WANTED: One advertising Mod (FILLED)

Mads and I have decided that we are in need of a little help with this board, particularly in the area of advertising. So we're looking for a mod to help us out.

Responsibilities:

• Advertising Hammel on other sites.
  
• Keeping up with linking back to sites that post here.
  
• Finding good sites with which to affiliate and keeping track of affiliation.
  
• Making more ads, if you want to.
  
• Reminding Tony to bump the ad on Caution 2.0 weekly

Perks:

• Nifty stripey icon in the sidebar.
  
• A goofy nickname from your loving admins. (negotiable)
  
• The title of Ad Wench. (not-quite-as negotiable)

I am totally capable of taking on the responsibilities listed. In fact, it wasn't long ago that I agreed to do exactly that and more on a site I am an admin on with a group of friends. Recently one friend has taken on advertising and other admin duties for the most part so I've grown kind of bored- that and the site has slowed down, hence me joining this one. So the chance of getting back to the things I was doing is nothing to object to. I would gladly do it <3

But if someone else wishes to have the position, I would not mind if you gave it to them. I sort of don't want to do it because it's one thing to take on the position when I know the person who's site I'm doing it for, and another matter entirely to agree to it on a site where I'm fairly new. It's sort of daunting, really. As a result, I would prefer you give the spot to someone you're already familiar with rather than me if they want the spot. If they do not, I would be happy to do it.

Heya Arikan,

It seems you're becoming somewhat critical to our site, what with the adoption of Niko (which Tony and I need to discuss with you at some point, but that's entirely beside the point at hand), and now this.

It sounds like you're experienced, which is great! I'll admit, I'm not the greatest promoter in the world, and as the site grows, Tony and I will have much more to do here to keep our members happy. So to have someone to take care of the advertising would be fantastic.

You might be new, but you're stepping up to the plate, which is great to see! We can see how you feel in the role, and if there comes a time where it becomes a little much (remembering to remind Tony of things is a job in and of itself ^_~) then we can consider a second moderater, or if you're really not enjoying it, we can pass the torch along.

What we'll need you to do is set up a new account, which you'll use as the ad moderator's account. Tony can then give you access to the admin panel, so you can do your job. It's not a character account, just something simple, like Tony's or my admin accounts.

Now the only question is... what are we going to nickname you? ^_~
