Just a dance - Open

Lacey walked into the dance studio with a small smile '' Hunny lm home '' she whispered with a an infectious grin on her lips she walked closer to the mirrored wall dropping her backpack down on the floor she knelt down and started to rumage for her ipod and her ballet shoes she smiled pulling out her ipod '' Full battery well tha makes a change '' she tip toed over to the music system and selected her swan lake music listening to the classical melodys flow from the speakers she span around slowly starting to stretch out her body she then tied her hair up in a bun high on her head letting a few strands of her hair tickle at the back of her neck she then pulled off her grey hoddie dropping it on her bag she stood in a thin vest top with a black sports bra underneath glancing at her frame in the window she noticed that the leggings she was wearing has a small hole in she tutted slightly before sitting down and slipping on her shoes tying them perfectly once standing up right she took a few calming deep breathes closing her eyes before starting to dancing letting the music flow through her body and move her around the room the only thing she hadnt realised was that she had left the studio door open.

The sound of a classic melody was what drew Leon out into the dance studio. He never really went there because he wasn't interested in learning more about dance, but when he heard it blaring he knew he could find someone new to meet, or at least someone to talk to. And that was what drew him there.

So when he walked in, he had a very interested look on his face.

Leon stood leaning in the doorway. For the most part he just watched. There was nothing to add or say. He had his gym bag slung over his shoulder and his hair was wet; from those it was obvious that he'd probably not long finished working out, had a shower and stumbled past this. He couldn't help but notice she was good, but for the most part he was checking out how hot she looked. He crossed his arms over his shoulder as he watched. When he saw a break in her dancing, he knocked on the wall nearby.

"Looking good." Leo said with a small smirk, running his hand through his wet hand before crossing his arms again. "I could've thought of a better line, but that works fine for this occasion."

Lacey had her eyes closed so she hadnt noticed the stranger she just gasped quietly when she heard a mans voice she let out a small gasp as she turned to face him blushing slightly '' Well Hello '' she said with a small smile her chest was heaving slightly she tried to calm her breathing as she walked over to him '' Who do you need to have a line ? '' she asked quietly tilting her head to left ever so slightly before she started to giggle quietly.

'' You sure are funny thats for sure '' she said lightly biting on her bottom lip she then glanced down at the floor unsure what to say she looked up at him again her eyes staring into his '' lm Lacey and you are ? '' she asked holding out her hand to him '' Have a good work out ? '' she asked.

Leon let a small chuckle fall from his lips when he saw her reaction to him standing there. He knew he'd end up startling her, but given the fact that she was dancing with her eyes closed, he wasn't sure how he was going to have avoided that one. "Lines. Kinda like a pick up line but not that sleazy. It's so I can impress you with charm before you actually learn my name." Making impressions and all that. He smiled for good measure.

"Well, thanks." He replied lightly, crossing his arms in front of his chest and pushing off the doorway. He took a step into the room, but stopped. He didn't want to intrude on what she was doing if she didn't want someone to talk to.

Leo would have just been happy watching, if she'd end up letting him. "Leonardo. You can call me that, or Leon. Or Leo. Or whatever nickname grabs your fancy." He had a few. And they only grew when people learned the rest of his name. He extended his hand out, walking completely towards her and offering her hand a small shake.

"I did. I'm on the football team. Running Back. So I need to keep up some kind of routine." He explained, looking back and smiling towards her. "You're a dancer?"

She shook his hand gently with a smile she then laughed shaking her head as she looked up and down him once again '' To be honest l dont think that you need any lines .. you seem to be doing pretty well on your own '' she said her cheeks flushing slightly '' l think we will start with Leon '' she said her eyes widening when she looked down at there hands they where still touching.

She froze and stepped back glancing at her costume '' Hmm now what gave that away ? '' she asked laughing as she untied her hair letting it bounce around her shoulders she then moved to grab her grey hoodie '' Yes l dance when ever possible '' she smiled '' Football thats impressive and pretty hardcore '' she stated as she stepped closer to him again still unsure but he was handsome '' So good looking what can l do for you ?'' she asked crossing her arms over her chest as she slowly sat down and started to stretch her legs out not wanting to cramp up.

"I'll take that compliment to heart." Leonardo replied, touching against the space on his chest where his heart was underneath. He wanted her to believe that the words really meant something to him. In part, they did. Not needing lines was awesome. "You can call me whatever you like." He added, finally allowing her hand to slip through his.

Leon tilted his head slightly, looking curious. "Oh, nothing really. Just a guess, I swear." He grinned.

"You could say it's impressive and hardcore. Just more compliments I'll take to heart." He smiled over at her, chuckling at his own words before looking back. "Nothing in particular. I just heard the-" He paused, watching as she started stretching. For a moment it was like he was in a daze, but he did his best to snap out of that quickly. "I heard the music and was curious. Nothing else, really. I just wanted to put a face to the song."

Slipping off her ballet shoes she flexed her red painted toes with a faint giggle she then moved to grab her bag slipping her shoes inside before reching out for her battered trainers she really needed to get some more when she had the money '' Well lm Lacey l listen to classical music dance to anything that l can '' she whispered with a blush as she nervously moved her fingers through her hair '' So...erm .. lm about to go get a drink or a smoothie .. would you like to join me ? '' she asked her cheeks flushed heavily as she shrugged her back onto her shoulder '' l..l mean only if you want to '' she felt even stupider now because she wasnt even sure if he wanted to join her for a drink.

She started to head to the door before she remembered her ipod she couldnt believe it one guy was talking to her and she got so flustered and her cheeks felt like they where on fire with a small smile she turned back and tried to leave the dance studio again '' Second time lucky '' she uttered under her breath slightly.

"It's nice to meet you Lacey." Leonardo replied, glad he actually got her name. He was intrigued by the fact that she liked to listen to classical music; not a lot of people were really into that. His eyes lit up a little when she asked if he wanted to come with her. "I'd love to. Lead the way." He watched as she ran back to grab her iPod and he smiled at her when she ran back.

He held the door open for her, indicating with his free hand for her to walk out. "After you."

Lacey looked up at him lightly biting at her lip with a soft smile '' l.. to be honest lm not really sure where the best place is to go actually so do you have any ideas ? '' she asked stepping out of the door quickly she turned back to look at him while still walking '' Are you a gentleman '' she said with a smile on her face she then turned back walking down the hall and the few cases of stairs till they came out of the Gym.

'' So tell me more about you Leon'' she smiled letting out a small shivered she couldnt believe how cold it was today she adjusted her hoodie making sure it was keeping her neck warm last thing she wanted to do was get sick and start sneezing when she was with a very good looking boy she couldnt help but take another look at him biting lightly on her bottom lip before shaking her head and looking around feeling her cheeks flushing brightly.

'' Well lm kinda wanting a milkshake to be honest .. and the diner is off campus but they are really good is that ok or would you rather stay here ? '' she asked not wanting to sound like too much of a freak.

"Not a fan of the cafeteria? I don't blame you." Leonardo replied with a smirk. He decided that he would take the lead regardless, stepping with a little more intention. "But on campus there isn't really anywhere else to go. Thoughts?"

He shrugged his shoulders lightly, pursing his lips at her question. Such a small question that always took a lot of thought. "That's a loaded question. It really depends on what you're interested in. I can tell you that I'm on the football team. And that I play guitar. And that I'm an only child. Oh, and I have two moms. That's always interesting, I think." He smiled in her direction. Those were the points he could readily come up with.

"Off campus sounds fine to me. Do you have a car?" He asked, looking back over at her again. "I have a motorbike, but sometimes people aren't too keen on riding with me."
