Thread Roulette: Questionable Office

Naomi Green, Evan Brackett, and Rhett Goddard are all waiting in the main office for...something.

Rules: Your characters may only speak in questions.

"How long are they going to make us wait?" demanded Naomi. Her accent mixed with her impatience to give the words an even stronger snap than they normally would have had. The girl shifted to look at the door, narrowing her eyes as she did. They'd called them all here, and she wasn't entirely certain why. Dozens of reasons flitted across her mind, and none of them were particularly good.

Looking around the room didn't help. Naomi didn't recognize either of the other two, so she couldn't tell what they would possibly be in for either. For all she knew, they'd gathered all the meta-supremists together so they could eliminate them in one fell swoop. The other two did look a little shifty, after all.

Should she ask them questions? No, that wouldn't do her any good. Better to remain relatively quiet for now, see what they had to say to each other. Then, once Naomi learned something, she could possibly go a little further. She'd already added something to the air anyway.

So, for now, she simply alternated between looking at the other two impatiently and staring at the door. Somewhere in the back of her mind, she recalled that people often made people wait in order to put them in a more hectic mood. Clearly, it was working, at least, with her.

[Rhett Goddard]

Rhett was calm. It's not like he hadn't done anything... no... there was no actual hones way to finish that train of thought with honesty. Lately Rhett had been doing bad deed behind bad deed, if he had been caught with one, it was only fair and about time it happened. Or maybe this all could just be about him moving out? It wasn't likely, thought, or he would have been asked to Ms. Wilson instead of to the main building.

At first he didn't think it was weird that two other students were patiently waiting as well in there since lots of students come to the offices everyday to... solve problems? He wasn't quite sure what they would need to be done here, but he didn't know them anyway, so he couldn't really go ahead and link their waiting situation to his own that quickly.

"Why did you come here if you're in a hurry?" Rhett asked with his arms crossed, leaning back in his chair and looking at the ceiling. "Weren't you aware that, no matter if doctors, executives or administrative people, it's always like this in offices?"
