The Basics
Name: Henry Ray Williamson
Nicknames: Ray
Age: Twenty-Seven
Orientation: Homosexual
Desired Rank/Job: Part-time Trainer, Part-time Security
Powers: Cellular Regeneration
With this ability/power, Henry is capable of healing himself and only himself. By continuously regenerating the cells within his body, he is capable of healing just about any wound he receives when necessary. He developed this power first, and has trained for several years in it. He has become so proficient in it that he can even regenerate missing limbs, organs, etc. etc. for a price of course. For one, he cannot regenerate his own heart or brain, as he would be dead without either one. As far as other organs go, it is extremely difficult for him to do so, no matter how important or insignificant the organ is. For example, if he was trying to regenerate his liver, he would suffer drawbacks such as horrible pains, extreme nausea, a queasy/strange feeling, and an extreme feeling of fatigue, so much so that after the process is done he would be out cold for a few days straight. Also, his regenerative ability doesn’t happen instantaneously, depending on how severe the wound is. Although he can heal bruises, cuts, and most stabs within a few minutes to an hour, regenerating organs or limbs takes at least a few painful hours.
There is also a drawback that is even more disadvantageous than the ones mentioned so far for this particular ability. While it doesn’t take much effect when he heals flesh wounds or non-lethal ones, if he tries growing back organs or limbs, this will become a long term consequence. Because Henry must rapidly regenerate cells to perform this ability, he ends up shortening his life span when he does this in large bursts. The more he uses this ability, the shorter his overall life will become, which is why he tries to use it sparingly and only in life threatening situations. Although he has only used it once or twice in life-threatening instances so far, he predicts that he has already cut off a few years from his potential life span, though he has no idea if that is true. It could be more or less, as he is not sure.

The Details
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Blue
Any Piercings? None
Any Tattoos? None
Any Scars? Three Inch, Stomach
General Appearance:
Henry stands about five feet and ten inches and weighs one-hundred and eighty-five pounds. Despite his appearance, he is quite a strong guy to make up for the fact that his power would not help him in a fight as far as offensive attacks go. While he can take a lot of hits, he is able to dish them out too if necessary. He works out a lot so he does have some definition and tone, but nothing to telling like a six pack or bulging muscles like a body-builder. He has a slight tan, naturally though. Sometimes he doesn't shave too so he'll have anything from a little stubble to a full-blown beard, depending on how lazy he is feeling and such. His eyes are a light blue, and often seem to shine in certain lights and such. His hair is always kept short and is a dark blond/dark brown color.
As far as clothing, Henry likes to keep it casual unless it is required or such. Being a security guard, he (probably, I guess) has a uniform that he must wear when on duty, but when he isn't on duty he dresses normally. Usually jeans and a t-shirt are enough for him, the former in the colors of blue, dark blue, and sometimes black, while the latter in the colors of white, black, blue, red, etc. etc. He's not too picky with clothing usually. Sometimes, if he is trying to impress some guy or something, he'll wear more fancier things like button-up shirts and slacks and such, though that depends on how much he wants to impress the guy. When he does have to dress fancy though, he does like to splurge and go all out. He'll wear the fanciest suit he owns with the fanciest shoes and he'll know he looks good.
Personality: Henry is a people person first and foremost. He loves meeting new people and getting to know them, and because of this he gets a lot of friends, but also a lot of enemies. Some people love the fact that you can talk to him and tell him things that you couldn't tell other people. However, some people don't like that about him, and think he is a little too friendly and they're often suspicious of him and such. As far as enemies do go though, he still doesn't like to be antagonistic towards people. He considers himself some sort of pacifist and doesn't like to fight, which is odd considering he is a security guard. He would prefer it if someone took their anger out on him in physical ways, because he knows he could take just about anything anyone could dish as far as fighting goes. He also has a strong temper when it comes to people messing with his friends, and he will often butt into their business even if they don't want him too. He is considered overtly protective because of that.
Despite Henry's physical prowess, he is emotionally sensitive sometimes. As said above, he has quite a temper when you mess with his friends and depending on how far you go he will take action despite his pacifistic behavior. When he does snap, he is quite offensive and will attack someone emotionally and physically. However, it's not often that he snaps, but when he does it's like he turns into a completely different person. He will often act like this with most of his friends, meaning he will snap no matter how well he knows his friend, whether they are a new one or old. He is an extremely moral person and doesn't tolerate cruelty in any form, which makes him come off as righteous a lot too. Not only does he have quite the temper, he is also emotionally susceptible. He doesn't take insults well and is also hurt easily as far as relationships and such go, often because he is easily attached to people, particularly anyone he is dating. However, he does his best to hide this, though sometimes he is completely unsuccessful.
Despite all of his faults, Henry is a very friendly and nice person. As far as relationships go, although he is easily attached to people, he does know how to give people space and will try to do so if they ask for it. Sometimes he smothers people, but he doesn't mean too. However, he is very versatile in relationships too. He loves being romantic and loves it when his partner is romantic, but he can also be really flirty and such. He'd rather his partner feel good than himself. However, he doesn't become obsessive. He knows everyone needs their space, including himself, so he doesn't purposely follow his lover around or anything. He still has a job, which he sees as him and the other guards protecting the school, making sure it and it's inhabitants are safe. He cherishes his job, despite his peaceful demeanor. Instead, he uses his ability to become a punching for any kind of enemy and such, usually capable of distracting one or more at a time if he is really trying.

History
Henry was born to Kyle and Eileen Williamson on May seventh, 1983 in a small town in central New York. He is an only child to the married couple and they lived a modest life for awhile in the small town. Henry's family was moderately wealthy, so he got a lot of things when he grew up, but not everything. Like all meta-humans, he didn't learn about his abilities until puberty, and even then it took him and his family awhile to realize them. Henry ended up joining the Hammel Institute a little late because of that. The neighborhood they lived in was fairly poor too and filled with crime, which led up to him learning about his abilities later on. He even went to high school for a year before he was brought to the Institute in the mountains of Vermont.
Before high school, Henry had a relatively normal life like any other child. He had a lot of friends, went to middle school, had sleep-overs, etc. etc. There were no signs that he would be a meta-human. However, once high school started, things started to turn around. He joined a lot of sports at his high school, including Wrestling, Football, and Tennis particularly. He was fairly popular and even back then he was a very friendly and optimistic person. Unfortunately, a lot of these got him into trouble. He often got into fights with jealous opponents and teammates (of whom he beat in sports), prejudice people, and envious persons (he was fairly rich in a rather poor neighborhood). For awhile, these fights weren't very serious or threatening, and they were always started by someone else rather than himself.
One day though, that all changed. After a particularly amazing win in a game of football during the school season, Henry was attacked by members of the opposing team. Three guys ended up jumping him while he was walking home and they beat him down pretty badly. This is how Henry got the scar on his stomach. One of them had brought a knife and literally shanked him because they were so jealous and angry. However, this is were Henry's powers became apparent. The bruises and cuts he received during this beat down started to heal before their very eyes. Obviously, this shocked not only Henry but the three boys who attacked him. Henry, however, took advantage of this and attacked the guys back, able to fend them off so he could get away. When he got home, his parents saw his situation but also saw his healing. However, his abilities weren't capable of healing the stab wound back then.
His parents had heard the rumors of these special type of people who could do things normal people couldn't, but they didn't know what to do. It was because of this hesitancy that a tragedy happened in Henry's life and it would shape him forever. Henry grew a pacifistic outlook on life after this. One day while he was walking to school (he always walked to school), those same guys from that football game showed up again. Henry pretty much predicted this, since last time he ended up with the upper-hand and chased them away, so he figured they would want revenge, which is why this time he was prepared, having carried a baseball bat with them. They got into a fight again, but since this time Henry had a weapon, he got was winning easily for the most part. Unfortunately, his temper took over. He remembered the things they said and did, and that day he ended up putting two of them in the hospital while seemingly not being wounded at all.
That fight changed his life. He had never planned on doing something as harsh and dangerous as putting one of them in a coma, yet he couldn't control himself. He vowed to never attack anyone intentionally again, and to not fight unless it was absolutely necessary. As said above, that fight changed his life, but in more than one way. It made him adopt his pacifistic behavior, but it is also what got him into Hammel. A lot of people saw the fight, and they saw that the hits that Henry did get were slowly healed right before their very eyes. Rumors quickly spread around town and anger built up. Henry was being threatened and called a freak and such for awhile before things got worse. He was completely slandered throughout town, by everyone, except his parents and a few friends. However, luck changed for him as a representative of Hammel had heard about all of this and came to find Henry.
Henry was fourteen when he was enrolled in Hammel Institute. His years there were relatively normal for a school for people with powers. He was a good student, excelling in science and math particularly. Once he was out of Hammel as a student, he pursued some other things, visited his parents, and such before he decided that's where he wanted to be, was at Hammel. So, now he has become a Security guard along with Martin Pratt and others.

Roleplay Example
~ from another site (True Blood).
Kyle was sitting in his dorm doing some homework for one of his classes when he heard something outside his door. Looking up at the doorway, he frowned slightly. It seemed as if nothing was there. With a shake of his head, he moved his eyes back down to the book he was studying from. It wasn't the funnest thing to do in the world, but it was the weekday, he had a lot of homework, so he couldn't really go out and party at the moment. It was the end of the year, his second term in college, but none-the-less, he couldn't afford to slack off now. Not with how expensive this school was. Studying for a bit longer, it was until eleven o'clock at night when he heard a knock on his door. "Whose visiting this late?" he wondered to himself as he got up from his chair. He glanced over to the beds and saw his roommate sleeping. Biting his lip sullenly, he moved toward the door to open it.
A man was standing there is a business suit with a closely shaved head and somewhat large build. Kyle raised an eyebrow, wondering why someone so fancy would be visiting him at this hour of the night. He didn't know it was a Vampire.
"Um, hello?" Kyle mumbled after a short pause. He wasn't use to visitors this late at night. The man looked up and down the hallway pretty suspiciously before looking back at Kyle and opening his mouth. Fangs spurted out quickly, atleast an inch and a half long, which made Kyle reflexively jump back a few feet as he stared at this creature with a mix of curiosity and fear. The vampire had a devilish grin on his face before he let the face retract and he stepped slightly closer. 'Aren't you going to let me in? Don't worry, I won't bite," he smiled again, an almost dangerous smile. Kyle felt like he was an idiot for doing, probably sentencing himself and his roommate to death, but he had a feeling that a vampire showing up in a suit as fancy as this, in the middle of the night, in a crowded dorm, wasn't going to try and kill anyone. Before he did so, he grabbed his silver necklace, one he had gotten from his mother, and put it on. "Alright... Come in." and the vampire stepped over the threshold.
