Sebastian O’Callahan
The name, along with the life he could’ve had rang between Odion’s ears. If he could change what had happened, would he? Or, if he couldn’t or wouldn’t, would he give his parents a second chance at the life they had meant to give him? He knew this was going to happen eventually. He trusted that Declyn hadn’t told their parents anything about him, other than the long lost son and twin had finally been found. But they had found him anyways. And now, he was holding a birth certificate from Ireland sent by express mail. It was strange to get stopped by the secretary, claiming she had had this ‘stupid package’ for a month or more. He never received mail.
When Odion opened it, he supposed this was a kind of peace offering. There was also a letter attached, but he set it aside. It was better than throwing it away at least, like he would have had this package been received a month sooner like it was supposed to occur. Pressing the palms of his hands deep into his eye sockets, Odion urged his body to stay composed and the tears from falling.
Sebastian O’Callahan?
As a distraction, Odion left his dorm room and wandered, not really having a destination in mind. There was already so much on his mind, he didn’t need more shit to be brought upon his shoulders at the moment, but just because you didn’t want something to exist didn’t mean it didn’t. Between trying to save Lani and now trying to get the paperwork finished so he could live outside of Hammel, maybe exploring a little bit before he became disassociated with this place would do him so good.
His fingertips ran along the walls of the hallway, something probably not a soul paid any attention to. Finding one of the classrooms unlocked, Odion went into, sitting at one of the long tables. His birth certificate was still in his hands. He had held so many fake identities before, but this one was truly his. Now, he couldn’t decided what to do with it.
