Name: Brea Anna White

Size alteration.
Brea can change the size of her body, from growing to nearly giant-sized to shrinking down to the size of a tiny child. She likes doing this as often as possible, but she does tend to suffer from joint and muscle pain and stiffness, and she knows she's already likely to have bone problems.

Any Piercings? Her ears are pierced.

General Appearance:
Brea looks like a harmless little child. She appears much younger than her thirteen years, with a rounded face, wide hazel eyes, and a brilliantly cute smile that successfully has her older brothers and her father wrapped around her little finger. In spite of the benefits of her appearance, she doesn’t really like that she looks like a ten-year-old. She wants to be viewed as more grown-up and gets frustrated when teachers tend to treat her like she’s a cute puppy. However, she doesn’t wear makeup (unlike others her age) to make herself look more grown up, and she tends to stick to conservative clothing. This is partly because her parents don’t approve of her trying to look older, and also because Brea hasn’t figured out that boys are good for something more than being manipulated into doing what she wants. So what’s the point of dressing up for them?
She’s small for her age, too. This is a fact that can be changed with her power, but for the most part she doesn’t change it too much. It’s useful when it comes to her parents and even for her teachers, because then they view her as pretty harmless. It’s for this reason that she also keeps her hair long and tends to dress in brighter pinks and blues—the more innocent and girly she looks, the less she gets into trouble! It’s great.
Brea almost always smiles, except when she’s studying or not happy with something. Then she has a tendency to put her hands on her hips and frown, quite seriously. Be careful of Brea frowning. It’s usually not good for anyone.
Personality:
Growing up as the youngest of three and the only daughter of the bunch, Brea quickly adopted several personality traits. One: cunning. She isn’t the most innocent of girls and she definitely has an evil streak. When you have two older brothers, you have to. It’s practically a requirement. The cunning is how she gets away with the tricks she pulls and how she manages to make sure her parents (mostly) don’t find out. Paired with that cunning is also a real intelligence. Brea likes to learn and does very well in school. Some teachers even find her to be a model student in spite of the pranks she sometimes pulls on the other students. But she doesn’t do that often. She only has fun with her siblings—she takes school very seriously, like her parents, and so rarely jeopardizes her grades by doing something that will upset a student or a teacher.
Another survival trait is the love of her family. She may be a little sarcastic sometimes—because she is thirteen—but although she can be mean to her brothers, she loves them all very much and is fiercely protective of them. The only one who can bother them is her, and so she makes sure that everyone else leaves them alone—especially her brother Ethan, who she secretly likes a lot even though she also torments him a lot. This protectiveness extends to other people too. She’s not a fan of bullies and will stand up to them, even if they are twice her size and have super strength. What? She knows she’s got her family to back her up. Or, at least, to carry her away in a stretcher. But that’s only if it gets that bad.
Lastly, the most important trait Brea developed is patience. When she was three, she stayed up until seven in the morning for Santa Claus. She can wait days to make sure her trick goes right, and can spend weeks planning something out. She doesn’t get mad if it goes wrong or if something comes up. Oh, no. This girl can wait forever for something to happen, and is well known for it. So don’t try to outwait this one.

History
Brea was born into a family where everyone had to spend a lot of time together, and which some people might have considered unusual. Okay, which everyone found unusual. Not her family. Oh, no, her family thought it was fine, them all huddling on one bed. Perhaps that was the reason that, among her friends, Brea could later be counted on always complaining how “weird” her parents were. It was only something she was allowed to say. Anyone else spouting those words would be in serious trouble. But there were some pluses to being so close. She always had people to comfort her when she had nightmares, and she grew up knowing how to press all her brother’s buttons (and, less fortunately, her mother’s too). It was only when Brea was eight that she was allowed to move out of the big room, but she later said that it traumatized her for life into actually liking her family.
She still liked her own room better, though.
Public school was a breeze for Brea. There were several reasons for this. One: her parents encouraged all of their children in their schoolwork, and were very supportive and made sure they could get all the help they needed. Even though Brea had some troubles with reading at first, her parents helped her through it, and Brea soon caught their love of learning. However, the second and more important reason was that her siblings weren’t any good at it. And being the youngest (and the brightest, in her mind) she decided that she was going to beat them at this, because she’d probably never be better than them at other things, like being tall and running and jumping and things. Being diagnosed at a young age with asthma tends to limit yourself in these things, and Brea hated losing at anything. If she could beat them in school, maybe it wouldn’t be so annoying that she couldn’t run very far and had difficulties breathing sometimes. This kind of logic also led to piano lessons, as Brea decided that if she couldn’t do athletic things, she’d be a child prodigy at piano. It didn’t work that way, and Brea’s playing is still just passable, but she enjoys doing it and so sticks with it.
Of course, there was also the third reason, which Brea kept quiet. She secretly hoped that by being a good student and working hard, she could somehow be gifted powers like her parents and get to go to Hammel, which seemed like a totally awesome place. Her twisted logic was the harder she tried, the cooler her power would be. When Ethan didn’t come into his power, this faith was shaken. Ethan might not have tried hard, but he seemed to want it enough. When Chris got powers, she dismissed the idea completely. She liked Chris (privately) but she thought Ethan deserved it more. So instead she waited, and didn’t pick on her older brother about it.
This wasn’t out of any sensitivity on her part, mind. Her mother pulled her aside and threatened to stop piano lessons if she brought up the subject.
When her power came, the family was out on a camping trip. Brea was frustrated at being undersized and so unable to climb a tree. She was staring up at a branch above her when she suddenly realized it was getting closer. She grabbed onto it, and then shrank again, leaving her holding the branch and several feet off the ground, frightened and startled. She was all of eleven years old, but she was going to Hammel, the place she’d always wanted to go. Chris was there, but Ethan wasn’t, and she kind of wished he was. But she went to Hammel, struggled through training, and made a few good friends who help her with her pranks. So, so far, life’s pretty sweet.
