So, I just made a game with a friend. It's probably been done before, but I thought I may as well post it here since it's amusing and this is a meta-human site.

The game is simple.
Go to this sit HERE and click the 'random page' button. That is now your superpower. Click it again, and that is the superpower of your arch-nemesis. Post your results here and, if you like, tell us how you would use your powers to fight crime (or commit it I guess, if you're like that), this might be obvious unless the power is somewhat obscure.


So, starting off.

Trister's superpower is: Spatial Manipulation
There are quite a few interesting applications, I mostly like the folding space stuff, allowing for a kind of teleportation or phasing, so I guess i'd mostly use that. There's a lot of applications listed there though.

Trister's nemesis has: Digital Materialisation
The ability to turn data from the internet, a video game, or other digital information from cyber space into solid matter. Considering the stuff available on the internet and in games... that's a tough one to fight =D

Sharky's Power: Gun Limbs. Self-explanatory?

Sharky's Nemesis:
Corruption Inducement. Basically, getting people to be more willing or less aware of doing morally questionable things.

Solution: keep my enemy from getting too close by turning all my limbs into super cannons and firing at him. Of course if I were a character I would totally let myself be corrupted, just for funsies.

Cat's power = Extrasensory Perception

The user can instantly learn whatever they wish. This applies to any and all kinds of information, knowledge, wisdom, experience, etc. Information can be either personal (memories, thoughts, etc.) or impersonal (academic knowledge, data, etc.). This ability can be used passively (as an instinctual reaction) or actively (by wanting to know specific information).


Cat's nemesis power = Cloth Manipulation

The user can manipulate all 'soft' materials, most notably cloth and silk. They may or may not be able to manipulate organic materials.

[Kali Caraway]

Nanners' has the gift of Photographic Deduction, which means she can figure out connections in whatever the user is investigating and process them extraordinarily fast. If she were to see someone writing something, just by watching the pen move, she can see what it is they have drawn or written. Another adaptation to this power would be the ability to read lips even from a very far distance.

Her arch-nemesis has the ability of Weapon Proficiency, which would be the Ability to understand and use any and all weapons with the proficiency of a master. Which kinda sounds unfair to me.

Cuppy's power: Ice Fire Manipulation! Which is pretty frickin' awesome in my opinion! But it pretty much says it in the name, the ability to manipulate both fire and ice. Woot woot!

Cuppy's nemesis: Disease Mimicry. Which.... I'm not sure what, if any, use this would be except to make people think you're legitimately sick when you're not and get their sympathy. Munchausen to the extreme.

Conclusion: Um... I... don't know? I'd freeze him in a block of ice? Then go on my merry way of causing destruction. XD

Kallisti's power - Energy Absorption: absorb various forms of energy and utilize it in some way, such as converting it into physical strength or using it to power energy blasts.

Arch-nemesis power - Sleep Manipulation: control the sleep functions of oneself and in others.



o.o I think I would drain various forms of energy and convert them into adrenaline and caffeine to combat the sleepiness, then ambush my enemy with a rag that smells suspiciously of chloroform.

Penny has Plant Manipulation, which allows her to make plants grow with supernatural speed and to abnormal sizes. Poison Ivy with more clothes?

Jam has Artificially-Enhanced Physiology, basically meaning he's got like cyber arms and whatnot. This apparently makes him like Azreal, or maybe, I dunno, Cyborg or something.

Whatever. I could totally take him. Aside from all the poisonous plants, there's also all those hallucinogenics. He wouldn't be able to shoot straight. And you have heard of Venus Jam Traps, right?

[Zebadiah Hayes]

Abi's Power - Soul Apsorbtion- The user is capable of stealing and consuming the souls of others, often adding the victim's skills and abilities to their own.

Abi's Nemesis has: Life-Force Beam Emission - The user can project beams of concentrated spiritual energy/life-force. They can deal great damage, possibly even enough to vaporize/disintegrate.

Conclusion... I think I'd scare myself if I had that power.
