Control:" umm, like a five out of ten I guess. I still have alot to learn."

" Wait, you want me to tell you about my power? Um....okay then. Well, it's illusions. An illusion is anything that fools the senses, so basically my powers are sort of brain-slanting. Individually I can completely fool any one sense perfectly. I can kinda do two senses, and any more than that I haven't figured out how to do well yet. They're pretty horrible. Oh! The cool thing is that my illusions fool more than just the normal senses. They can fool meta-human senses to. Like, anything that is informational input thats a meta-power? I can fool it. So, power sensing, tracking, super enhanced perception...stuff like that. It's ridiculously hard though and I still have a really long way to go. I'm nowhere near as good with those as I am with normal sense-fooling. Even if it's only one sense! I'm working on it real hard though because I want it to be perfect someday!

" Okay, so for all that my powers are pretty leet and stuff there's plenty of bad about them. I get these way bogus migraines all the time. I mean, to the point where in the past few years I've started to carry a bottle of brain-ache medicine with me. And that's the least of my problems. When I use my powers my own senses go haywire. They're either really strong or really weak, and I can never tell which is going to happen. There's even a possibility I might lose some of my senses completely if I'm not careful. I know my sense of pain is already pretty screwy. Also, people say I' a little paranoid. So what if I'm jumpy at time?! It's not my fault! Actually, it is. Nevermind then."

" Well, there's plenty of stuff I want to do with my power. Gain full control for one thing. I'd have to be completely cracked not to want that. If I' not already cracked anyway like everyone says I am. Hmm, what else. Well, I'd like to try and not lose my sense when I'm practicing, I don't want my power to become a crutch to be able to know anything all all. That would be horrible. I do want to be able to completely fool people, meta sense and all. That is my biggest goal. Other than that I'm not really sure, because I don't know what I can use my powers for."
Play By: " People say I look kinda like Sena Belal. But she's a model and I'm definitely not that pretty.

The Details

Hair Color:" My hair? It's a really dark black brown most of the time. But I like to dye it sometimes. I've done purple and gold and white...ya. I like those kinds of colors!"
Eye Color:" My eyes are kind of olive-ish with little bits of yellow near the centers. "
Any Piercings?" I have a bunch of piercings in my ears. I kindof lost count. But I only have them in my ears, nowhere else."
Any Tattoos?" No. They wouldn't show up very well on my skin. It's too dark."
Any Scars?" Ya. My scars stick out pretty clearly. I have one on my back, well, on my left shoulder from when I fell out of a tree. I smashed up my shoulder and stuff and had to get surgery. Theres also a scar on my foot because I once dropped scissors. It was horrible, but it didn't really hurt. Other than that there are just little spots and dots and stripes here and there."
General Appearance:
" Okay, so what I look like right? Well, I'm short for one thing. Only five feet tall. Its okay though because I don't mind. Life is more fun this way! Umm, I'm a pretty thin person, with long arms and legs. I would say I'm in pretty good shape because I'm a really active person. Let's see...My skin is a really dark sort of amber brown. I think it's pretty. You might even call it coppery except I don't glitter. I'll leave that to the twilight vampires. My hair is crazy crazy curly and a real dark black brown, except when I dye it. My eyes are olivey-green with little yellow flecks in them.

Umm, I dress however I want. So somtimes it's really crazy and flamboyant and other times it's just really simple. It's fun to see the looks that people give me when they see me. All colorful and stuff. I don't like real fribbetty stuff though, with lace and ruffles and the like. That just annoys me. Umm, my voice is soft and friendly I guess. I think it sounds like a music box. I don't really sing much, except for little short songs. I don't have a good singing voice. What else? Well, uh. I have piano fingers? Ya. That's me in a nutshell really. Oh! I forgot to say I almost always have some kind of jwelry on. I like sparkly things.
Personality:
"Okay, so I have a rather mercurial personality. Really,people say I'm a bit over the edge and eccentric at times. I think alot of stuff at a time, and sometimes people don't really understand what I'm saying, even if it is really simple. I like to share all my thoughts because..well... I thik they're interesting. My oldest sister says I have verbal diarrea, but that's a matter of opinion I guess. Umm, another term I've heard it called it radical honesty. I just say everything I think pretty much, Ya know, no lying and all that fun stuff. I guess I'm kind of impulsive at times. I don't really think about the things I do, I just do them for funsies. Let's see, I'm trying to think of stuff my family has said about me. Some of the nicer things anyway. Uncontrolable, willful, spirited, unpredictable, chaotic, messy, silly, easily entertained...ya. Stuff like that.

I guess I have a few definite downfalls that have been there my whole life. I don’t really seem to know when to stop or be quiet. It’s part of the fact that I really just trust everyone. Often times people have take advantage of me being so trusting, and trick me. I just like to see the best in everyone. Sometimes I don't even see it coming. Another issue is my sense of privacy, or more accurately, lack of. While I'm not going to creep on people or anything I do like to look at everything and I have a thing with haveing to touch everything I can get her fingers on. I don't really understand why people have to be so private and stuff. It's boring!

I'm not really the violent type, and it doesn’t take that much to stop me. Five foot midgets aren’t really much of a threat. I'm always asking people questions because I want to know stuff! I don't really acknowledge rules. They just don't exist in my eyes. They're boring, and they make people angry and just cause a whole big fracasy mess. Let's see. I sleep funny. umm, Ren calls it an erratic sleeping pattern. I just sleep whenever I feel like it. I love to curl up in comfy chairs by a fire. I LOVE to cuddle, especially people. That's the best.

I guess I'm an extrovert. I want to know everyone Seriously. Sometimes I just start talking to people for the funsies. Just to talk and get to know them. What I hate is when people tell me I talk funny. I know this already. It's how I've always been. And I'm good at telling people things they don't want to know about. It's written all over thier faces! I can't hep it sometimes. So ya...."

Please don't tell anyone. I'm trying to get better about it, I really am! I promise. What else? Umm, Sometimes little things make me freak out and panic and stuff. Oh! My big secret... I have this thing called..uh.... hold on, I can't say it. Lemme spell it. S-Y-N-E-S-T-H-E-S-I-A. That's it. My senses are a little funny because of it, past what goes wrong because of my powers. I hear colors and see music, and letters and numbers are colorful. And stuff....everything around me has a feeling to it. You know? Like the chair I sat in the other day. It was a very, very grumpy chair."

Family Ties

Father:" My dads name is Connor McKay. He's 60 right now. His meta power is technopathy. He's a really smart person and owns a small computer buisness."
Mother:" My mom? Her names Tamora McKay. Her last name used to be O'Connel. She's an heiress and is 58 years old. She isn't gifted."
Siblings:" Oh wow, you want me to list them all? Okay, here goes them.
So first is Renata. She's the oldest of us at 23, and she's a local in town. Her power is telekinesis.
The theres Borran. He's also 23, and he's not gifted. He's the only one of my sibling who isn't.
Umm, then theres Linden. he's a technopath and a university student. He's 21.
Ceri is next, being 20 and a local. She has telepathy.
After her is Jaythen. He's 19 and just got out of Hammel last year, so he doesn't have a job yet. He's a dopplegager!
Last is Kierri. She's also a student here, but she's a year older than me at 17. She's a telepath like Ceri.
One thing about the group of us is that we're all adopted kids. That's why there's so many of us. Mom can't have kids, somethings wrong with her. So she has us instead!"
Any Other Important People:Pets countI don't know my biological parents. None of us do. There are a feew cats who wander around the house. None of us are really dog people. Okay, that not true. I'm just not a dog person.

History

" Okay. So I'm the very last child my parents adopted. See, they both have alot of money so they knew they could take care of a bunch of kids. Threy both loved kids anyway! We were adopted at birth and moved to Scotland where we all lived in a big house. It's really cool. Now, Renata was the first to manifest, so for a little while she went to Kocher. Borran didn't manifest obviously, and Linden did. He went to Kocher for a bit too. But neither of them liked it much, so when Ceri manifested the whole family upped sticks and moved to Pilot Ridge so we could go to Hammel. It's supposed to be the best school right? Ayway, so for a while I went to the regular school there in town. Most people didn't like me cause..well, I'm me.

Jaythen and then Kierri manifested, and then myself. For a while all three of us where going to school together. It was so cool! I really loved it. I'd get to hang out with them all the time. I didn't stay at the school because we have a really big house in town. Last year Jaythen graduated, and he's not sure yet if he's going to stay in town or go to University. Linden went. Ren and Borran both work in town. They have thier own houses, but they still spend alot of time at the big family house.

Me? I'm enjoying Hammel as much as I can. I've only been here for two years, but I already know alot of people! and I love talking to everyone. I don't think I'll ever want to leave this little town. It's great!"

Roleplay Example

Neki gathered around with all her other characters and decided she was going to be lazy again and not write this because she's rather be threadding instead. She she took her muse and wrote a character and an open thread and hoped the admins and mods wouldn't eat her because of it.
