Things had not been going well for Josh all day. His teleporting had become very sloppy. The young meta hadn’t been able to make it to anywhere he wanted via teleportation, he kept ending up in the wrong places. He tried to pop in to visit Callie earlier that morning and ended up face down in the main office. When he tried to make it to class before he was any later than he already was he found himself in the middle of the pool, the only up side to that predicament was that all the contents of his pockets had been left at his previous location. Teleporting mishaps had been occurring all day for the boy and he was more than frustrated with himself. Things had gotten so bad for Josh, that he had been taken to the nurse twice on account of a bloody nose and a massive headache he had been having, two side effects that he didn’t particularly enjoy, ever. Josh was told not to teleport anymore until tomorrow and only if he was feeling better, a request that Josh didn’t really like to hear.
With classes over with for the day, Josh had spent his time after the visit to the nurse held up in his room. He was in a terrible mood and really wanted the day to be over with. However considering it was only 4pm, it was highly unlikely that Josh stay held up in his room for to long. No matter how he felt, he need social interaction, besides he hated being alone. Which is why Joshua chose to pop out of his room and over to Callie’s, she would comfort him in his time of need.
Josh should have listened to the nurse. The boy couldn’t even tell if his teleport was successful, his head was hurting so bad his vision was blurry. He stood there for a moment, wherever there was, to let his stomach settle and to let his eyes adjust. He leaned forward and supported himself by grabbing a hold of something with both hands. For a moment he thought he was going to vomit but the feeling passed. He wasn’t teleporting again for some time now, his body wouldn’t be able to take it.
As Josh's vision cleared up, he could tell that he was in the bathroom, the thing that was supporting him was a sink and he could see a blurry reflection of himself in the mirror right above it. As his eyesight cleared more he saw that he was shirtless. It wasn’t the worst thing in the world, he was a little chilly it had happened before but Josh realized that he was more than a little chilly, he was cold, real cold. Why was he so cold, that wasn’t a side effect to teleporting. With his vision back to normal Josh slowly looked down at himself. Joshua was standing there, in the student lounge bathroom wearing absolutely nothing. He was mortified.
