[/font]Romeo’s only been in Kocher for about a week now, and already the Irish teen hates it. It wasn’t so much the climate or the people (he’s only been bullied the first day; after he showed them that he’s not one to be messed around with, they more or less stayed away, to the point of scurrying away like frightened dogs whenever they so much as to catch his scent) as it was the rigidity of the system. The four walls, the strict schedule, the overbearing teachers, good lord it was just too much. He doesn’t see the merit in dissecting classic works of literature (it’s best to enjoy a piece as is, the boy believes), learning how plants reproduce (as long as he knows which one are poisonous and which ones aren’t, why bother) or knowing why a reaction between sodium hydroxide and hydrochloric acid is an explosive one (the demonstration was cool though). The only thing he finds useful out of all these classes they’re forcing him to go to was training, and even that felt very much like garbage. (Clear your mind? Meditate? They can’t be serious, can they?).
Now he understands why Autumn went to that American school. Heaven knows he couldn’t survive here much longer too.
So immediately after class that day, Romeo went straight to the administrative offices, request for transfer in hand. Not used to the whole layout of the school just yet, he got lost for a good half an hour. And when he finally got to the proper floor, he suddenly sneezed, which involuntarily activated his powers and sent his stuff flying all over the hall.
“Bloody…” groaned the boy inwardly, slapping his forehead in irritation as he tried his best to move while willing his plates away (being a statue is so not fun).
Hopefully the floor won’t break on him.
