General Appearance:
Rima outwardly appears closed off. Her overall appearance when somebody first meets her seems gothic, stand-offish, tensed, and very observant, with eyes like a hawk. Her side is more gothic in nature. She has one particular piece of jewelry she likes: a silver circular celtic knot pocket watch with a deep topaz stone in the center. Her favorite shirts are tank tops, and a few button up long sleeves that she’ll wear on certain occasions (usually plain black with a sculpted waist and bust line). Its rare to see her in a dress, but if you do, it will be dark. She’s almost never seen without her white fedora with black pin striping.
Rima is generally good with most fashion sense. When she reads, she wears a pair a thin framed glasses. Her long, dark, black-brown hair is sometimes pigtailed up, which compliments her, but is more often seen loose, where it falls to just below her shoulder blades, or pony-tailed. Her make up usually consists of dark eyeliner and mascara.
Personality:
Rima is very intelligent despite what some people may assume by her dressing and personality habits. By nature she is a very honest person, which may come off as blunt in some cases. While quiet most of the time, she is an alpha leader person, who would rather give orders then follow them. She can have a temper, especially if somebody disrespects her or her friends. When she gets pissed: You better watch out.
Rima will also, because of her temper, take to making grudges easily. She is very defensive of herself and her friends. Once somebody gets to know her she will prove to be a loyal, fun-loving, compassionate, and caring friend although the gothic style and hawk eyes will never leave. Her outer personality to all will seem rough around the edges, but on the inside, Rima is a real sweet person. In the past, some people have described her as insane but stable, due to the extent of side-affects from her powers. These same side- affects can cause her reoccurring migraines, sensitivity to light and sound, and lack of sleep.
On another note: She’s not very religious.

History
Where to begin? Rima was an average child. She had a mother and a father, both of which loved her dearly. They were a happy family living in Brunswick, Maine. Her Father was an instructor at Harvard, and her mother a stay at home mom/ graphic’s designer.
When Rima was 6, it was carefully explained how her Grandparents had mostly died of old age or cancer before she was born. Being the bright girl she was, she starting asking questions and discovered something very traumatizing: cancer, particularly breast cancer, ran in her Mother’s side of the family. Her parents coddled her, assuring her that there wasn’t going to be anything happening to her mother.
That image of calm and peace was shattered when Rima was 8. After several tests, her Mother was diagnosed positive. This terrible event drew the small family closer together. After 10 months fighting a disheartening and painful battle, being bed ridden for the last 6 months, Victoria lost her fight.
4 years later at the age of 12, things started turning wrong again. John was promoted, and in turn started putting the 12 year old with nannies. Rima hated it. To her, it seemed as though her Father was forgetting about her. She started taking community art classes and discovered her love for art. A couple months after she started her period, and after a nasty fight with a Nanny, one of the large paned windows in the living room of her house cracked then exploded. Rima’s wrist was slit then.
John simply didn’t understand, so his rather large salary started being directed around to therapists and councilors. Several stated whispers of Rima’s ‘mental instability’. After a year and few more monstrous months of being passed around, she was saved by some people from the Hammel Institute.
Roleplay Example
Rima sat in the Therapist’s chair, alone for now. The room was bland and professional. The only matter of entertainment was a single painting on the wall, and even that was bland: a duck floating in a pond. She was wearing the white pinstripe fedora, and as usual, had her dark hair pulled loosely over her shoulders. She was wearing a deep grey tank top, which made her fair skin look paler. While her eyes were heavily clad in eyeliner and mascara, the blue-grey still shown brightly in contrast. On the lower half of her body were a pair of black jeans, skinny/flare jeans. Her face had a bored expression. She was leaning back against the wall, letting her finger dance along the scar from her power incident. I’m not insane. But then again, what does it really mean? These things, these voices… Her temper flared at these thoughts, her hand balling into a fist. She could almost imagine that day.
Her Father, John Donavon, was situated in his large office, butt planted in his large leather chair. She had been hiding outside the door, leaving it cracked just enough to catch snippets of speech.
“There’s something wrong with her, John. I’m sorry.” The Therapist was saying.
“What exactly?”
“I can’t be sure, but with all of these rage fits and random breaking of things…. Perhaps a bit of testing?”
Her heart had stopped at that, then again when her Father had agreed. Therapy was useless. She was different, maybe some kind of tumor or something. But all that consent her father had given had gotten her was a bunch of MRIs and Cat scans.
