Vocal Hypnotism ~ When Alice speaks, her words become verbal commands almost impossible to resist. When using this power, Alice pushes her verbal commands or verbal requests upon a person. This does not mean she can force anyone to do anything she wishes however. Alice cannot make someone do something they cannot do, such as fly, nor can she make someone kill themselves as the will to survive is almost impossible to override. Her commands generally work better when phrased certain ways such as: "Would you kindly" or "Please". The more elaborate or out of character a request or command Alice pushes onto a person, the less likely it is for her command to work. Alice must be able to speak for her ability to work and the target must be able to hear her clearly. A downside to this ability is strained vocal chords which could lead to a loss of her voice for a short period of time and a very overpowering personality type who thinks she must always have her way which leads to severe anger issues.

General Appearance: Alice has been described as a short petite young woman with a not so delicate nature. She has shoulder length blond hair which is semi-curly and intense blue eyes which tend to attract the gaze of those around her. She has high arching eye brows with a small nose and mouth which give her a very intense and determined look. Her complexion is near flawless with a soft golden glow about her, a testament to Alice's vanity. She prefers make-up which accent her eyes and mouth with just a soft golden looking base to accent natural skin tone. She most often prefers to use a soft black around her eyes to give them a shadowed appearance and draw more attention there. She likes soft pink lipstick with a slightly darker shade of pink lip liner to bring a more fuller look to her lips. Her nails are always painted or styled and her hands are smooth, free of any sort of callous or scars. She is a fanatical about keeping her teeth as flawless as possible and has had minor dental work to perfect the small imperfections she perceived there.
As for Alice's style of dress, it varies in accordance to her mood and physical situation. She prefers the freedom which long dresses provide her and tops which usually plunge low in the neckline but fit loosely around the rest of her frame. When engaged in art activity however, Alice prefers an old pair of blue jeans and tank top or maybe a pair of overalls. This choice of dress is reserved for artful activities only as she thinks ladies should dress as such and not like some tomboy.
Alice carries herself well and as a lady should. Her head held high and her chin up per say. Her walk is always determined and forceful as is her gaze. Her eyes always have this fierce and wild look about them. Everything about Alice screams vanity and a lust for material things, even things of a more fleshly nature.
Personality:Alice is a very vain and greedy person who is used to getting whom and what she wants. She has a very fierce appetite for power and glory and always seeks attention in some form or fashion. Being the center of attention, preferably positive, is always a must and all others matters which do not concern her are trivial. Alice's wants and needs always come first and she feels they should be satisfied quickly and joyfully.
Sexually, Alice has an appetite for either sex, preferring woman over men though. In a relationship with a woman, Alice is always the more dominant figure and takes the lead role. When aroused she is very forceful and doesn't take kindly to having her advances rejected. Alice likes a rough hand, both in giving and receiving. She is both a sadist and masochist so finding lovers to quell her appetite are far and few between. Those she does manage to trap in a corner, are viewed as property to be done with as Alice pleases.
Lastly, Alice isn't exactly your typical woman as she tends to teeter from one end of sanity to the other. She isn't insane by any means but emotionally she happens to be a roller coaster. One second, she might be relaxed and carefree and then something pretty waltzes by and then she's moved to a more hungry and sexual position, making her rather aggressive and obsessive.

History
Alice was born into a family of vanity and desire and ruled by the desire to always be praised for their efforts. Thomas is son of an antique dealer and just like his father, pursued the occupation, delving into more darker markets though. The drive for having the impossible allowed Thomas to increase the wealth he inherited from his father, for Thomas' clients had tastes for things which weren't exactly legal to have. Priceless paintings or urns from dig sites go missing all the time during transportation and that is Thomas' specialty for you see, when you can teleport, stealing anything is possible. As for Alice's mother, she too is a vain and beautiful woman, always craving more and more money, something her husband provides in spades.
Having a daughter was planned of course, for despite their selfishness, both Thomas and Angela desired a family. It might have been out of more attention as those with cute babies get all sorts of stares. Alice was born in San Francisco, California in 1991, at the family home with their own personal doctor there to deliver her. Nothing was spared in announcing the birth of their child for every paper within a hundred miles heralded the birth of Alice Miriam Halifax. A bit of an overkill, but only the start for young miss Halifax.
Growing up, Alice had the best tutors and nannies that their money could afford and growing up in a more liberal state, Alice formed her own unique ideas and tastes. Her parents often noticed bruises on their daughter but were unsure of how or why they got there. They never suspected that their darling young miss was fond of hurting herself and to later extents, select members of the staff. At fifteen, Alice was discovered in a rather unusual act. Her mother had walked into the kitchen one day, to witness the maid cutting herself while Alice looked on with a very disturbing smile. Needless to say, the event was covered up with a payoff to the maid, but things were only beginning. Over the next few days, both Thomas and Angela noticed that neither one of them could ever say no to their daughter, in fact no one could. It was then that Thomas began to suspect what his daughter might be.
Having graduated from Hammel himself, Thomas knew it wouldn't be long before a recruiter showed up to lay claim to Alice. Within two weeks and much more of Alice's unique 'demands', a Hammel recruiter did indeed show up and it didn't take long for the recruiter to classify Alice as a meta and it took even less for Thomas to have his daughter ready to be taught how to harness her powers. He explained to his loving daughter that she was beyond special and the control she had over others was something to have joy in. Alice, not too eager to leave her home and the comforts it had, wrestled with the idea for several long debated hours with the Hammel recruiter. Finally, Alice's eyes opened up to the idea she had not seen at first. She wasn't being abandoned, she was being given the chance to see more of what this interesting world offered and the people it offered for her to use.
Alice had a hard time adjusting to life at Hammel, both academically and socially. The students here were from all different sorts of social classes and some seemed very close minded to the things which Alice considered normal or average. Alice adjusted the best she could and eventually adapted to the classes she took. Academically, Alice did exceptionally well, but only when pushed. Her love she found was art and it turned out she had quite a talent for various forms of it. Painting and sculpting were Alice's favorite things, aside from her power training. By nineteen Alice was pretty much finished with her required academic classes, but chose to stick around for another year of studying art at Hammel before moving onto college. Also, Hammel wasn't too keen on releasing Alice just yet, for while she showed skill with her meta ability, she was yet to realize her full potential.
