Julia woke up with a start letting out a cry of pain she looked at her huge bump there was know point in lying she had become a whale since being pregnant but she didnt care she loved being pregnant she was rather sad knowing it would end soon but she was so excited to meet her daughter yes she was knew about the sex of the baby she had done since she was able to she felt the sharp pain again '' Lea !'' she called out to her friend who had been staying for a few nights with her since she was close to her due date.Because she just didnt want to stay on her own because going into labour on your own must be scary but Lea was Julias comfort blanket and a good friend from work
'' Lea... its time to go '' She said waddling down the hall way her hand bracing herself against the wall to where the nursery was
knowing that Lea was proberly fast asleep on the blow up air bed making a loud hissing sound she braced against the wall feeling a trickle of fluid down her sleep shorts she whimpered '' LEA !!!'' she yelled hearing a thud in the room she knew her friend was finally awake a sleeping looking woman stuck her head out of the door '' Its time to go...now '' she uttered doing her breathing skills that she had been taught at the new mother classes as she breathed through the pain till it had passed she then waddled back towards her room and changed into some grey sweat pants and a blue t-shirt which stretched over her huge belly she then started to walk down the hall again knowing her bag was packed by the door with things ready for her and the baby and the car seat was in the car all installed too Lea rushed down the hall way grabbing the keys and helping Julia into the car.
On the way to the hospital that took just over twenty minutes they where just pulling up the hospital when Julia pulled out her mobile and dialed her ex husbands number her hands shaking as another contraction ripped through her body listening to the dial tone she waited '' H... hello Nick.. its time lm at the hospital... Oh my goodness...''she groaned as she rubbed at her stomach taking a few deep breathes her teeth gritted '' Just...hurry please ''
