A frustrated growl escaped the Irish boy when he saw that his armoured form did nothing to deter the redhead’s bravado. In some ways, it’s just like looking in a mirror – with the whole arrogance and stubbornness and all that. Heaven knows if Romeo was a little less dense he’d realize this and see why people get so fed up with him at times. Maybe he’d even become less of a douche. It doesn’t seem like it’ll happen within the foreseeable future, but hey, there’s nothing wrong with hoping right?
“Compromise? Are you serious?” He didn’t mean to shout at Cassidy – she’s annoying yes, but only because she has this squeaky voice and she insists on watching Beiber sing – but he’s just so irritated with Odion that he just couldn’t control himself even more. “You really think there’s such a thing as compromise with this snooty git? And why do you even watch World News? Will knowing what’s happening in France or Indonesia affect what you’re doing in here now?” Unless they’re planning on bombing Vermont, Romeo thinks, hearing about them is pretty useless. That so what if they’re having riots and rallies and wars halfway across the globe, not like it’ll affect him. Such a short-sighted view really, considering how interconnected the world currently is. “Can you even understand what they’re saying?”
He slowly approached Odion, ignoring the foot that threatens to kick him away (he’s pretty sure with his armour, it’d hurt the redhead more than it’ll hurt him) and stops when his face is just inches from the boy’s. “Remote please?” he asked with a smirk of his own, cocking his head to the side. “Would you just give me an hour for Robot Chicken, after which I’ll return the remote to you and your boring World News?”
