So Delicious (Angel)

Eddie was wandering around the school. There was a damn PlayStation update and he knew it was going to be a very, very long one, so he took to wandering the school. He wasn't looking for anything really, just something to do.

Walking down a random hall way, Eddie could smell the most delicious smell ever. With his nose leading the way, Eddie make his way into the Home Ec Classroom. He had no idea there even was a home ec class here, and found himself surprised to find numerous plates of cookies placed on a table.

Eddie loved sweets. Especially cookies. Grabbing on cookie, Eddie stuffed it into his mouth, and let out a low moan. It was delicious! Probably one of the best cookies he had ever tasted in his whole life. Grabbing another cookie from another plate now, Eddie stuffed that one into his mouth too, and it was just a delicious. He was going crazy. How did he end up so lucky? To find an empty room with plates of delicious cookies just waiting for him to eat them.

"Oh my God," Eddie said to himself as he put a chocolate chip cookie into his mouth. His favorite type of cookies, and they tasted like an orgasm in his mouth. He had to hold himself up with the table, or he would have swooned with how delicious the cookies were.

That's when he heard some movement behind him, turning quickly Eddie looked to the Home Ec classroom door, and saw the tall blonde girl. With his mouth gaping open, Eddie wiped the cookie crumbs off of his face, "Did you make these amazing cookies?" He asked, a small grin creeping across his face. "I thought I had died and gone to heaven," he laughed and picked up a few more cookies.

Taking a bite out of the cookie, Eddie had to stop himself from melting away with its deliciousness, "Oh my God," He moaned again, and laughed. The girl was beautiful, and Eddie was being stupid. He didn't know what to do, or say, so he just stuffed his face so he couldn't say anything.

Chewing, Eddie watched the girl's face to see her reaction. She didn't look too amused at the fact he was stuffing his face on her cookies. "Sorry I ate your cookies," Eddie said with his mouth full, and put the cookies back. "They're just so damn good," he smiled, and swallowed loudly. "Milk would be totally awesome with these bad boys." He awkwardly chuckled, and scratched the back of his head.

"Could I possibly buy some cookies off of you?" Eddie asked timidly, as he thought of how amazing the cookies would taste if he was stoned.

After a full day of classes, Angel went to check on her culinary creations. She had made a lot with Aaron, the bubbly boy, and had left them in the classroom to keep until she was done. She planned on giving the beignets to Aiden, her brother, and maybe send some to her parents, because she knew they missed Aiden’s cooking and her baking.

As soon as she opened the door, she stopped, seeing the boy eating her food. “Yes, I did,” she said a bit angrily. Those had been saved for her brother! It filled her with pride that he liked them so much, but he didn’t have to keep eating them. She walked over to him and took some cookies off his hands, putting them back on the plate. “They were going to be for my brother, but seeing as someone ate them, you can have them now,” she said, her accent thick in her throat.

Angel looked at him as he asked to buy cookies off her. “I make these cookies to make people happy, not to sell them for a profit,” she told him as she shrugged off her backpack and rooted around for the Ziploc bags. She started bagging the cookies and treats, leaving the plate of chocolate chunk cookies for the boy. “My name’s Angel,” she said, looking at him with her silvery blue eyes. “And you are?”

Eddie stood their quietly as the tall blonde explained that the cookies had been for her brother. Swallowing loudly again, Eddie became flushed. He felt like such an idiot, her brother was probably dying in a hospital somewhere, and here he was stuffing his face with the cookies. Eddie was now mentally beating himself for being so stupid. How could he have just expected to come in here and eat most of the cookies, and not expect to upset someone? Well he knew he was going to upset someone, but the fact that that someone was this beautiful blonde in front of him made Eddie feel even stupider than usual.

As the girl approached him, Eddie did not allow his eyes to fall off of the girl. He tried at that second to learn everything about her face, the way she walked, the way she talked. He didn't know if he would ever see her again, and he kind of assumed that she wanted nothing to do with him after his little stunt. He wanted a mental photograph of the most beautiful girl he'd ever met.

Then the girl told him that the cookies were made for enjoyment and not for profit which Eddie didn't understand, this girl could make a killing selling her cookies, Eddie thought to himself.

"Shit. Sorry..." Was all Eddie could muster out without choking over his own words. He was tongue tied. He wanted to apologize for being so obnoxious and just stealing her cookies but nothing was coming out. How could his words come out? It was like he had just seen an angel and was still recovering from the shock of her beauty.

Eddie just stood back and watched as the blonde packed away the cookies into Ziploc bags. That's when she introduced herself. Angel, Eddie almost wanted to laugh, her name suited her perfectly. She was an angel on Earth. At least from her appearance she was angelic. "Ed Smith. But people call me Eddie." He said awkwardly, as his green eyes met with her blue eyes. Eddie felt his heart skip a beat, as he held his breath. What the hell was he feeling inside?

"Hey look..." Eddie began to speak as he watched the blonde cleaning up. "I'm really sorry, I, I just don't know what I was thinking. I just saw the cookies, and the smell. God damn the smell. I just couldn't control myself..." He chuckled and scratched the back of his head. "I'm really. Like REALLY sorry."

After a moment of awkward silence, Eddie looked around the room and then back at Angel, "So how did you learn to bake like that? You're amazing!" He smiled timidly. And amazingly beautiful, he thought to himself, but he knew better than to actually comment like that. She would be freaked out, beautiful girls like her did not need to hear how beautiful they were from nerdy guys like Eddie, and he knew that. If Eddie was better looking, he knew that Angel would have swooned over him, but because he was who he was, he knew she wouldn't pay any mind to him, and if she did, he would automatically be friend zoned. But he tried. He really, really tried.

He apologized, but it didn’t ease the hurt that she had over him eating her cookies. Now Aiden wouldn’t have enough and she wouldn’t be able to send any to her parents. Angel didn’t have a job and she couldn’t necessarily ask the school to use their supplies, so she was left without supplies to make more cookies. He gave her his name as she finished bagging the cookies and stowed them away in her bag, leaving the plate that he had eaten off of.

“Sorry doesn’t always fix everything, Eddie,” she said, facing him. She wore a camisole under a light peach sweater that was open over her chest and jeans with boots, and her arms crossed over her chest. “It fixes booboos when you’re little and it earns forgiveness when someone is about to leave this life, but this…sorry doesn’t fix this.” Maybe she was being a bit harsh, but she didn’t like it when someone didn’t ask permission to eat something she had made and left to collect later.

At least he was trying, which she gave him credit for, and the compliments eased the anger aside. “My father taught me how to bake,” she said, sighing softly and releasing her hair from its braid. The wild golden curls twined down her back like shafts of twisting sunlight, framing her heart-shaped face and making her silvery blue eyes appear darker. “He taught me when I was very little, and my mother taught my twin brother how to cook. Between the two of us, you could get a five course meal with six different desserts, if you wanted.”

Walking to the plate of chocolate chunk cookies, she placed them on a paper plate and slipped the plate into the sink. “Since you ate some, these are yours,” she told him, gesturing to the food. “I’ll give them to you, but next time there’s food on a plate here, don’t eat it until you’ve asked permission, okay?” She smiled shyly.

Eddie watched the girl and quietly listened to her speak. Shame was written all over his face when Angel told him that "sorry" wasn't going to be enough. And she was right, he had just walked in and eaten all of her hard work. As she continued talking, Eddie listened with shame but also tried his best not to laugh. Oh yeah, he was a little bit high at the moment, but he had also just heard Angel say, "booboo" and he didn't know people still said that word. He noticed then that him and Angel were from two different worlds. It was obvious that they spoke differently, but they also did different things. Could this possibly be a good thing? Or bad? Good he hoped.

When Angel started talking about how she had learned to cook, Eddie's mind stopped wandering about the way she talked, and fully focused on her story. As Eddie watched Angel he noticed her take her hair out of her braid. With her hair now down and free, Eddie had to keep himself from letting out a gasp. She was even more beautiful than before. He didn't even think that was possible, but she was. Her hair was like sunshine, and Eddie just wanted to run his hand through it. "That sounds amaaazing." Eddie said almost drooling at the idea of a five course meal created by Angel and her twin brother. Eddie couldn't imagine how amazing her brother's food must taste, if her baking was this good.

"Awesome!" Eddie slightly squealed when Angel said he could have the rest of the chocolate chunk cookies he had started eating before, he knew he didn't deserve them, but they were so amazing delicious.

When Angel told Eddie to get permission next time, this caused Eddie to flush a soft pink. "Hah. Yeah..." He said quietly, scratching the back of his head. "Sorry about that again..." He chuckled softly, and scratched his head again. "Hey, how about I help you pay for some of the stuff you need. Y'know? Like your supplies and stuff. Cause I owe you. For devouring your goodies." He offered with a smile.
