It was such a beautiful day outside, no wonder why everyone went home right after school. The halls emptied almost immediately after the bell rang, leaving only a few students straggling behind after a while. Neila had been one of those to stay in. Not that she didn't like the nice weather, no, she was actually sad that it was going to start getting colder soon, but for some reason, she felt like walking around the empty school. It was something that she liked to do once in a while, it made her feel like she was in a weird movie where everyone else in the world was gone except for her.
Making her way into the student's lounge, where she expected to find at least a few students, she pushed open the doors to find no one there. The television had been left on, but it was muted, so the only sound in the room was the high pitched buzzing of the electronics. It was actually kind of eerie. Putting down her heavy bag on a nearby chair, she pulled out her ipod, shoving the buds into her ears. If there was no one around, she may as well practice her dancing. And by practice, she really just meant dancing around wildly for fun.
The music started up and she started bobbing to the beat, her dance progressively getting more motion as she went along. It wasn't long before she was wildly dancing, letting the music take over her body. She closed her eyes, enjoying the peace. She turned, bumping into a body that hadn't been there moments before. A scream escaped her lips, as the presence startled her. She covered her mouth, a laugh coming out. "Aw, I'm sorry, I didn't see you there!" she said to the boy, taking out an earbud.
