he thought, a sly smirk creeping on to his face as they walked.

He did jump in slightly when two arms crept up his shoulders (and in unison at that). Just when he thought he’s comfortable with the synchronicity between pairs, they magically catch him off guard again. “Honey and oats? Pumpkin? What kind of crap is that?” he laughed, trying to distract them from his earlier slip, “You’ve been hanging out with Hammel’s resident Wood Nymph, are you?” Not that he has anything against Autie (she’s Eric’s girlfriend, he’s supposed to be civil with her; ‘supposed to be’ being the operative words), but she just seems a little too odd for comfort at times. And now that her cousin’s join the fray…it just sends shivers down his spine thinking about it.

“Though you could be saying things because you’re high,” he said, trying to hide the teasing in his voice by sounding like he’s deep in thought, “But nah. You’re prude-squared, you’d never do that. Right?” While Zac’s ok with booze and sexual promiscuity, he’s basically with the Twinsies when it comes to drugs – no.

He did perk up when Gabriel told him they’d sent one over already. “Must’ve sent it to our England estate. Ha. We didn’t stop by there this time though,” he shrugged, glaring at a little girl who was on their way. Poor child hurriedly ran into an adjacent classroom, obviously terrified. “What if I told you I got you none?” he asked sheepishly.

A clear lie. Though he does make it a point to buy them offbeat gifts aside from the usual souvenir-esque ones – like the lingerie set he gave them for Christmas, for example. This time, he bought them dildos.

“Yeah, yeah,” he laughed, waving Uriel off, “Say that again and I’m totally not believing you anymore.” He is excited for the little Raines though. Even if he may not seem like it, he does have a soft spot for all things cute and cuddly. Rest assured, little baby Raines will be spoiled to death (if possible) by (self-proclaimed) uncle Zac.

“That’s not a question my little brats,” he replied, stopping by when they reached his car. “Get in, I’m kidnapping you.” Once he was sure the twins were tucked in his car (and will not escape), he promptly revved his engine and drove down the hill. They have to stop by his house to pick up some supplies first anyway.

“So,” asked the mimic through the rear mirror with a smirk on his face, “What’s this I’m hearing about a particular gestalt pair in Hammel going after a girl in town? Is there any truth to all these rumors?”

Zac’s a big stalker. Sorry guys.
