This time. This time was going to be killer.
Without getting any kind of permission from housing, TK had began setting up the foam machine and fogger in the lobby, making sure that certain things such as the TV were protected in some way… from the foam, at least. Partygoers were a different story and were not his problem.
Punch bowl. Spiked. Of course. TK had already partaken in more than a few cups, so his vision was blurry and he was feeling good for the first time in a long time. His dream was completely forgotten and he could return to being his 'normal' self, at least for the night.
Lights were dimmed and enough glow sticks for thirty or so people. More than one spiked beverage. Food galore. It was a bit classier than last time, with not as much of the unnecessary things laying about, such as fruit and veggies, party hats, and random games on the wall. Nope. This time, none of that was included (TK felt the "veggie-heads", as he called them in his tipsy state, were going to have to deal with the chicken wings).
TK looked around at his work, just like before, and smiled, watching a few of the random students either pass by or stop for food, staying for the music or whatever. More people would be showing up soon. It was only 9. They had until the wee hours, as long as they weren't shut down.
He'd already had another cup of whatever substance was going to be providing everyone with a buzz and was sipping. Tonight was all about forgetting. Forgetting the previous year, forgetting friends that were going to be leaving, and forgetting anything depressing.
Tonight was going to be a good night… hopefully.
