Aki wasn't the kind of person to act realy silly. More or less she like pranks, and trouble, running, and on occasion mixing them all together. But everyonce in a great while she could hold her crazy temper long enough to amuse some of the younger kids with some funny antics. The dark skinned girl was just standing there talking to a bunch of the youngsters in the hall. She wasn't doing much, and they were so....well, so amusing inthemselves. It gave her plenty of ideas for later pranks she could pull on them. At thier insistence they were playing the mime game, and she slowly built the box around her, all pretend and good games. It must have been a box that was four feet in every direction, and about five or so high. The she had planned on jumping and grabbing one of the kids.

Ya. No.

As she jumped her face slammed into a hard, very invisible surface. Her nose crunched and she could feel warm blood going down her face. Her eyes were crossed, and she was in general confused. It didn't work like that.
" What the hell?" She yelled, and the little students backed away at the same time as some of the older students walked over to see what the trouble maker as upto.

" I CAN'T GET OUT OF A FUCKING IMAGINARY BOX!" She screamed at the top of her lungs. Did this have something to do with the rash of powers popping up? She sinceerely hoped not.

So Izzy wasn't freezing time today. He'd actually been moving around just like normal, and he couldn't quite figure out why. You know, until he'd tried to pick up his gear for class and found it to be a lot lighter than he remembered. Curious, he started poking around, trying to test the limits of his strength. About the time he'd stacked Trouble, a sofa, a stool, and a desk on one hand, he figured he was doing pretty good.

Actually, he figured he was probably superman now, but he was willing to go with it. Beat the hell out of dealing with time skips. Plus, Izzy actually knew exactly what time it was. That fact made him so chipper that he chirped the time every so often, sometimes even greeting random people in the hall with a "It's ten oh six in the morning!"

Perfectly normal behavior.

You know, like screaming about imaginary boxes.

"Uh, are you sure?" asked Izzy. He worked his way to the front of the crowd "gently" nudging them aside. Turns out he was still working on adapting to the new power, though his control was certainly better than it had ever been with his original power. He stopped a few feet from Aki, blinking and staring at her. He finally raised a finger, pointing at her.

"Aren't you one of the girls who sprayed me with water? Like, in the first week I was here or something? Funny, but I don't remember you as having invisible box powers. Did you tick someone else off or something?"

Seemed a legitimate question to Izzy, and he was starting to wonder if he should be trying to help or joining in the taunting at this point...

She pounded on the "box" or another emoment before really letting it sink in tat that just wasn't ging to do any good. It was a freaking box. People were passing through it, coming close to her, but she couldn't move out of the small area she had drawn her "box" in. What had she done? Aki honestly didn't have any concept of the ability she had.

That's when he showed up.

The kid she had seen in the office, spraying him unmercifally with water. She wanted to reach out and say something telepathically, or at least try. The second realization was made. Aki was completely alone i her head. For the first time since, well, since her powers had manifested she was completely and utterly alone, locked in her own consciousness. There were no other sounds, nothing, no chatter or background buzz of words zipping around her. It was the most strange feeling, and for a moment she almost choked on it.

" I have no clue what I did. All I know is tha I'm alone in my head for the first time ever and locked ina box without keys. An invisible box that doesn't seem to be affecting anyone else." Her voice was reaching a slightly desperate note. This was something out of her control and she wasn't used to having anything so...utterly not dependant on her. On her control, her knowing things, anything. She flipped the bird to someone who shoved by her as they raced down the hall, slamming her into the invisible wall she had unwittingly built around herself.

" Do you happen to know anything about powers that build boxes that only affect one person?" She asked Izzy in a sort of desperate, angry, bewildered tone.

Still tempting to leave her there to rot. But Aki sounded so terrified, so stressed, that Izzy couldn't help it. He had to admit that he sort of missed his own power as well, but the trade off for him had just been so much better that he hadn't stopped to think about it. But having something like what Aki had, where you were constantly used to something, then having that stripped away.

"I don't know much about powers, period," admitted Izzy. He slung his backpack off his shoulder and took a step forward. One hand stretched out, waving in the general area that seemed to be Aki's box. His hand passed through the air, not at all affected. Curious, Izzy shifted his hand down till his fingers were brushing against Aki's arm.

"Huh, so it does just affect you," he said. Realizing that she'd just said that, Izzy winced, looking at her with an apologetic expression. "Right, well, uh, I'd try to destroy it, but it's not there for me."

He waved his other hand in the area again. Taking a deep breath, Izzy stared at the area. He backed up, though still kept a hand on Aki. Curious, he tried taking another step back. He had super strength now, right? Could he use Aki to break the box? or would the box break her?

"I think I got an idea," said Izzy. "Just, uh, let me know if it hurts, or something."

Another step back, then another...

He admitted to not knowing much about powers and for a moment pure blind panic hit her. Was she going to be stuck in this damn box until the end of time? The girl watched as he came in her box, and then out. It didn't affect him one bit either, just like the other people who had come along and shoved her into it. She wasn't really sure what was going on. Inside she was mentally reviewing what she could do, which felt weird because being alone in her head was so.....sad. Alone. Quiet. On a whole it just felt wrong, being so sort of utterly alone in her own mind.

" Okay then." Her tone was sort of hushed, unsure, which was unusual for the confident girl. She never had anything to fear, but now? Lately everything had been all topsy turvy and she hated it. He put a hand on her and she flinched slightly, just because she was expecting an influx of thoughts that never came. If she was stuck like this it would take some time to get used to.

"I think I got an idea," I zzy said to her. "Just, uh, let me know if it hurts, or something." He started backing up, more towards where the box was. As he grew closer Aki got more worried. He wasn't being stopped, so where would she stop? Would she stop?

Ya. She would.

As Izzy pulled her forward the coppery girl hit the edge of the box, which seemed to have expanded some. She yelped and drew away, holding her face [which had hit the invisible surface]. Something then occurred to her. Izzy didn't seem to believe there was really even a box there. The looks of doubt that flickered across her face told her that. So what if she just.....wished it away? Maybe that would work. Okay smart ass wall. I wish you were gone! Since no one would here her thoughts anyway she didn't feel so silly thinking them.

She stepped forward, and nothing happened. Wall defeated.

" Okay, that was weird." She said, looking back at Izzy.

Okay, so that hadn't worked quite like Izzy had hoped. The idea was that his newly found super strength would let him break the box, or that the sudden tugging would get Aki to break it, or something. Okay, it wasn't exactly the most well thought out plan in existence, but Izzy didn't exactly have a lot to work with right now. He wasn't even sure this was a meta thing, instead of a "girl is going crazy" thing.

"Sorry about that," Izzy tried. Part of him was going but it was payback for spraying me with water on like my third day here, but that part was relatively small, all things considered. For the most part, Izzy looked appropriately abashed.

He stood back as Aki did... something. He wasn't quite sure what was going on, but she seemed to not be dealing with the box anymore. Izzy looked over at her, smiling.

"Looks like you killed the box," said Izzy. He waved his hand in the general box area, not hitting anything. Then again, Izzy hadn't really been able to hit something before, a fact he really should have remembered before waving his hand around like an idiot.

Hand down. Concerned expression. "You don't need to go to the infirmary or something, right? I mean, invisible boxes, that's, uh, kinda strange."

Then again, lots of things at Hammel would earn you a one way trip to a looney bin anywhere else, so there was a rather loose guideline there.
