So, I was perusing around the internet (as forumers are wont to do) and I came across something interesting: BMI charts. Being one of those people whose bodies are kind of deceiving, I checked out my BMI (body-mass index) for shits and giggles.
I was not amused.
At 5'7" and 160 lbs, my doctor declared me very healthy three months ago. Additionally, when I listed the approximate heights and weights of other healthy people I knew, theirs were abysmally high as well. So I wondered, what do people actually look like at these weights?
The results were less than impressive.
It took me a little while, but I found a site that has a photographic height/weight chart for men and women - real men and real women in the real world at all kinds of sizes. It gave me some hope for humanity as a whole, and I wanted to share it with you all so that everyone can know what healthy individuals (and unhealthy ones) actually look like.

Now, considering all of this evidence (and the fact that our PBs aren't always entirely accurate), I propose that we think about what a height and weight for a character actually means. So! When you all find a picture that's the same effective shape as your character with the height you've given them, post the results here! I'm sure they'll surprise some of you.
